You may want to check the heating coil in the oven. The one I had just plugged in the oven on the back. If this is the case, find an appliance repair store where you can just buy the coil and plug it in yourself. Saves a ton of money. Have a pretty princess day!

I brought a stove bring new 30th years ago and when my boiler went out a year ago tried to get a part for it and they no longer made parts for it I hope you have better luck finding parts for your stove.

I love cooking on gas don’t like a gas oven , you can get 30 inch gas top electric over . But as far as getting gas that would cost more to have gas installed like 2000 too and I need a 24 inch never see in gas . I’ll hopefully get the part to fix . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Appliances do seem to konk out around holidays eh????!!!! I had to buy one last year and trying to find a white one I could afford was my problem! Everything was black or stainless or satin finish. Mine had to be ordered and wasn't on Sale either!!! I fumed and fussed, but bought it and had it delivered and installed so now I feel like I simply MUST COOK😅😁🙄. HAVE A GREAT TIME ANYWAY!!!! I'm your FAN...no matter what you film for us!!! We have a brand new GOODWILL I will check out this week!!! (I get excited over THRIFTING too 😘

Oh geez good luck with the stove...when I moved here I didn't purchase a stove for 2 plus years..I was holding out for a specially nice one and finally I realized I do not need that, I ended up with a basic version bought at home Depot but they brought it in...I had to have the gas hooked up by someone else! 🤷Things you would think should be simple it ends up they never are..👍👏😊

As far as the oven goes…. Go for an air fryer! They do everything! I baked a cake and cookies in mine! It roasts, broils, reheats , popcorn!! In a very short amount of time! My power bill bent down to $30!

Suggestion: Before you pay for your stove to be repaired, please take a look online and or a used appliance store. My stove decided to quit on me and I found out the cost would be close to buying new stove just to repair the old stove. Home Depot & or Lowe's have more appliances online that might have that stove. Don't give up. Hang in there!

I moved last year and the home has older appliances. My stove is electric and it is from the 70's and the knob is now broken (small little knob) and I can only cook at 350. Kitchen needs a lot of new upgrades. I would rather wait to replace the floor and the countertops, etc. I am enjoying all your thrift adventures and love your home videos especially the decor and cooking. Love to you. Omg … my stove broke on Friday and I bought an induction one on Sunday at Canadian Appliance… have to get use to it on how to cook with it… we buy our apt. Size stove for tenants there also. . They delivered ours into the kitchen and took the other one away for free. Good luck in your search… we also got an apt. Size one at Costco a couple of years ago. once…

Brooke, have you checked at an actual appliance store. I’ve found they have better service and are not more costly then the big box stores. Hope you have a wonderful trip.
I think getting it repaired is a great idea, that’s what I always tried first. We live in a small place and Lowe’s in America (online) is where we had to get our stove top. I do think they still make the coil burner type if you don’t like the glass top. We have a small two burner built in glass top and I don’t have any problems with it. I had to remind myself to not set pans down on it too hard since I was used to a gas stove but other than that it’s all been fine. 😊
I did, but it’s the part they’re looking for so if I can find one perfect oh yeah, they still make them. I much prefer that than the glass top. I like to cook a lot and I find them really messy xo ❤️🎄

I watch your videos… I’m probably about the same age as you and like thrifting and doing my own things as well around my small house and yard. After a terrible year last year of losing two sisters a father and my brother n law … I am trying to get myself back.. it ain’t easy… they all passed within 4 months.. from Jan till April. Whew! Sucked the life all out of me as well. I do watch you as it means a lot since my sister and I did a lot of crafting… thrifting together. I took care of them as well. Well enough about all that and I’m not even sure why I’m telling you all this except that if you lived in the states we’d probably have coffee! lol.. good luck with your health and videos.
That's a real pain about buying a stove there's not a small type of appliances store to deliver in your home l hope you find one l feel for your pain l am having second back surgery on Dec 19 pain is inhuman so many pills and no relief l hope you feel better when you go to LA here's hoping be well my sister in pain.

I watch your videos… I’m probably about the same age as you and like thrifting and doing my own things as well around my small house and yard. After a terrible year last year of losing two sisters a father and my brother n law … I am trying to get myself back.. it ain’t easy… they all passed within 4 months.. from Jan till April. Whew! Sucked the life all out of me as well. I do watch you as it means a lot since my sister and I did a lot of crafting… thrifting together. I took care of them as well. Well enough about all that and I’m not even sure why I’m telling you all this except that if you lived in the states we’d probably have coffee! lol.. good luck with your health and videos.

That's a real pain about buying a stove there's not a small type of appliances store to deliver in your home l hope you find one l feel for your pain l am having second back surgery on Dec 19 pain is inhuman so many pills and no relief l hope you feel better when you go to LA here's hoping be well my sister in pain.
