Thanks bro! Hahah - there aren’t many 1ers on RUclips with modified headlights. Also, your vids were definitely inspo for me so perhaps I subconsciously was drawn to a similar style 😜
It's not actually translucent, its a black w/ silver premium plate. I think they must coat the black in something reflective so that the white part stands out? I remember seeing another car with a similar style so thats what influenced my choice
Where are you from? $15k AUD is $10k USD or 8000 pounds. Now days to buy the same spec car with the original kilometre (mileage) would be $25-$30k AUD!
@@ElliottBrooks I'm in Sydney. I'm a bit surprised if any E82 is still over $25k. Depreciation has been kind, since maintenance cost can be high as well.
@@helixworld ok yeah nice. Check out carsales. It had 80,000km when I got it for $15k. COVID really pumped up the prices and they haven’t come down properly yet
There’s two different apps in this video. The first is MHD, which is performance tuning software that can also check for errors. The second is protools by bimmergeeks which is for more coding and I believe might be more thorough at checking errors.
I bought the parts quite a while ago and prices have risen since. Today's prices are approx: $2,750 USD / $4,200 AUD for the Injectors. $180 USD / $270 AUD for Coil Packs. $85 USD / $130 AUD for the spark plugs. If you don't mind paying a bit extra, FCP Euro is a good place to buy, otherwise eBay (Links in the video description above) will likely be cheaper
@@ElliottBrooks i can tell you that because, i have index 07 all around, beside 1 injector gone wrong, put an index 12 instead. It work flawlessly since 2 years ;)
I'm guessing 5DF0 5DF1 codes? Happened to me where the brushes in DSC pump get stuck stopping the pump from spinning. Just buy an later model pump where they fixed this issue 09+ usually $300-350 swap it out and code. Straight forward imo
Yeah I think that’s a good call. Are all N55 LCI models? Which model are you in? For me it really depends whether I will go big power route - but for the majority I would say N55 is easier
N55's have other issues like needing an aftermarket oil baffle in the oil housing to prevent oil starvation on tight cornering. look it up and you will find its a common issue that grenades the N55's if you track them or even drive more aggressive in the corners
Great vid my friend, had to double take the thumbnail as I thought it was my car 😂

Thank you for the very kind words. I am happy that my content is able to help people like you
Awesome job mate, I have an N55 135i down here in Melbourne and really enjoying your content...thanks buddy and keep positive 🙂
Awesome - I'm glad the content is well received :) Make sure to subscribe if you haven't already!
hey bro, how did you get your number plates translucent?

Well Done Mate! getting better at making the videos .
Thanks for the kind feedback. I’m trying to make them more enjoyable so I’m glad the effort is being noticed
Awesome vid mate and thanks for showing us the process :)
Thanks for the support! I’m hoping if I can help someone out there in a similar situation, it’s all worthwhile
Great work man
Thank you! This one was a big job. Do you have a 135i yourself or just enjoying the content?
Have you got any more 135i content coming out anytime soon?
Funny you ask. Filming some at the moment. Life has got in the way until recently!
@ElliottBrooks that happens. But it's good to hear you have more content on the way. Really enjoy watching your vids
Is 15,000 really cheap for one of these? How much do you need to pay for well maintained one from 2010 onwards?

I'm in the same boat bro, I bought a N54 E92 with the DCT box got 14k
Oh nice. Those are rare! I would’ve liked a DCT N54. Is that USD or AUD? $15k AUD is about $10k USD
What head unit you using there bro?
If you check out my channel you can see a video on it and a link to purchase in the description of that video

u dont care if index injectors are not the same on the bank. Since you code them.
Yes of course coding helps with matching the flow rates - but there has been speculation that some index don’t work with others even when coded
