  • A wee catch up as August slips into September...
Audio wise, I don't think that the Bell MX-9 got a fair first ride. It was just so blustery today. The winds were swirling around and gusting at 40-50 mph.
Taking that into consideration, I don't think that it did too badly. And will certainly be good enough for my Sena intercom when it (hopefully) arrives back from being repaired/replaced.
Look out for a short first impressions video coming soon.
I've managed to bike for over 25 years without getting the track day bug. But after that pillion ride in Portimao I think that is about to change.
Mrs Zero One and I had thought about heading back to Portugal later this year. But on second thoughts, it makes more sense to get that tuition in the spring so that I can put what I've learned into practice.
If I did it late in the autumn, I'd only forget most of what I'd been taught by the time that the Scottish biking season came back around.

We got home today Rob, had a fantastic time, and honestly, over the 12 days of riding, we only had to ride in rain for about 1hr total 😲
So fortunate with the weather , we brought some sunshine back with us to Derbyshire, and I’ve left you some for the coming week 😁👍🏼
It’s been an amazing tour yet again , thank you and your kin for the incredible hospitality.
    👌

@@wilswood8137 Well in that case I'd ask for a refund. You never got the full Scottish experience. I went north today and got a whole TWO hours of wind and rain on the return leg alone! 😂💦
Glad to hear that you both had an enjoyable holiday mate 👍🏻

I see 44Teeth emulated your pillion ride. Did you have to have that medical? It's been a fallow biking year to be sure. 👍

@@CodgerBiker No medical. Just signed the usual stuff. But you were medically insured in the cost.
Got hardly any views that. But Mrs CZO and I will be watching it into our dotage.

Editing, conditions, wind noise, god knows what else…the time it takes to put it together, but it’s another sanity outlet! Audio sounds good mate 😎👍🏻. Been a paltry year for biking, or at least it seems to have been! along with quite a limited summer or so it seems as i’ve also been away with work when it’s been decent.
I keep Almeria ( Being my favourite track) in my weather app and it’s still 26 deg there! dunno why, it’s a bit depressing at times 😂 maybe time to relocate! but very hot in the height of summer.

@@twistandgo3414 Yeah. There's a fine line when it comes to temperatures and riding bikes. Somewhere in the low to mid 20's is spot on to me.
If our weather was a little more predictable, I'd say Scotland would be right up there as one of the best places to stay and motorcycle.
I've taped over the inside of the chin vents. Seems to have helped a fair bit 🤞🏻
