I got my violin just a week ago,as u can see i am a complete beginner.but i wanted to try this for a close friend of mine for his birthday.Of all the youtube videos, yours is so easy to understand and i can almost play it with some hiccups.i'll have to practice some more though and i hope to do better before his birthday next week.thank you so much for this video.you are an amazing teacher

I actually didn't know Johnny Cash did a song titled that lol. I just meant the original nursery rhyme as follows : You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray, you never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away. I don't know what music is in the song originally, but I thought that maybe you could play the violin according to the keys or tone of the words and just explain what notes to hit to make it sound like the song? I've actually been practicing your Happy Birthday video by the way : ]

It sure looks difficult to me. The piano seems easy to me but harder to other people. I guess it depends on what instruments you learned when younger. I learned accordion from age 6 but not piano until 22. Best wishes from Texas and have a great day 🎼 🎹🎼🙏
