It’s fair to say Tatum and Brown have the most impact on the all-around game. Offense, defense, rebounding, and just versatility. But who can dominate a game the most? Please…..not even close. Luka and Kyrie can keep a team in a game even if the entire rest of the team is shitting the bed. Either one can put up a 20pt quarter when it’s needed. They can draw so much attention that every other player becomes a weapon. Most of all they make the team press-proof. Either one can break the press single handed and turn a pressure defense into a fast-break. Tatum and Brown can’t do any of that.
LOL there's two sides of the game. Luka and Kyrie are excellent on one end and liabilities on the other. Best offensive duo, they can have that title. Best overall? Nahhh, it's the Jays.
@@gerardrazulcarim4922 you know it’s funny how everybody keeps shitting on Luka over his performance in the NBA finals on defense. If you stop using the narrative that the media tried to create and actually use common sense you’ll find that the truth is kind of surprising. Tatum and Brown spent almost every game going at Luka because they considered it a defensive mismatch and yet the two of them finished the series at 7ppg BELOW their season average and the Celtics were 20 PPG below their team average. Meanwhile, the two of them (considered elite defenders) did most of the guarding of Luka and he averaged 29/10/6. Yet here you are telling me what great defenders they are and how bad Luka is. It’s weird because he had a pretty good series, albeit below his efficiency level, but they were bad on points and efficiency. So who did a better job defensively in the series? I mean if you can find any proof that Luka did a bad job defensively that cost his team, feel free to provide it. I’ve been arguing with Boston fanboys for four months and there hasn’t been a single one capable of making a coherent argument other than that Luka looked bad to them on defense so therefore he must be bad. Kind of like talking points for re tards.
Zach Edey game 1 fouled out in 14 mins and had 4 points. I’m an IU alum so a natural born PU hater, but in modern day NBA I don’t see how he can possibly ever play 30+ mpg consistently over a long NBA season and 2-3 month title run. In a bad draft though him going 9th not the worst thing in the world. PS my most fun guys to ever watch Bird (84-88 amazing then he hurt in his back in 88-89) MJ Hakeem Reggie Miller (season tickets great seats since 87-88 his rookie yr…PS Curry’s fav player growin up was Reggie Miller and then Steve Nash after that and he says his game is a mix of both) LeBron Jokic Nash & Curry both fun to watch as well and Luka/Ant/SGA making his way up that list. Wemby too. PS SGA & Luka both made first team all nba under .500 in 22-23 (Luka didn’t even make top10 play in and OKC didn’t make top8 playoffs). All NBA is an individual thing and always has been. Usually you can’t be on a 20-30 win team but if your team wins 31-40 games you def (historically) make All NBA teams still. LeBron last yr was actually robbed of 2nd team all nba when he was higher to much higher then Durant Kawhi in EPM (6th), BPM (6th), PER and only he Luka Jokic averaged 25+ 7+ 7+. He also lead NBA in 4th quarter PPG last yr. AD & LeBron both deserved 2nd team All NBA last yrs. It’s not their fault they had a bottom 5 owner/GM/coach & 3-15 roster. LeBron was also top7 of all all stars last yr in OnOff. This year will be more interesting as he’s in yr 22, most mins ever, better coaching, they should play him less mpg. I could see 3rd team this yr or not making it all come down to that 65 game minimum.
🚨Two major issues with this podcast!!!!🚨 1. How can you do a slew of nba superlatives without talking about anything defensively?! 2. Legler listing 30 players for All-NBA contention without saying Bam Adebayo is mad disrespectful. True insanity!
Boston….😂😂😂😂😂 Holiday (not good enough for Milwaukee), White (definition of pretty good), Brown (offensively okay when he’s not dribbling out of bounds), Tatum (2nd tier), Horford (ancient and aging fast). You think that’s better then Dallas’ new lineup? Have you seen Lively in the preseason??? Luka (best offensive player in the league), Kyrie (best ball handler in the league and the same points as Tatum), Thompson (still decent defensively and a very good shooter), Washington (very good defender and a better 3pt shooter than Brown), and Lively (better rim protector and now with a hook shot and floater that makes him far more dangerous). Boston can’t touch that starting 5.
@@gerardrazulcarim4922 it’s funny that you’re so stupid you believe that. They completely threw away any chance at historical significance by losing by the third most points in NBA history just so they can celebrate at home? Evidently you think the Boston Celtics are functionally re tarded. The total points for the series was 508-496. Two games were seven points wins for Boston and in both of them Dallas had it down to one possession with under two minutes left but were unable to close. Remind me again what the series would’ve been if Boston had lost those two close games? It’s fine that they won, Dallas wasn’t ready because of weaknesses on the floor that they got rid of during the summer. if you think adding 338% or higher three points shooters who all play defense isn’t going to be an improvement on the team they had last year then you’re admitting you don’t know anything about basketball.
I think he has a good chance to be rookie of the year but I really don’t think he’ll be a 20ppg scorer immediately he’ll probably average like 14 points but we’ll see.
One last one…evidently you slept through last season. Curry was 32nd in the league from 3. I hate it when people genuflect based on reputation. Durant is FAR better at this point (and always has been, as evidenced by his insanely consistent career shooting and scoring numbers). Talk to me after Curry gets back to 43%-44%. When his 3pt shot isn’t falling he’s just useless because he doesn’t like going closer to the basket where there might be contact. Do you want to know how you can tell EVERYONE is aware of his dropoff? The slobbering over his Olympic performance. 6 games, 13ppg at the LOWEST SHOOTING PERCENTAGE ON THE TEAM! And people like this knucklehead ignored 4 bad games, then based on the last 2 says he’s still the best shooter in the league…..when everyone on the team shot over 50% EXCEPT HIM! 2nd team all-NBA? Average reb & assist numbers and 32nd in the league in 3pt% (while the healthiest he’s been in 7 seasons)…if he’s on the all-NBA team on 3rd string it’s an embarrassment. It’s like I’m living in clown world and I’m the only one noticing. 🙄
I would put this Celtics starting 5 against Raptors 2019 team & they don't line up. Marc Gasol.alone would make KP a non factor. I think NBA media disrespect how deep that team was & the gauntlet of run they had to get to the Finals. People just love to.talk about KD & Klay injuries, when in fact Raptors beat that team fully healthy in the regular season w/ Kawhi missing 1 gm.

Last season really ruined understanding of the game even for such experienced analyst as Legs. BOS top-2 ain't good duo. At least Adam saved the day. Oh wait, he has Jamal Murray who is top-50 player as part of the top due. You guys...have to disagree
6:23 what on earth is he on about. Saying they aren’t a duo and he’s unsure if brown and Tatum can elevate a team like they haven’t made conference finals almost every year with numerous different teammates. It’s fine if you think someone else is better but that reasoning isn’t valid at all

Agree that the warriors could be really good this year.
If Ja Morant n Steven Adams weren’t a duo, I don’t think Morant and Edey can be one
Best in the biz
25:10 tbf in the gm survey you’re not allowed to pick someone on your own team, so the Warriors gm can’t pick Curry
Joker is the best passer. LeBron is an all-timer too. Then Luka. Then Haliburton. Unless I'm mistaken Tatum had more assists in the Finals than Luka.
bam or jimmy for all nba 3rd team this season. that’s my hot take on the awards
Trae young is a great passer should've been mentioned
Gotta get Tim on DNVR
tatum bricking 3s is great impact
murray and jokic💀
Celtics in 4 is the only prediction that matters
The Celtics didn't get the best competition from the West?! Why did Legler pick Mavs to win?
When it comes to duos not mentioning Banchero and Wagner down in Orlando is criminal 😅💯
hahahahha
Hali best passer, hands down!!
Also Orlando has a top 5 starting 5 for sure
Nah
They are definitely the most mid
@@nicholaseaster58 name 5 better starting lineups...
Devin Booker is making All-NBA over one of those guys. Idk who, but somebody
Wait, Mike Breen won't be calling games?!
🚨Two major issues with this podcast!!!!🚨
1. How can you do a slew of nba superlatives without talking about anything defensively?!
2. Legler listing 30 players for All-NBA contention without saying Bam Adebayo is mad disrespectful. True insanity!
No, rebounding is not a defensive stat
That's a 5 chili pepper 🌶️ hot take in Memphis. I have a similar. Memphis over OKC and Minnesota in the west. Dallas 1 Denver 2 Memphis 3
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Difference between a hot take and delusion
@@BestShootermanUbz predicting when delusion plays out is definitely tough.
Why not just pick all the ball hogging guards for the NBA teams. All NBA shouls be center, 2 forwards and 2 guards. Not 4 guards.
Does Tim ever not say something perfectly?
If jojo plays 65 he’ll be 1st team. But I doubt it
Jamal falling off tho, he would be average without jokic so idk if I would call them the best duo.
Fake girl
Boston….😂😂😂😂😂
Holiday (not good enough for Milwaukee), White (definition of pretty good), Brown (offensively okay when he’s not dribbling out of bounds), Tatum (2nd tier), Horford (ancient and aging fast).
4-1, with 1 as gift coz Cs want to celebrate at home. LOL
100% we had an easy run. we also didnt play our best ball between kps injury n tatums shooting struggles
That's why Cs are scary this season. Hoping for 70 wins or more + 2nd chip this season
Edey will be roy and better on offense than wemby.
Wemby is already a 20+ppg scorer and odds on favorite to win dpoy. I’m excited for Edey but pump the brakes brother lol
@karsonrivers9880 I said better on offense. Wemby is definitely superior on d.
@@yahooyatesstill wrong!
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
I think he has a good chance to be rookie of the year but I really don’t think he’ll be a 20ppg scorer immediately he’ll probably average like 14 points but we’ll see.
The Jasons the best duo in the nba? Stop it lets be serious. I like and have high appreciation for leg opinion but this was a ridiculous take.
Ion like the ant over jt take lol. We’ll see
ANT is overrated I’d pick Booker over ant
You’ll get a pass today because you picked the cel to da to lose last year.
In terms of top end talent Giannis and Dame have to be the top duo - IF Dame can return to 22-23 dame levels.
It’s crazy how overrated Anthony Edwards is
Scottie Barnes is a very good passer.
I would put this Celtics starting 5 against Raptors 2019 team & they don't line up. Marc Gasol.alone would make KP a non factor. I think NBA media disrespect how deep that team was & the gauntlet of run they had to get to the Finals. People just love to.talk about KD & Klay injuries, when in fact Raptors beat that team fully healthy in the regular season w/ Kawhi missing 1 gm.
top 5 starting 5:
bos
okc
ny
phi
min
Mavs for sure top 3
@@windmill2517 starting 5 ? idk. lively pj n klay might literally be worse than all 25 of the guys starting on the teams i listed
hart conley martin ubre prob the only ones id be willing to have a discussion abt mayybe lively can reach a level higher t han jmac but itd require a jump from lively
YT guys glazing Jokic non stop lol most overrated player who will never ever make it to the Finals ever again lol
The #1 duo in the NBA is Luka and Kyrie...and it is not even close. Denver is washed, LA is a joke, and Boston won't make it past the first round of the playoffs.
After all this time you still believing what hypocrisy did you just write? Luka ain't it, Kyrie ain't it, both are one trick ponies without any ounce of D
Go mavs brother
I don’t even see Jayson and Jalen as a duo. They seem to just tolerate each other. Meanwhile Luka and Kyrie call each other brothers, play really well together, and Luka is the second best player in the NBA. They have so much chemistry no other duo even comes close. They didn’t even mention them 😂
hahahahaha
Well, I was very wrong about LA and Boston.
Last season really ruined understanding of the game even for such experienced analyst as Legs. BOS top-2 ain't good duo. At least Adam saved the day. Oh wait, he has Jamal Murray who is top-50 player as part of the top due. You guys...have to disagree
Who is your top duo?
2nd comment.
6:23 what on earth is he on about. Saying they aren’t a duo and he’s unsure if brown and Tatum can elevate a team like they haven’t made conference finals almost every year with numerous different teammates. It’s fine if you think someone else is better but that reasoning isn’t valid at all
ridiculous
Actually that was the whole reason I agreed with him which is rare I agree with him. They aren’t a true duo
@@kylebushnell2601You clowns move the goalposts every time Tatum and Brown do whatever you last said they couldn’t do. What a sorry way to look at the best two players on the best team in the league.
Analytically bankrupt, that’s what you are.
@@kylebushnell2601Lol so that’s where the goalposts are now? Tatum and Brown aren’t legit because they’re not a ‘true duo’ 🤡🤡🤡
