That’s the best model I’ve ever seen of 1701! The detail the lights especially love the view of the bridge. Very reminiscent the opening scene of Star Trek the cage bridge zoom in, and the shuttle bay looks phenomenal
I just sold one on Ebay last month for $2250, I've seen them go for $2500 and that number will probably grow the longer you hold on to it. It's still been under a year since Tomy first shipped them, so the trajectory has been spectacular on this model. I've got a second to sell, but I think that one will be sold several years from now and we'll see how the market evolves. What's great is the one I keep for myself didn't cost me a dime.
Superb model. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. Really like the weathering effect. Please do not leave the batteries in the model for long term since all batteries now day leak.
This is a beautiful model of the USS Enterprise 1701. Excuse me for asking this question, was it created by you or did you buy it? If you bought it from which site? Thank you
In the description, it reads TOMY Enterprise. This is a die cast model/toy. (It was a crowd funded project that needed so many people to pay up first. Then, if they got enough people and money, they would make this.) Fortunately, they got enough. So, TOMY Toys built , lit, and painted this beauty. They only made enough for those who paid in advance.
You’re displaying the model perfectly. In 1 million years, I would never make a model with the lights working with that much detail. I imagine it’s a few hundred dollars maybe? How does one order one?
Price wás USD $600, but sold out quickly. Look closely, though, at its flaws: Major seams all over. The bridge with a clear plastic dome? Not canon, and also misaligned. Impulse engines wrong color. And other things....
Question, overhead view of the secondary hull, towards the rear above the shuttle bay, is that a long light-leak crack on the back? Overall it's beautiful, but I hadn't seen that angle before so I'm curious.
Yes there are some seems here and there, I'm going to address this on my final review and reveal of the custom saucer section support element I built. 🙂
I never really noticed how pronounced the bridge was on top of the saucer Pretty stupid design considering not only the known enemies out there, but the unknown ones as well. Talk about presenting a Target on a platter
Yeah of course the engines are very quiet They're not real I would have laughed my ass off if you nudged it with the camera by accident and knocked it over into pieces I like Star Trek and Star wars just as much as the next guy Some people really be taking this shit way too seriously No shit the engines are quiet... Cuz they're not really engines On the other hand however It's very nice model Cool beans
Most people who build a fully lit Enterprise will use motors for the spinning lights in the nacelles. They tend to be pretty noisy motors. This just used a different, quieter method. It has nothing do to with whether they are real or not.

Many thanks!
Wow that is a really impressive piece! Screen quality in every way!
Just perfect. Very very nice!!!
It is very beautiful and as I am not a good model kit builder I am pretty sure I would make a mess of a Polar lights one.
Put something under the base to tilt up the whole ship to change the center of gravity on the saucer section.

Crowd funded for a limited time. 😊
That's fantastic! I am suffering severe envy

Lovely model but the seams let it down .

Weird. 😊
