Unfortunately we had to kill it. It is so cool learning about them and Bush Masters on your channel. You are by the best and most knowledgeable on RUclips in my opinion. Keep up the great work!!!!

Ok Willy. Listened to your hints. Let me try this: Canebrak, EDB, Black-tailed, Prairie. Don't know if this is it. My original had Mojave in place of Prairie, along with the others. Man...now I have a headache..lol! Maybe i just need to stick to my NOVICE guess. I refigured the percentages on that one...lol! Good night sir!
Okay, so let me get this straight. You worked with the military training Special Ops troops and didnt accept payment? Dude, you just gained my immediate respect and support for not milking the Government as so many other civilian contractors do. I havent watched much of your content but that right there tells me your a stand up and trustworthy guy. Thanks for all you do, stay safe!
It's so funny how so many other snake channels claim that they quarentine their reptiles, then you watch them over and over open new snakes/reptiles and they put them straight into an enclosure right dab in the middle of their snake/reptile room... Willie brother you are a top class kinda guy. Your videos have been just inspirational to me and my family. My wife and myself are now herping together at least 3 times a week when we find the time. Also your videos have helped me understand and identify snakes here in Southern Indiana. We have a great park called Lapping Park here in Clarksville Ind that is loaded with life. @@VenomCentral coming back and watching this video....as you know, I have a big eastern female. Can I send it to you, and we breed her with a tzabcan? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Rattlesnake X is cool. You just mentioned at the end of my video about a venom analysis. That was going to be my question. I was thinking some Eastern Diamondback and also some Mojave. Thx.
Here my guess California southern pacific with a canebrake thanks Willie very informative show I can’t wait for your just born “ Baby Bushmasters show” May God richly bless you and Deena. Alex T. 🐍
That's a "Batwing" EDB x Canebrake hybrid, isn't it Willy? Beautiful animal...Actually, have tried, and am currently trying to breed some...Thanks for the great videos and the content! Best regards, Mike
Dude that is so cool that you got to be a SERE instructor! I bet that was a great experience man. I know you can’t give away much of the course, but did you actually use venomous snakes for the course? And if so what ones did you use?
Great video Willie, you’re a good dude! Will Nace recently said he doesn’t use hide boxes for his rattlers because he wants the snakes to get used to him. He said it’s working because they no longer rattle when he pulls them out of their cages. What are your thoughts on this? Keep up the good work my man!
Like I said in the video. Snakes should have a hide box or they end up banging the glass and hurting themselves. I don't watch other channels , so I really can't comment on his reasoning for his husbandry. All I can tell you is what I know of snakes after keeping and breeding them for 37 years.
Willie, I'm wanting to open up a reptile exhibit in my city. I've already spoken with the department of wildlife here to get all the information I need as far as permits or licenses etc. I'd like to get the snakes I want for the exhibit as captive bred. Do you think the suppliers you've mentioned may have what I'm looking to obtain? I'd like to get the WDB, Mojave, Speckled, Pannamint, and Sidewinders for starters and then build from there.
Damn the snake is beautiful, I was going to say I know it's got Eastern and Western and blacktail! It's magnificent species, you are so fortunate to have her Willie and Deena! 😊🤘
Thats a Batwing. Cross between a Eastern Diamondback and a Canebrake and maybe either a Pacific or a Black tailed rattlesnake. That would be my guess?!😎
I was going to mention Fascination herps but could not get in contact with Eric while making this video. I always ask for permission before I use someone's name in a video. But you are right they are one of the good ones.
Gorgeous rattlesnake :-) No idea what it might be. But I got a question: Why don´t wild caught rattlesnakes of the U.S. need to be quarantined - couldn´t they also have mites?
You know I have never seen a wild rattlesnake with mites. I have seen a few with ticks on them. For some reason reptile mites don't seem to like rattlesnakes.
Interesting video, although I’ll never own a snake of any kind (wife keeps saying NO). Maybe that’s a good thing. Rattlesnake X is a beautiful snake. Love watching your videos. Especially the Bushmasters and the gaboon viper. Keep up the great content.

The tail is how you differentiate between gender...but venomous vs nonvenomous is not as cut and dry simple. Basically the venomous pupil is a slut, like a cateye and nonvenomous is round.
