Also sorry if you feel frustrated during the 2nd half, I should've included a checkpoint for that part but that level was made after like a year of not making levels so I kinda looked through it.
Edit: I read a lot of comments about the level, so I decided to reupload it with a 2nd checkpoint: FFD-0D2-J2G. Should make it less frustrating. Also the level is about flowers since Halzion is a flower.

My theory is that they put timers on auto scrollers for the faster music that adds a sense of urgency.

It's in the spirit of that nightmare everyone has had where you are trying to run from some danger but no matter how hard you try you move slow while the danger creeps closer and closer.
Not sure I've ever had that nightmare.

Yes, I made the level around 21:57. I use the timer for the music as I think it sounds more intense and fitting for the level.

There's a one-way behind that door, so you can't enter it without being 1 block tall (if you duck then you can't open the door).
Nothing beats Ryu in the morning.
Save for finding gear in the game you playthat has really low odds of dropping, and especially when you've been farming for 10 hours. Even more so if it's the first few minutes of the 5th day of your grind.

For you programmers watching, is there a term for that type of gameplay? Idk if the maker was aware but many developers do this thing where the player is tricked into playing it the hard way when there's a much easier way to clear or defeat an enemy. It's an art but I always wondered what the correct term is.
Only two Switch games I am waiting for is Skies of Arcadia Remastered and SSX Tricky "reboot/remaster"

Heard tinny Thor 1 to many times. Also, glitched out gameplay is not amazing, it's a replacement for good lvl design.
Why did Ryu try to avoid all the fire flowers in the last level? I mean, for the most part, it made the level easier to traverse, but it wasn't a requirement, so he didn't have to kill himself twice to enter the door at the end.

game seems pretty good based on the steam reviews (couple negative reviews are people complaining about mechanics they misunderstood and one dude ranting about an optional assist mode). Probably won't buy it myself since it's a tad pricey (16 USD) for what seems to be 10-20 hours of gampelay. To be fair I'm comparing it to the other platformers I have played which were all masterpieces

I feel like the snake block is the most evil addition to SMM2 next to the koopa car. Also it's evil because I can never remember if it's snake block or block snake. Yeah Tiny Thor looks awesome! I'll get it on sale but I'll get it.
