To be fair to Nickhun who said he was in charge of looks, he was hired and marketed as the visual member of the group. Of course every member was hot but, he was in charge of winks.
The ot6 are all hot and special! When they first debuted it was Nichkhun and Taecyeon who were considered hottest and dominated the variety shows. Khun alone brought in the highest number of the founding (and lasting) fanbase. This is undeniable. However, we can't deny that it's Junho who is now attracting younger fans and keeps the band's name going. That's said, it all boils down to the contribution of each member, not just one person. Nichkhun and Jun K. are my biases. Khun is probably the best dancer in the hyung line (the maknaes are all exceptional!). Just think about how he started off with zero skills in dancing and singing, not mentioning non-Korean speaking whatsoever, and compare that to who he is now. Man, his improvement is unmatched! I don't think we will have another Nichkhun ever again. Seriously what an angelic face and a beastly body in one package! Athletic-wise he is the best too. still watching and obsessing over his badminton and golf shows. IMO Jun K. has the best voice in K-Pop, very unique and memorable. The timbre, the vibrato and sensuality in his voice add so much flair and drama in 2PM songs. Honestly without him, they could be just a boring vocal group. His voice really makes 2Pm stand out and special. Jun K. broad shoulders and defined armpits are also very sexy! Him in tank top is killing me EVERY TIME. Too bad he's up against Khun and Taec fans seem to overlook his fine features when he's also a handsome and funny man indeed. I like Taec not because of his obvious manly vibe but his role as the fun MC of the group. Every time he's MCing, there comes ensuing chaos! So fun and adorable to watch! His bass voice is what's needed in K-pop! I can't stand all the falsetto and men singing too many high notes. always anticipating his rap parts and occasional ballads (of course he can sing well!). The three maknaes are the group main dancers and they are killing every move! Dance-wise, Wooyoung is my bias. While Junho's dance is calculated, sexy and strong, Wooyoung's is funnier, livelier and craftier. Very energetic and creative too. love his chemistry with his Khunhyung. I love the fact that Chansung is the maknae but doesn't look like it and got teased a lot by his hyungs. His avatar Chanana is the best! stage gold in concert! Chansung's bridge parts are all very good and hit the right spot every time. I feel happy for Junho that his season has finally come. still remember how he was edited out in shows like idol army. You can see that he has tried so hard to get recognized for his well-rounded abilities. He's the strongest dancer and singer in the group which is confirmed in his solo career. Junho deserves the world for his hard work and superb self-disciplining mindset. These days I find myself respecting him more as an actor than an idol, something that usually doesn't happen much in Korean pop culture. I'm a new Hottest and I completely agree with your comment. I was a K- drama person first due to SJK but fell for Taecyeon. I was floored when I found out that he is an idol and the main rapper, at that. I discovered "Heartbeat" because of Taec's scene on Vincenzo and the rest is history. While Taec is my ultimate bias, I love all of them and as a Hottest, I will never say that one is better than the other. They are all exceptional, each with his own talents and skills, such that 2PM won't be 2PM without any of the OT6.
That's the incredible thing about 2PM. Usually idol groups are put together because the members are similar and the new groups tend to sound the same (just look at Produce 101). Whereas 2PM members have distinctive voices, looks/visuals, dance styles and musical preferences (reflected in their composition contributions). Rather than a very prominent single fandom color each member has their own color which is very rare in K-pop. The members are highlighted as individuals and started doing solo projects very early into their careers (which is also not common in K-pop). But somehow they as individial pieces fit together into this puzzle and it helps that they are real life besties and have a great group dynamic and chemistry.
I really agree with you, especially about Jun. K because I really like him too, his vocals immediately made me fall in love when I first heard the opening 'I'll be back'. he is the only strong vocal in this group. heard the story of the beginning of jun. k once planned to debut with 2am, they are a group of people with strong vocals who would be very compatible with jun.k. but what would 2pm be without the power of his vocals. Even 2 agencies accepted him at the same time as YG and JYP, he was very proud

I recently watched Vincenzo and I have been watching Taecyeon's interview . This is the first time I'm watching a 2PM video and I thought I'll be hearing their songs for the first time but it seems that I've listened to all these songs without knowing that they were from 2PM . I'm definitely stanning them now.
That's probably the biggest compliment to 2PM. They have hits with signature choreo that even casual K-pop fans know and/or have heard before. Many artists go through their careers without a work that is associated with them or is very well-known.
