Oh, how we love Chip and JoJo. How can ya not? Salt of the earth, real, genuine and kind humans
I think we all love the show because of the chemistry between the couple and how they balance family with their dreams and work. It seems down to earth, and possible to do.
They are the kind of people we can look to when remembering who we really are; kind, considerate, funny, real, genuine...I can't help but be inspired to be the same.
I am a Home Health nurse. So after a long day or stressful day, I watch Chip and Joanna for relaxation. Watching their relationship and their family makes me smile. They are so good together. It gives me hope.
It's just good to watch truly kind, humble, and genuine people making their dreams come true, working to make other people's dreams come true, and raising a lovely family with balance and honesty. THAT'S what made the show work. In a world of so much chaos, crime, and division, it was always good to watch regular folks like us experiencing so much joy in what they were doing. Gave me the same kind of warm feeling as watching The Waltons. Continued blessings to the entire Gaines family!!

No wonder I love you guys! I'm in South Dakota celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with a most wonderful guy!!! Your story is so like OUR life together, no TV along with so many other things we have done in the past. My husband is a pastor; we have four beautiful children who are married; with 2 wonderful wives, and 8 wonderful grandchildren. I could go on and on, but I couldn't keep it in!
What makes you want to see more and more of them is Joanna’s designs, Chip’s goofiness, and their authenticity! Great interview!
3 out of 5 couples that built their own homes in a tiny rural community where I built my home many years ago divorced within a few years. That these two are still at it on this level is incredible. An amazing couple.

As two attractive people who started out ordinary people, you guys have become celebrities. The fact you can stay married thru all the projects you do. The fact you can keep your humor, all of that is admirable beyond description. All of that(being famous, money etc) will mean nothing to your family or yourselves without holding on to those values. This is one fan who is rooting for you.

Spent the day in Waco yesterday and went on the Waco Tour bus tour that David Ridley (single guy Fixer Upper episode) founded along with another Waco couple. BEST TOUR EVER!! Seriously, if you go to Waco, take the tour first. I have had two kids graduate from Baylor and never knew of many of the things they told us about and places they brought us by. Also, fun to drive by several of the fixer upper homes that have mostly become Airbnbs now. Chip and Joanna have absolutely transformed Waco and brought so much restoration to that town and the people of the town, along with some other people I had never heard of. God is on the move in Waco!
They are respectful of one another. They never play a bully or a drama junkie. They don't shove their showmanship down your throat....selfies at nauseum ...fake smiles ...larger than life....just a normal couple riding their creative wave as they raise some kiddlets ...Thank you Joanna and Chip.

Oh I'm super excited about them having a network, I have thought for a long time that we need a lot more positivity in TV, and I think they are the perfect people to bring it.
