LOVED this game when I was a teenager. Whenever I'd had a bad day working at the mall, I would head down to the arcade, pop in a few quarters, and unleash my inner Dirty Harry! Always felt better on the way home.
in the year that the title was launched the Boeing 757 was in production years later in 2004 the production is finised because of competition from Airbus A-321 and few sales were made 1050 aircraft included 55 of the elongated version 300 series min 11:57
Thanks so much for posting this. I really like this game. So glad your posts come from a real PCB, it's very annoying to find 99% come from MAME or other emulators which can sometimes have some graphics glitches that don't accurately portray the game in it's full glory.
Min 11:57 Boeing 757-200 from American Trans Air Min 13:36 min 16:43 Pratt & Whitney PW2040 engine of Boeing 757-200 the model is sold with two models of engines (Rolls Royce RB211 and Pratt &Whitney PW2040)
I remember my neighbor was a cop and he said they actually used this game for training, (not serious training but trigger discipline) then I heard from the fbi to local police departments were using this game as training. Could be a total lie. The random people who show up, the innocents really give trigger discipline. You don’t wanna shoot an innocent person. The cops who unloaded on that poor ups truck in Miami and killed that worker, (along with the suspects) needed to play this game. Lol
Do you know which PCB revision this footage is from? I noticed the behaviour of the gunship boss on stage 5 is different to UAE 11/19/92 - the pilot opens the canopy before the weapons are destroyed, and it also seems possible to stun him by shooting him.
Loved this game back in the early 90's. If I had a bad day at work, I'd just drive to the mall, toss a few arcade tokens in, and unleash my inner Dirty Harry!
and for its time and the use of realistic photographs, it was a cheaper alternative to Laserdisc shooters like Mad Dog McCree which were very expensive and very demanding due to their hardware conking out from time to time.

I always used to shoot out the tires in the chase parts.
And about 5 bullets in the trunk of any car would set the gas tank on fire!
WE HAVE THE BUILDING SURROUNDED, COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!!

@@figment1988 Photographs?! The animation was so smooth it's like real-life filming!
@@figment1988 And in a way, better, this feels way better to play thanks to that.
Police 911 is a spin-off of this game.
Game wouldn't get within miles of existence nowadays...
Life lesson learned from the game: When there's a shootout, don't stand up!
They had an innocent victim at a boss!?!? That is some bullshit.
Good job. Seems the game is very difficult for a time back in the day.
