That "Mario, el mejor contador del mundo" level was titled "the world's best accountant", and the text at the beginning asked you to count how many goombas were there. I was counting while you played and found 61. By mere coincidence you chose the third pipe, which was over the 61 text made out of grey blocks. Wow. I wish you didn't boo it, the level had some interesting ideas to hide the real amount of goombas, but I understand than, just like with Japanese, the language barrier makes it harder for the global population to understand a level, and that's why graphic descriptions are more effective.
That Canadian skill level from the start was pretty good!
It would've been better if the auto scroll wasn't as slow. Made it a pain for him to replay upon death
I counted 56, it was really hard actually. A counting level sounds like a good idea, it would be better w/o the auto scroller

I think the autoscroll with no checkpoint is why it got booed. Plus for those who don't understand Spanish it feels more like a pick a path at the end. Panga calls those instances "language barriers."

Ryu fumbling his way through the Spanish counting level completely clueless to what the level asked him to do to win it by guessing at the end is honestly a little iconic.
Ryu : get 2 triple jumps in a row and then see a 3rd row of 3 plateforms

Late 1800s (1880s I believe) a man named Josh Tatum took nickles and painted them gold (to look almost identical to $5 gold coins at the time, large V on the back of both). It wasn't so much the rhythm part that he hated, as much as everything before it that he had to do every time he died, the 200+ seconds of easy autoscroll nonsense.

I looked in the level editor for that Bowser fight level and the choad has a hidden star in the upper right corner of the room. This game is so toxic.

In Stage 4, u must count the Goombas to take the right Pipe. Thats what the Level Creater want to Do to u. :)
I'm pretty sure that awful auto-scrolling level was a "count the Goombas" level. I started counting the moment I saw an enemy that wasn't a Goomba, and I got to 60. Though I may have missed one, leading to the answer of 61.

In the Goomba level you were supposed to count how many goombas were in the stage and that was the "password"

Nintendo has literally never been in touch with the community. Since like the game cube days. They just do whatever they want, fans be damned. And they are still in the top 3 consoles like 40 years since their first one so they aren't inclined to start listening to fans now

Same happened to me in Street Fighter V,those 4 trials were kinda easy didn't took me long time to make them all,the stream of today is short....let's do 2 more.Big mistake,one of those 2 took me 2 hours and then i had to make 1 more character haha,content XD-.

most of the time it's justified because it's typically just random questionable level design such as senseless hazard bloat (a dozen skewers that dont do anything) or hefty rng elements (bowser fire) but at the end of the day people's standards just simply vary

At the first level you could walljump from under the bottom of the screen spike to the goal. You can wall jump under spikes if they're at the bottom of the screen as there was solid wall there
