Your last reaction to him sent me down the Tim Minchin rabbit hole. I love this guy now. Thanks for bringing him to my attention. Great reaction as always!
Most Aussies live in the cities along the coast, so we're not exactly dealing with dangerous creatures ourselves lol. I guess we're not religious because it's not a big part of our culture. Obviously it exists in subcultures, but we can ignore those. I have read that the more hopeless life is, the more people turn to religion to try to manufacture hope, so maybe we just have it too good here?
Hello from Australia! Tim is a local legend - we adore him. You should check out Storm next for a different style. Tim never disappoints. Also for an even more impressive piano performance you should react to Lullaby. You're reactions are so thoughtful. Great job 😊
He’s an international legend. Took my kids to see Mathilda years ago - amazing. Only mean thing I’ve ever heard him say was on never mind the buzzvocks, about Kylie, but even that makes him a real human. ❤👍🏽👍☘️

I had a large discussion with someone the other day who was a Christian. I asked them why they were a Christian. He gave me an answer which I expected. He was surprised when I told him he was wrong. I asked him what religion his parents were, his grandparents, what was the main religion of the area he came from? I said to him "that is why you are a Christian". I continued by saying that if he had been born to Muslim parents from a Muslim family in a Muslim area he would be a staunch Muslim! What religion people are tends to be (there are exceptions, some folks do change their religion but they are in the minority)dependent on birth and environment.
Tim's not assuming they're lying, the point he's making is that there are other possible explanations. A religious person might hear about an amazing occurrence and immediately attribute it to God, as if that's the only possibility. While the atheist is more likely to consider that there could be other explanations. Here Tim lists a bunch of possibilities, including that the reporters of the 'miracle' could simply be lying.
There are even more atheists in the UK (5th highest percentage of non believers in the world) and we have zero dangerous animals. What we do have is the ability to think for ourselves, to question the accepted norms and to take responsibility for our own lives without needing a god to blame. Just like the Aussies (of whom I would expect no less)!
You're some kind of believer to not see the wonderful sarcasm in this song. Love it. How self-important people must think they are. Our planet is like a grain of sand in the Sahara and to think that some creator of the universe, inifinity in all directions, would even notice our existance is totally comical. And then to think that with all the horrors in the world, this all knowing, all loving, all powerful would fix your mother's eyesight is hysterical.
Loved hearing your thoughts for both sides. Tim nailed every reason why I'm Atheist in the first place, but like I said in your other video, I do see the positives in religion for the individual only. Some people need that belief to cope and make it through life. It becomes a problem when others are being hurt for the sake of religion, whether mentally or physically. Living in fear of an omnipotent God who clearly has a pretty twisted sense of humor is not a way I'd like to live my one single life that I have (as far as I know). If the world heals and innocent children stop dying of diseases every day, innocent animals stop being abused, and natural disasters stop taking the lives and homes of families, maybe I'll start to believe in something greater than us.
No, as long as the concept of an eternal hell exists there is no upside to the Christian cult. Do you honestly have any idea just how many people are deeply scarred and genuinely traumatised because of this horrific concept?
Really enjoyed this reaction. A lot of wisdom in the discussion. Atheism is Australia has probably more to do with it's British colonial roots than venomous creatures. The UK has often led the way in facilitating scientific invention and discovery (eg. Newton, Darwin etc), with a strong emphasis on not only tolerating but encouraging critical thinking, freedom of expression and the rights of the individual. It is no coincidence that there is a strong correlation between atheism and the education/freedoms that a country enjoys.
There is scientific evidence for love in the form of observed/measurable/recorded changes in brain activity and biochemistry when people fall in love, are shown pictures of loved ones, are asked to think about those they love, etc. Nice reaction and breakdown my friend.
Another song I'm pretty sure you'll like is "White Wine in the Sun". Cynical atheist here, but this my all time favourite Christmas song. Fantastic reaction and insightful and measured discussion. This is one of my favourite Tim songs and performances. Tim makes so many points i have pondered since a very young age., yet he articulates them much better than i ever could. And his piano and musical expression is so good! Will now need to find your previous Tim reactions...thanks yt algorithm for not showing in my feed or daily searches till now... it's a miracle!

Sorry to contradict you but approx 60,000 Aussies died in WW1, 40,000 in WW2, hundreds of thousands were injured and they have been involved in other conflicts too. Aussies never fail to stand up and be counted when it matters and the sacrifice made by many deserves to be remembered. ❤
I posted this link on another reaction "Prejudice", but if you want a song that shows how Tim is a really nice bloke, The Aeroplane will lift your spirits. ruclips.net/video/VCYzau2xato/видео.html
lol 😂 and I live surrounded by bush life and of course every knows snakes and spiders are surrounding the house but if we don’t bother them they won’t bother Us. Tim has done a talk about confirmation bias
Your perception is spot on. The eye makeup is explained in his song "So fckn rock". If you search for that song title you will get it, however I think you would better enjoy the short clip from a documentary about his early album and tour called "So Rock". The eye makeup is explained at the 2 minute mark ruclips.net/video/afMIysJtyYk/видео.html This will then prepare you for watching two of his awesome songs called "Rock n Roll Nerd" and "Dark Side". You comment about the language chosen "Mentally ill person with an audience" makes me think you'll love his live performance of his beat poem, "Storm"
Storm isn't even the best beat poem that showcases this, Its actually Angry (feet). It is much darker and unhinged, it's genius but it is definitely darker than storm

while i was watching this my brother called round and asked if this was a frank zappa video! don't know if you take that comparison as a good or bad thing, but i happen to be a huge fan :) big love to all people :)
It is also important to keep in mind that it is perfectly possible to be very spiritual without being religious. Personally, I tend to view true spirituality as being anathema to religion. Especially to organised religion.
Tim is an absolutely amazing human, musician and comedian. More Tim. Best anti war song - Paul Brady, the island (cartoon version). Old song, but opens with the bleeding trees of Lebanon - you’ll dig ❤️👍🏽👍☘️ Love your reaction
Perfect reaction bro. So insightful.I thought when I seen this YES i recommended it but maybe wasnt me haha. Broke down with great knowledge and insight and hey what should we follow ? YOU even if its only on the tubes. Lots more Tim to come i hope and more importantly your take on it all. Bravo. Recomendations ? Maybe not a reaction but 9 Life Lessons - Tim Minchin UWA Address and for reaction a lovely live performance non controversial. TIM MINCHIN - THE AEROPLANE (FEAT. ASMARA FEIK) - LIVE AT THE PALACE FORESHORE
And my problem with the bible is that if God is omnipresent and omniscient he knew that most people would live a life of hardship before creation. How do we have free will if God has always known every decision that we will ever make
Evil isn’t a thing - people do things - a psychopath with with poor nurture is probably more likely to do localised bad shit, than a privately educated one, who will climb a corporate ladder, with not a jot of compassion for other human beings - doing more global damage than Dammer, Fritzel, West and Hitler ( not a psychopath, rather, a driven narcissist). I in Withnail - just thoughts man 😂😂❤
Maybe a genius is someone who don't play safe (wink wink), you'll understand this if you react to the song (and amazing video) of Play it Safe, the song he wrote for the 50th anniversary of the Sidney Opera House. Gives me chills everytime.
Tim has debated both Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand and has received the Dawkins award so he is a quite dedicated intellectual atheist. He attended a private Christian school growing up so it was an intellectual considered change in position to become an atheist.
The problem of evil predates what we would understand as atheism, and some version of it has vexed religious scholars and theologians since at least the time of The Buddha.
Found and subscribed to your channel from a search for this song. Really enjoyed your reaction. I have to disagree with you about nonreligiosity being connected to a harsh environment though. I live in rural Alabama and we have alligators, black widow spiders, brown recluse spiders, rattle snakes, copperheads, cotton mouth moccasins, coral snakes, bears, wild boars, and bobcats. I let my little dog out to do his business one night and he was eaten by a panther! And yet this is one of the most hyper religious places on earth.
Watch Ross Noble, and you'll see "mentally ill" he's a brilliant Newcastle comedian, if there's a hundred tangents Ross can find a thousand manic routes to get there.
Ross ain’t ill, he’s real - Dylan Moran vibe. Went to acting school with Tommy Tiernan in 91, he’s been to the edge, more than Carr, Gervais, and many others - IMRHO
I don't agree with you on the evidence thing. If I said I have an apple in my hand and you said prove it I would prove that I had an apple in my hand by showing you an apple in my hand, however what you are saying is that someone could say in some sort of spiritual way that an apple is in their hand and that would still constitute as evidence.
G'day Mate! As to how many Aussies are atheists? well at the last census 31% chose the "no religion" option... That is up from 29% ten years earlier... Cheers!
On our (Australia) censorship papers their is a list of religions, my children haven't been Christiand but I chose from the list for them and they both, one male the other female are both now Jedi, yes that's right from star wars, they love me for it, when my son was in primary school he asked the head misstess if she could organise someone to teach him the ways of the force during religious instruction classes.
Evidence is spirituality????? So that means buddhism, islam and any other religion is true. You seem to not have an idea what evidence is. It is verifiable repeatable and personal belief is not evidence.
Hey mate -atheist Aussie here. It's a good question - in the last census results were: Christianity (43.9%) No religion (38.9%) Islam (3.2%) Hinduism (2.7%) Buddhism (2.4%) Now interestingly, years previous they did an anonymous national survey with different questions around various topics - religious organisation identification was there, but they actually asked "do you regularly go to places of worship?" - far lower %. but my favourite - "Do you believe in the existence of a deity?" where the result was 84.9% No. Which means even the majority of Aussies that identify as being part of a religion do not believe in god/s. As to why - a newer country, so there is a less embedded/less interrelated relationship of the organisations? It's still there of course, but not for thousands of years, at least. Good constitutionally protected separation of Church and State. Decent public health and social welfare programs, so religion is not the only way for people to get support. Good non-religious education system. A general mistrust of the powerful and wealthy, and anyone telling us what to do/how to think.
and a personal note - My mum calls herself a 'christian' and is a regular churchgoer. I was raised in that church (A very moderate 'love everyone' type church). Critical thinking is what led me to leave. When pressed on the specific issue of her true beliefs - she all but admitted that she doesn't literally believe in the god, but she likes the community and the moral framework of Love. Despite that being a very cherry-picked view of the 'official texts', at least it's not hateful. Dad calls himself a catholic (and ticks catholic on the census) despite being openly agnostic/soft atheist. He just claims he has to tick Catholic because he was baptised. Which is a funny take - as though he has no choice or self-determination.
To me god is similar to the project management principle of “Fast, good, or cheap - pick two" In the god case its "all knowing, all powerful and all good". Only 2 of these can be true.
The lack of evidence is why it is called faith...it has to be faith because there is no hard evidence and there are somany belief ysytems. Tim has a magic way with words and music!
Tim has no problem with people having a religious belief but when Sam seeks him out and isolates him from his friends to push his views forward and provide “evidence” that god is real - you can’t help being cynical and especially when you’re a comedian of his calibre who is also educated to a high standard and has possibly studied theology to quite a high level. He’s just saying “ok that’s your theory so I’ll give you a taste of mine!” 😂
The only thing I would take you to task on is your assumption that religious people would be annoyed - I love Tim (am religious) and think he is hilarious - love him and I believe everyone is entitled to their beliefs or non beliefs - And as a trait of being an Australian or my experience growing up here is that we laugh and make fun of ourselves and are very self depricating because we are very well aware that all institutions and social or governmental organisations that have any human intervention to set up or run are or will be in some way be perverted and corrupted whether they are religious or not. Even my parents who were a lot more religious than me - absolutely loved comedy that poked fun at religion - Dave Allen being a great example of that - they never missed his TV show when it was running. An Irish athiest.
6:12 I felt that same feeling your talking about when I went to a nine inch nails concert when I was 19 years old if I could feel that there isn't that more related to adrenaline than a god or are you just going to claim that I wasn't feeling the same thing even though I was
Got this off google. Evidence: The word evidence comes from the Latin word evidentia, which means "that which is evident". Evidentia is a combination of the Latin words ex and videre. Explanation - Ex: Means "out of" or "from", Videre: Means "to see", "to notice", or "to observe". My opinion: Spiritual evidence refers to that which is felt, experienced personally. Confirmation of spiritual evidence can be drawn from a group of people that agree on a particular dogma, opinion, ideology, etc. Non-spiritual evidence sometimes must be disregarded by groups of people aligned in a particular spiritual belief, so that faith may be preserved. Non-spiritual evidence is that which is observed. Confirmation of non-spiritual evidence can be drawn from a group of people that agree on a particular physical phenomenon that can be documented and falsified. Phenomena that are provably real.
Can the problem of evil and unicorn excrement be resolved? Once you resolve that, I might listen to your explanation of evil and something else being compatible.
This confirmation bias you describe sounds like a more general application of the Placebo Effect. A Treatment works because you believe it to work. The main difference between the types of evidence is that religious people Belief a Higher Power exists. The evidence Atheist are fishing for is an actual ironclad proof of the existence of a higher power which turns belief into knowledge.
I don't believe or disbelieve in a God I'm like him in a way rely on evidence So I do class myself none religion But have no issue's with others believing in a God As long as it's not used to harm others Because for some individuals the believe of a God Makes them a better person then gives comfort and confidence hope So how can that be a bad thing But like everything in life their are those who will abuse it for evil things To manipulate and control certain individuals The other issue I have with it is your ment to practice it for God to love you Otherwise your a sinner and go to hell Which is not quite true as on your death bed you asked for forgiveness think are OK It doesn't matter if your a pedo file paedophile rapes murder or the biggest a hole in the world ect So why would you be a practising religious person making all the sacrifices When you can just repent on your death bed and do what ever good or bad things you'd like As I said I'm not a believer but do see where in certain circumstances it can be a benifit for individuals With that benefiting society as a hole But as I wrote earlier the opposite as well is possible Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Atheists are not the close minded ones. During the Bill Nye (science advocate and atheist), Ken Ham (fundamental biblical literalist and young earth creationist) debate the moderator asked Bill (the atheist) what would change his mind, Bill said "evidence." When the moderator asked Ken what would change his mind, he said, "Nothing." Which of those two sound like they have an open mind? And every atheist I have heard asked this question always says evidence would change their mind. I am an atheist, I do not believe the theistic claim God exists is true. That's not the same as saying it's false. It means I do not accept it's true due to lack of any sufficient evidence. And by sufficient evidence, I mean sufficient in both amount and content. And evidence must be demonstrable and falsifiable. It has to at least have those two properties, or it's worthless. I am not just an atheist. I am also a skeptic. In fact, my atheism is a direct result of me applying skeptism to theological claims. A skeptic does not accept a claim as true until there's sufficient evidence to justify believing the claim is true. I'll believe any claim is true regardless of how silly or crazy the claim is as long as the claimant can provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate the truth of their claim. So I'm open-minded to anything. I just want sufficient evidence. But whenever I debate theists, I ask them what would change their mind, and the vast majority of the time, they say nothing would or could ever make them stop believing in their God. Every once in a great while, a theist will say evidence. To me, it's quite clear which side has the closed mind. The atheist says evidence can change their mind. The theist says nothing can or would change their mind.
Tim has a nice line about „open your mind“ although it‘s not his own line. But good reaction, thx. But please don‘t blame atheist for reacting to the religious shit they are bombarded with sometimes, without asking for it. Btw.: have you done the „Dark side (awesome version)“ already?
It's not about atheists. Ask some scientist what an evidence is. Or some a lawyer. You feeling good because you decided to believe something that you really don't know is not evidence of nothing at all. "Spiritual evidence" is nothing. Believe what you want to believe without knowing, but dont call it "evidence", its intelectually embarrasing.
Could you please interrupt the play a bit more? You're brilliant ability at following the lyrics and storytelling, while introducing your opinions and tangents is astonishing. I appreciate the need for some pauses so as not to violate copyright and I was genuinely interested in your reaction and thoughts, but I got lost with your 'logical loops' and your own version of preaching
«spiritual evidence» is just personal testimony. personal testimony is not in itself verifiable. i can’t read your mind, or feel your feelings. lacking any other demonstation that someone’s personal experience reflects reality, it should probably be taken witha grain of salt. particularly when qualified with a fungable word like «spiritual».
Definition of evidence- especially in this post new atheism era, the atheist rhetoric is, anecdotal or feelings based evidence IS evidence, just not convincing. Just a thought
The 'spiritual' nonsense is just an extension of one of the aspects of humanity that attracts people to religion in the first place 'self importance' and conceit. as in "I am so much better than other people that the god that created the universe wants to spend eternity with me". and "I am so much better than other people that I am 'spiritual' and they are not. It is all part of the celestial richard swinging. It goes along with the; 'I will pray for you because god listens to me' Religion is a way to attract punters based on stroking their ego. This is demonstrated in how they cherry pick the god that suits them from their chosen text. If you told them that god appeared to you and told you to pass on a message that they disagree with, even if there was a god and you were telling the truth they would reject go in favour of their own wishes. They have no way to distinguish between true revelation (if it existed), delusions or simple lies except their own basic desire for the bits they pick are true. Religions are pure lust baiting, nothing more. Spirituality is just a little bit of a religious dopamine boost.
@totoro123 It's not the quality of the discourse, it's the timing and amount. 5 seconds into Tim's act, and we get a 5 minute exposition, (yes, I know I'm exaggerating...but not by much...), about the topic THAT TIM IS JUST ABOUT TO EXPLAIN, if only the video had been allowed to run for 5 seconds more. Discussion and differing viewpoints are FINE, but maybe not continually pre-empt or dissect the topic, before hearing what the artist is going to say. And, if nothing else, it's bloody rude not to listen to a reasonable chunk of the material, (which is primarily meant to entertain), BEFORE reacting to it.
A different understanding of what evidence is, is a mad take that borders on gas lighting tbf. Evidence has a solid locked in definition. Other than that I appreciate your reaction, it's always great to see what people take from Tim's performances. Also I'm not anti-religion, it mostly provides a good moral and ethical framework to live your life, and I'm open to the idea there might be something after death. To come to an understanding based on "evidence" that fills gaps with assumptions or that's open to interpretation can result in less understanding than the initial position.
The venomous animals here in Australia have nothing to do with why we're atheists, it's because we're capable of critical thinking.
yes, thankfully the practice of indoctrinating our children is not as strong here. Still too high, but better than most countries.
The ones who weren't got poisoned
Exactly. Just because humans fear them doesn't mean they're evil. Animals are beautifully neutral. They're innocent. They go by instinct. To survive and protect themselves and their ability to reproduce and that is it.
Atheists are pretty close to the majority here and it's because we're educated
Your last reaction to him sent me down the Tim Minchin rabbit hole. I love this guy now. Thanks for bringing him to my attention. Great reaction as always!
hahah so glad you've been enjoying, im in the same boat with you :)
This is very old Tim, he has not been a comedian for over a decade. He's more focused on serious music and acting now.
look up his commencement speech at UWA. utterly brilliant. :)
So nice to have somebody with intelligence and insight review this video.

Agreed. Dark side Awesome Version - some amazing piano playing.

Wow thank you so kindly :) I'm glad you found this reaction insightful!
Tim actually has a video called "Confirmation Bias"
It's long, but it's amazing and definitely worth watching
I have viewed all 3 of your Tim Minchin reactions. I like your intelligent comments. Looking forward to your future reactions
Minchin is a bit of a modern day Tom Lehrer. Fearless, funny, and if you don't like it, too bad.
And you should check out Tim Minchin on confirmation bias. And his 9 minute beat poem about critical thinking, Storm
I love Tim Minchin!

One of the best reviews I've seen on Tim. Well done!!
What harsh environment? Lol 99% of aussies never think about dangerous wildlife. We have things that can kill you but hardly do
lol 😂 and I live surrounded by bush life and of course every knows snakes and spiders are surrounding the house but if we don’t bother them they won’t bother
Us. Tim has done a talk about confirmation bias
Please do dark side
It showcases Tim’s piano talents

@ my favorite is Mitsubishi Colt, I was lucky enough to see him perform it in a small venue.
The «its a miracle» he says at the end is because he often messes up the lyrics, as you can imagine is inevitable. 🤯

He never said they were lying, he was pointing out other possible explanations.
while i was watching this my brother called round and asked if this was a frank zappa video! don't know if you take that comparison as a good or bad thing, but i happen to be a huge fan :) big love to all people :)
It is also important to keep in mind that it is perfectly possible to be very spiritual without being religious. Personally, I tend to view true spirituality as being anathema to religion. Especially to organised religion.
In answer to your question..in the last national census(2021] in Australia 40% declared “ no religion”..
Tim is an absolutely amazing human, musician and comedian.
More Tim.
Best anti war song - Paul Brady, the island (cartoon version).
Old song, but opens with the bleeding trees of Lebanon - you’ll dig ❤️👍🏽👍☘️
Love your reaction
Both Tim and Jim Jefferies are Australian. Great reaction.
If you like his piano playing in this, you should watch 'Dark Side' next - it's incredible
The recommendation was from Rana, he does paid requests so if you want him to do it i believe you’re best to pay the $10 U.S. 👍
And my problem with the bible is that if God is omnipresent and omniscient he knew that most people would live a life of hardship before creation. How do we have free will if God has always known every decision that we will ever make
This is the type of pettiness that is deserved. Great reaction 🤘 found you through TW reactions, Tim was a welcome surprise
Awesome! Thank you! TWA forever
If you think someone loves you or you love them without evidence, you are almost certainly stalking them.
I don't see that you've reacted to Ren-Tale of Jenny and Screech. (It's a trilogy (so long), but you have to do it in one sitting!
I think a genius is someone who does something particularly well, but they can't stop doing it. Ever. Einstein, Frank Zappa, Tim.
If you want to see his impressive piano skills check out dark side (awesome version), also lullaby is good with very impressive piano too
The intro is negated by introducing the react-matter lol, but i love it!
I'm just highlighting where the tension may be with how each side views "evidence" I'm not claiming anything lol
It's a good question - in the last census results were:
Christianity (43.9%)
No religion (38.9%)
Islam (3.2%)
Hinduism (2.7%)
Buddhism (2.4%)
Now interestingly, years previous they did an anonymous national survey with different questions around various topics - religious organisation identification was there, but they actually asked "do you regularly go to places of worship?" - far lower %. but my favourite - "Do you believe in the existence of a deity?" where the result was 84.9% No.
To me god is similar to the project management principle of “Fast, good, or cheap - pick two"
In the god case its "all knowing, all powerful and all good".
If (big If) an after life is real, it's real weather we believe in it or not, so no stress, if it's not we won't even know it. lol
6:12 I felt that same feeling your talking about when I went to a nine inch nails concert when I was 19 years old if I could feel that there isn't that more related to adrenaline than a god or are you just going to claim that I wasn't feeling the same thing even though I was
Suggestion: George Carlin ( youtube ) --- " Religion is B _ _ _ _ hit "
Once you resolve that, I might listen to your explanation of evil and something else being compatible.
i laughed out loud when god turned off your camera! as an ignorant atheist subscribe!
I don't believe or disbelieve in a God
I'm like him in a way rely on evidence
So I do class myself none religion
But have no issue's with others believing in a God
As long as it's not used to harm others
Because for some individuals the believe of a God
Makes them a better person then gives comfort and confidence hope
So how can that be a bad thing
But like everything in life their are those who will abuse it for evil things
To manipulate and control certain individuals
The other issue I have with it is your ment to practice it for God to love you
Otherwise your a sinner and go to hell
Which is not quite true as on your death bed you asked for forgiveness think are OK
It doesn't matter if your a pedo file paedophile rapes murder or the biggest a hole in the world ect
So why would you be a practising religious person making all the sacrifices
When you can just repent on your death bed and do what ever good or bad things you'd like
As I said I'm not a believer but do see where in certain circumstances it can be a benifit for individuals
With that benefiting society as a hole
But as I wrote earlier the opposite as well is possible
Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Atheists are not the close minded ones. During the Bill Nye (science advocate and atheist), Ken Ham (fundamental biblical literalist and young earth creationist) debate the moderator asked Bill (the atheist) what would change his mind, Bill said "evidence." When the moderator asked Ken what would change his mind, he said, "Nothing."
Which of those two sound like they have an open mind?
I’m a dyslexic atheist… I believe there is no dog 🤣
Just from all of your comments at the start while hes giving the backstory.. i already feel like you arnt going to see the funny side of Tim.
Definition of evidence- especially in this post new atheism era, the atheist rhetoric is, anecdotal or feelings based evidence IS evidence, just not convincing. Just a thought
Who defined that?
Feelings are only evidence for feelings. Evidence has to be directly causatory to the thing in question for it to be relevant
The 'spiritual' nonsense is just an extension of one of the aspects of humanity that attracts people to religion in the first place 'self importance' and conceit.
as in
"I am so much better than other people that the god that created the universe wants to spend eternity with me".
and
"I am so much better than other people that I am 'spiritual' and they are not.
It is all part of the celestial richard swinging.
It goes along with the;
'I will pray for you because god listens to me'
Religion is a way to attract punters based on stroking their ego.
I appreciate your informed comments, but they are, for me, too often and ruin the flow.
I get this is the an analysis but its about a whole comedic bit.. and you pause and brush over all the actual little jokes in there
I dont think you know what Irony means lol
Psssst.... Your bias towards irrational thought is showing.
Sorry...but...maybe hold back on the philosophising and just enjoy the amusing song!
I disagree… lots of people do that already, I think it’s interesting to hear a different perspective
