    A physical confrontation between a furry in actual furry costume attire and a neckbeard over a nerd game would have been quite the thing to witness

    If the YuGiOh guy is reading this, don't feel bad at all. My ex used to organise a locals and this sort of thing happened all the time, they were good to let you play another kid outwith the tournament if you had banlist stuff, print outs and fakes. People who don't play YuGiOh might think that it's sweaty the quibbling over banlist cards but it's there for a reason and if you're at a locals event, however small, everyone has to be on the same page with their allowed cards.
    Also as someone who has been on the periphery of furry for many years (without necessarily owning the label myself) I can confidently say that anyone who wears furry costume stuff (like ears, tails or lanyards) outside of a furry fandom meet up or event most likely DOES have some issues or is at the very least attention-seeking. The chill furries? You wouldn't even know they are to look at them.

    Just chiming in on the argument of a Space Marine vs Master Chief:
    A Space Marine could easily beat Chief in a stand-up fight. He is stronger that Chief, better-trained than Chief, and is at least as fast as Chief. UNSC small arms would be useless against ceramite.
    This is not at all to say that Chief fighting a Space Marine is a losing situation: Chief was able to survive five Halo games through a combination of cunning, resourcefulness, and luck against aliens which are physically superior to the baseline human. Chief would be a frustratingly difficult opponent for the Space Marines, and if they did manage to defeat Chief their K/D ratio would most certainly be less than 1 to some degree.

    Okay, Im a Space Wolf player that is guilty of angrily throwing dice in a fit of rage one time. In my defense, I threw the dice in the garbage can, not my opponent's models and my opponent was playing Ynnari scat bike range d weapon spam which was the meta list at the time.

    15:20 that’s a hell of a lot of trust that guy placed in the breaker… It could have gone so much worse, with him picking up the model then proceeding to slam it two handed on the floor, obliterating it, as I’ve seen happen quite a few times over the decades… (Bjorn, Abaddon, Landraider Crusader, and an Eldar Knight)

      @northernexile I'm mainly asking this cause I want my homebrew spacemarines to be blanks but in a non lore breaking way or atleast give off a similar effect the basic premise is they despise demons , pyskers and the warp so much that they give of a effect similar to blankness when around warp tainted things or people.

      From previous Nightmares it sounds like they're more chill in the USA about in-store games as well. It's a real shame that GW has become so sterile inside, they used to have beautiful tables in our local one and it was cool how there was always a game of some sort going on in there.

    I can agree that some furries have mental issues, but I don't think they all do. Like some of the people in the Hobby, there are some that everyone just wishes they'd stay home. I've met the typical neckbeards, the stereotype furries, and some weird extremes from Comicons and Anime fans. Most of us just want the weirdoes to just stay home, that and the gross ones.

    • @jensablefur155
      @jensablefur155 3 месяца назад +1

      I can confidently say that someone in public outside of a furry meet up or group just randomly wearing accessories like tails and ears almost certainly has something going on mentally.
      For younger people like teenagers, the expo/comicon nerd crowd of 15-20 year olds, this might just be kawaii attention-seeking but if some dude rocks up to a 40K session in ears and a tail there is definitely something going on there. I've been in and around the periphery of furry for over 10 years and I think I've only ever seen someone wearing the outfit stuff like a tail maybe twice in public, outside of the context of a furry meet-up. As a behaviour this is rare to see "in the wild" and most of the furries people will have met will just be average nerds to look at them.

    • @KyrasTheMoontamer
      @KyrasTheMoontamer 3 месяца назад

      @@jensablefur155 There is always the potential for someone who wears minor accessories to have something mental wrong with them for sure, but I cannot agree that it would be all of them. Being in and around it myself off and on, you do meet a lot of people. I imagine some of them are confident in their enjoyment of the culture, no different than people who wear excessive nerd or anime culture items. It could also just be a comfort thing.
      Now There is always a chance they do, but you could say that for people who cosplay as they play their favorite games at shops and the like. I suppose though that age range does play a factor like you have mentioned and most people I have seen wearing the minor accessories have been younger than their mid 20s. But it still doesnt mean that all of them have mental issues whether they wear the stuff or not.
