It was a pretty unique game but honestly I felt it suffered a bit from 2 problems, the first being that the difficulty range between levels was all over the place, if you're new to the game and aren't using any guides, you've got no way of telling how difficult each level is going to be. and the second being that the final boss was way too easy, the game builds him up so much yet compared to the other enemies you face in the game he didn't seem that powerful.
A detail that I like about Ninja is how he slowly controls himself with the Rage Stones throughout the game. When he gets the Berserk Stone, he goes ballistic and kills his Master because it was too much for him to handle. When he gets the Revive Stone, he still goes ballistic but tries his hardest to control his rage, almost killing Yang the same way he killed his Master. After obtaining the Shuriken Stone, he still rages at first but calms down fairly quickly. After obtaining the Invincibility Stone, he goes ballistic again (since that stone belongs to O-Dor and being the strongest stone) but quickly calms down again. And finally when he gets the Stone of Life, he is not even affected by it. On a side note, Ninja's battle cry at 2:41 is amazing.

Would love this to be but on the playstation store for 10 dollars and advertised in the hopes Namco brings it back because mascot games are kinda coming back in style
