    Excited to give y'all some more free game! Here are a few more questions that I thought of while editing this:
    - Is there easy, on-site parking? *super ideal, especially if you're in the city
    - High ceilings? *not a requirement, but very very nice to have
    - Natural light? *not a requirement, but makes photographers job a lot easier depending on your set!
    - Ground level? If not, is there an elevator? Is the elevator accessible 24/7? *some buildings have elevators that only operate from 9am-5pm. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Photographers and productions would have to carry tons of equipment up and down the stairs and that is a painnn. 24/7 access elevator is a MUST!
    - Is there a freight elevator? *SUPER helpful for large productions that bring in lots of equipment!

    Brandon. Like the content and jus subscribed. Question: what do u think about a space that doesn’t have a lot of natural lighting?
    Feedback… try to keep your voice projection at the same level. Thanks for the content. And look forward to the next one

      Natural lighting def isn't essential, especially if it's a themed studio. Though if it's a super clean photography studio with white walls, I'd probably recommend finding a space with natural light. Glad this video was helpful and I appreciate the insight!

    Hi Brandon! Thank you so much for being such a great resource! Quick question for you - I am in LA, where do you usually look for listings? Online or via an agent? If online, what websites do you browse? Thank you!

      Hi there! For my first two spaces, I found them on dtlarealestate.com and loopnet.com. For this next space that I'm helping my girlfriend lease, we have been working with a broker that helps us out with finding the space and negotiating the terms of the lease!

    Appreciate the great content. Do you believe you can be successful in starting a studio in location on the outskirts of a city to avoid high rent costs? Like 15-20minutes outside the city. I feel like being in a high traffic-high visibility spot isnt as important for this concept as long as you market well. Would appreciate your opinion. Thanks im advance

    • @BrandonEsparza
      @BrandonEsparza  Год назад +1

      What’s up Frank! I agree, high traffic-high visibility isn’t very important as the majority of business will come from online sources. 15-20 minutes outside of the city isn’t bad, but any more might be a bit tough, convenience wise. Which city are you in?

      @@BrandonEsparza Far from LA brotha. I'm out in Lancaster, PA which has a thriving culinary and art scene but with zero content studios = huge potential.

    I’m trying to look for a studio in my area however, I am not in a large city and I’m finding it really hard to get a space with lots of natural lighting. Are there certain key words that I need to type in besides office space and retail space?
    My goal is to get a loft with lots of windows, but I’m having a really hard time finding that .

    • @BrandonEsparza
      @BrandonEsparza  Год назад +1

      Hey Isabella! It doesn't look like there's a filter for that in LoopNet :/ could also drive around your city to try and find any buildings that fit your criteria then see if they have any available units. Good luck with your search!

    What would you say is the minimum sq ft we should start with? I don’t want to start too small or too big. Thanks!

    • @BrandonEsparza
      @BrandonEsparza  Год назад +1

      One of my studios right now is only 550 sq ft and there’s no complaints! But I would recommend around 750, that seems to be a sweet spot. And make sure you measure the room yourself before signing a lease because sometimes they inflate the square footage!
