I was in the 2nd Ranger Battalion, we went to Panama to do some work. While in the Jungle the first place we we stopped to set up our PB we came across a FER DE LANCE/Bothrops. Unfortunately we had to kill it. It is so cool learning about them and Bush Masters on your channel. You are by the best and most knowledgeable on RUclips in my opinion. Keep up the great work!!!!

Willie brother you are a top class kinda guy. Your videos have been just inspirational to me and my family. My wife and myself are now herping together at least 3 times a week when we find the time. Also your videos have helped me understand and identify snakes here in Southern Indiana. We have a great park called Lapping Park here in Clarksville Ind that is loaded with life. Snakes, Frogs, to Foxes and Deers. I learned that in my area we don’t have Cottonmouths at all. I spoke with DNR and they confirmed it as well. I was sure for years but the snakes that I thought was Cottonmouths we’re a type of water snake. Thanks for what you do. I wish I could throw some $$ to you guys, I will once we get back on our feet. Thanks again. Much love to you all. Venom Squad rocks. I would say Blacktail and Prairie or Mojave’s

Like I said in the video. Snakes should have a hide box or they end up banging the glass and hurting themselves. As you know Willy.
.I'm a novice. But here goes; mostly Canebreak, some EDB, some black tailed, and a touch of Mojave rattlesnake. Ok...that was the intelligent SOUNDING guess!!
The official novice guess (by percentage)
is: 57% Heinz Rattlesnake (57 varieties), 40% WestVa Inbredicus, and 3 % TFIIK (The Fuck If I Know)!!
That's about as technical as I can get as I've not learned too many different rattler species...lol!
Willy...man you guys are improving by leaps and bounds!! You're getting comfortable being on camera and speaking. You are just being YOU...and that is both refreshing and entertaining. Miss Deena is a natural at operating the camera!!
This is one of the most entertaining and informative episodes so far! I know if I was going to buy/keep any venomous animals..I would sure as hell listen to this!

    • @VenomCentral

True professionals will not free-handle venomous snakes. Because they would not risk their lives with such an irresponsible act. ESPECIALLY on social media. People you see doing this are hobbyists doing it for pure shock value, views and likes 👍. Just because someone has a Florida venomous permit doesn't make them a trained professional no matter what they say. They are ultimately the reason that legislator's are going after private keepers, banning or trying to ban venomous reptiles for private keepers. Telling their viewers that they can read their snakes reactions is ridiculous, giving people the impression it's ok, but what people don't realize is that you cannot get out of the way of a snake striking at 150 mph+. Thanks for watching and your great comment! 👍🔥🐍🙏💪

The tail is how you differentiate between gender...but venomous vs nonvenomous is not as cut and dry simple. Basically the venomous pupil is a slut, like a cateye and nonvenomous is round. But you shouldn't get that close if you don't know. Best thing is always treat them as venomous, give them a wide berth until you better learn the differences for snakes in your area! Cross between a black tail and Mojave or timber

I'm guessing Mojave / Blacktail. It definitely has Molossus. Eye stripes looks like Mojave. I don't believe this would ever be a naturally occurring hybrid as the Mojave's tend to not be on the mountains.
