I love these videos! And 20min is the sweet spot imo. I'd like to know you guys personally a little as well, what style do you play, what guitars do you have, what kind of work did you do before etc. Looks like you have a nice dynamic with each other so would be a nice thing to see to really familiarize your viewer/customer with the people behind the brand. Maybe after each video one of you can play on a finished guitar? Or the soundtrack we hear during the video will be shown in the outro. Maybe some customers who come by the shop or some famous people who don't mind could show their face in the shop as well?
Wow really can’t say I’ve heard of it but being the owner of a Brook guitar I naturally follow all their builds as well and they made some stunning quilted mahogany guitars that I believe may of been an old Bank counter or something? I appreciate Alisters Marmite comment as at the end of the day that is all it is and for me personally I’d rather see the back lol. Whatever I think we can all agree on the fact that Atkin guitars are making really great instruments that sound superb
I wonder why you guys don’t have an all Mahogany guitar in your line-up? I think an all-gloss, all-mahogany 000 guitar in a pre-war style 17 would be amazing in your range.
@@watertails oooh, looking forward to seeing that. Hey, just a thought about bite sized content, you could always do 2-3 minute playing, no talking, demos of selected guitars from your weekly completions…in addition to whatever else you’ve got planned.
Hi Folks. I feel a little disappointed with the messages in this video. What is wrong with people that they are unable to sit and watch a 15-20 min video once a week, and need to be spoon fed bite size snippets and reels. Is 15-20 mins, once a week, really too much to ask of a viewer. As a fan and owner of an OM37, it seems to me that the custom work is now beginning to be the focus, which I feel is a shame.
Thank you Andrew, we really appreciate your candid feedback here. We will be continuing to give a good depth on each topic (not just really short 60s videos). So you’ll still get the detail but perhaps there will be 3 6/7 minute videos, rather than one video containing all 3 topics. We’ve definitely shared of lot of the custom work so far but be assured our core vintage inspired models are our foundation - you’ll be seeing lots of this in coming weeks. OM37, great choice Sir!
I’d like to second this. For everyone who contacts you complaining about your videos there will be one of us who enjoy every second. Trouble today is that there are so many complaining that they inevitably get a voice and those who just silently and politely enjoy the effort you go to don’t bet a vote Or perhaps me and Andrew are the only two who don’t want it to change 🤷🏻♂️ Just received an essential D this week which I am totally in love with. Take care yourselves lads.
Thanks again for balancing the perspectives - the more we hear the better and this will all shape what we produce. Enjoy your Essential D, true cannon of a guitar!
The art episode, then. Featuring the painted top, the gold top and er...the short-back-and-sides-with-a-bit-left-on-the-top! Nice.
😂 we’ll take that!
Normal service resumes shortly…
I bloody love you lot. ❤
Great job guys :) love the painted guitar tops :) keep up the great work:)
Thanks Ryan.
i would love a hollow body guitar from ATKIN ❤
Please keep posting on RUclips loving all the content.
We certainly will and thank you.

Yeah for me the painted top is for sure my own version of marmite but I do love the beautiful figured back wood mahogany I presume?
Yes indeed, it’s Quilted Pommelé Mahogany

David, thanks for the suggestion - we’ll be doing this for sure. And yeah, all mahogany models will be coming very soon 😊
@@Atkinguitarcompany Not that I have a problem personally with talking explaining the particular features of each guitar, but, ye know, some do!
