I have a few of her cd's. And I did read the book. And was terribly surprised. She's very open!

With all due respect, that flippant attitude stopped her career. Grace, kindness, and respect helps careers.

For better or worse, I don’t think people like Bettye can or even should quell their natural character, even when it gets them into trouble or loses them opportunities. Things will happen when they’re meant to happen if you’re true to yourself.

Thank you her attitude is so nasty and above it all I always wish to be the interviewer to tell her it's over and her voice isn't all that it's crazy

When you are your authentic self, your path will be different, but it will be YOUR path. I enjoy her music. Her and her music are a treasure.

@GMAMEC I think you're correct, if you'd read the book. She spills all the tea. I think she's a fabulous singer. But of course, she's a little cocky.
