    If you get burned, take the noni leaf, rinse it and rub olive oil on the top side. Wrap the olive oil leave around the burned area. The leaf extracts the burn feel instantly. I used this method when I was burned and was able to sleep and that burning feel that you get under your skin, you will not feel, once you have the noni leaf wrapped around the burn.

    In Thailand we call it Yoa, in thai Yoa means "praise" many people like to plan the tree around their house for its good auspicious name. We also eat its fruit and leaf, the fruit doesn't have many edible part but the leaf is very delicious. We use the leaf for wrapping food such as chicken, fish, bamboo shoot, banana blossom, and put it on steam, Yoa's leaf unique smell will get into the ingredients while they are getting steam. I promise you, it's one of the kind, nothing smell like it and taste like it.
    if you happen to have Yoa around house please try to eat it and you will like it.
    ps. the meat of the fruit can be use for salad just like papaya salad but personally I dont like it

Both are more savory fruits and not typically what one in the West first identifies as "fruit" but people often learn to love them (or at least tolerate them).

    The leaves are medicine for us. Cut thin n fry with catfish flesh-meat.sometimes we put fish or lobsters or shrimp, riceflour, onion bamboo shoot or banana bud oil salt red pepper n some others tasteful hot n spicy ingredients pack all these n steam or cook it. Its myanmar's favourite food.

      In Guyana we drink the juice for diabetes and the sap from fruit after juice is extracted is good to put on ulcers. The smell is awful but if you want to get well you will use it.

    • @TrulyTropical
      @TrulyTropical  6 лет назад

      In the seed aspect, it's a bit similar to sugar apple...
      What makes it hard to eat is the smell and taste
