Ooh, I didn’t know there was a new Andrea Stewart coming out! Definitely going onto my to-read list.
I hadn't quite clocked it either until it arrived. I'm nearly finished and really enjoyed it.

I also plan to read the Inadequate Heir this month, it takes place on the same timeline than the previous one, so it should be easy for you to get back into the serie.

happy bday in advance!!! i hope your thirties are filled with more good books, laughter, joy and more amazing memories than your twenties! my TBR for july is finishing throne of glass (i finished book 4 , 3 more to go) and afterwards, i think ill pick up a stand-alone to take a break from big series! and Magician is also on my TBR. ooh bridge kingdom! (i'm writing the message as im listening), thats also a contender... how to choose ? it will depend on my mood i guess.

I have a few buddy reads this month, but I keep reaching past them for others 🙃 I guess july is a mood reading month.
It can be such a struggle with buddy reads...I feel like I can be excited to read that book and then when it becomes time to read it suddenly all I want to do is read other ones

i believe i read someone ranting in a review of the inadequate heir that it contained a lot of repetition of the previous books, so that might work out in your favor. i’ve only read the first two books so far and need to continue myself.
i was actually admiring your nails just before you mentioned getting them done. i love nail polish but unfortunately do not love applying it, so.. i have bottles of nail polish sitting around feeling bored and ignored. 🫣😂
for july i hope i will continue with book three of blackthorn and grim and get to service model.
