Wow.... Just came back here and I'm so overwhelmed by all the positive comments! Thank you all so much, I promise to use this amp to create as much music and content as possible! I really cannot thank you all enough for the kind words, it means so much :-)
bea-man.....woah! i was watching this vid in the time i wasnt playing my own guitar, and everytime i picked up my guitar again, i felt inspired to try something new, to experiment. for the last year only Hebdrix has been able to do that, so the fact that u can inspire me the way he does is a testiment to your truly awesome mad skills bruh!!! :) haha. seriously tho.....i think you and rob or maybe just u alone need to do more content. i know its hard and shit with busy schedules, but i always look forward to watching a new vid from you. anyway.....cheers for being fucking awesome.
Really really enjoyed this project, so happy to have been able to work with Martin on this! I really hope it's an amplifier people can really use and achieve filthy tones!
***** Man, every time I think I have an idea for a better tone, turns out you or Chappers are already doing that. If and when I play music for a living, everyone is gonna think I'm copying you guys, haha. Exact same guitars, through the same amps, with the same pedals. Burden of liking the same music I suppose. And they say there's no such thing as music scenes anymore. That being said, this was a super awesome, and in-depth view into the amp, and your tone(s) were heavy as ever. :D
***** Hey, the amp sounds massive, punchy and crisp:) The ML-3BEA HTB Baritone you're playing in the vid is tuned to G#, right? Have you tried it with an 8 string? tuned to F# or drop E. That would be a great test to see how it handles such lows.
+Rabea Massaad Absolutely great product tour video. The amount of content, depth, and style made it feel very personal as the viewer. Martin and Rabea were both did an amazing job!
+Rabea Massaad Bea, it sounded amazing. I never really got to hear much of the Victory amps until now and your stereo set up has really got some great sounds. Keep up the great work and I'll be checking out your new band too.
Sam Clarke Well considering the guitarist is his best friend, the guitars are made by him, and the company has made like 2 sigs for him, I'm willing to believe he's perfectly imparcial.
Rob Chapman I think that is, and I'm being serious here, a bit of an understatement. The sounds that start around 21:00 are some of the best noises I've ever had in my ears. Truly.
Rob Chapman Bea did a really good job on this interview/demo. It's really cool how Bea and Matt now do front of camera work for Andertons as well as supporting your videos.
The clarity of the sound while Bea plays his baritone is immense! And that PRS... One of the best guitar gear videos I've seen in a while. 11/10, would play ;)
I was casually listening to this video in the background and I heard him play that little ambient solo-bit and I thought it was just a soft little riff *and then the heavy riff started* i dropped everything i was doing and found myself saying *_"Good god, that's heavy."_*
I just bought a Kraken yesterday! First I doubted whether it can actually sound that huge, but I tried in in the store on a 4 x 12 cab and was blown away. I can't wait to crank it up in the next rehearsal and to play it live! Incredible job guys! Cheers from Germany!
Yeah man! It really does handle the low end. Which was one of the main criteria we wanted to achieve with this amp! To allow for extended range players to get the response they need without gates and EQ pedals
Rabea Massad is without doubt the most prodigious guitarist of his generation, if not for all time...this young man has miles to go ...and he seemingly gladly awaits the challenge..
Had the Kraken for well over a year now and I can say that it easily the best guitar amp I've ever owned. The clarity and aggressiveness of the amp works so well for the style of music I love!
Just come here via the Pedal Show and holy mother of god, that amp is everything I've ever needed in my music! Exactly the same as Rabea, I love everything from rolled off sparkle for ambience, to mid-gain crunch rock, right through to full high gain for my 7 string (which I cannot, as yet, get to sound good). Better start saving those pennies (or YOLO and get some finance :D)!
For me this amp is a total winner. The size, the sound everything in this small package. No other company comes close in this size and sound. And Rabeas setup in stereo is epic. Thank you for this inspiring video, i am definitely looking forward to get this amp. Keep up the good work, i am really amazed!
God I love watching him play with that tone. Awesome sound, could watch it all day. Watching Rabea play just makes me smile, which is probably the best compliment I can give.
One of the best reviews on the net. Features fully explained and demonstrated. Sonic diversity and dynamics using volume perfectly illustrated. Superb skills to again illustrate diversity of the amp. No greater compliment to a piece of kit than that it inspires the player. Good job!! Great tones from complete gain monster to really lovely cleans. Want one now!!
Those guys across the puddle have been making superior audio from WW2, and still make great stuff. Hearing this makes me want to build that home tube preamp I never bought. And EL34 valves look just perfect. Enjoyed the video folks, thanks!!
You can`t help liking a guy who is so good yet so humble with it. Bea understands dynamics, subtlety and shades - light to dark - so demonstrates both guitars and amps really well. Yup, a tremendously good guitarist and a tremendously good sounding amp.
Rabea is just FANTASTIC. I love his playing. Im not a big metal guy but when he does stuff like the whole segment starting at 20:00 is juts beautiful and amazing. Love it!
Those amps sound M O N S T E R. They are at the bleeding edge of the most gain I would ever use. OK, lets be honest I would never use that much gain except to entertain myself because that's not what I play and as far as clean goes I tend to look for the big F sound. That said... it is evident that these amps are just tone beasts. They produced musical sounds, which to me is very important regardless of how much the gain is pumped. It's rare to hear this... umm, hard to describe... quality of sound. That's it. Hats off to Martin and the people at Victory for giving us such awesome amps.
Bought my Victory V30 for cover band and used my EVH 5150 and 2x12 for rock band. Took V30 to rock band rehearsal...selling 5150 :p The Kraken is a beast tho! Bea is a great player.
I'm going to be honest, I hadn't heard about this amp until a few minutes ago when it was mentioned in an EVH 5150 Lunchbox video because my heart was set on one of those so I figured I'd check it out. Stumbled on this video. My god what an amplifier and what versatility from such a small package. Going to be hard not to buy one of these now. Awesome playing as well and a real pleasure to see a demo video that actually has a variety of tones and sounds which is so informative. Keep it up!
Bea, you are aboslutely amazing... I sat in my chair smiling like a moron when you played. Especially those clean tones were truly inspiring. Amazing sounding amp aswell, I might just add, lol :)
God damn that is some of the BEST high gain I've ever heard out of a lower wattage amp. Once you get to around noon on the gain 2 channel, my ears perked up massively. Really articulate, and really tight. It has enough saturation, but does it without getting any fizz or buzz. And it isn't overly dry either. That's the only way I can describe it. Sounds awesome. I need one.
Both this amp and the Red Dwarf are serious pieces of win. Both Bea and Rob have made some great pieces of gear, along with the help of Martin Kidd of course!
Thoroughly enjoyed the entire video- congratulations, and thank you Bea for your display of craft in modern guitar playing, textured composition and melodic persuasion, & Mr Kidd you modest, softly spoken gentleman, mythical creature, and observant engineer.. well done sir!! *tips cap*
Such a great video. Phenomenal tones!! At around the 20:30 mark I literally got chills. Great great stuff here. Thank you Rabea. You are extremely talented at what you do.
Damm, I keep coming back to this video just to hear the bloody insane guitar tone. Especially the sequence from 7:13 . Gives me goosebumps every damm time...
If I had the money, I would order one right away! Must be the best sounding amp I've ever heard. And I know it's RUclips and the sound is different in real life but still. Also, such brilliant playing from Rabea, I was totally blown away! :)
Bea represents pretty much everything i want to be as a guitarist, he has great syle. That amp is fucking killer too, the clarity is amazing. I want one really bad
Bea, your playing sounds phenomenal in this video! Just watched this loud through my surround sound and your rhythmic riffage is off the charts! Definitely want to hear more! Congrats on an amazing sounding amp!
The part from 20:00. I'm speechless. Screw john petrucci, david gilmour and all the guitar heros. Bea is my favourite guitarist from now on. He's a pure genius.
Great vid, great amp, great tunes and great Bea. Whatever that passage was at 20:00 mark, I hope that makes it into your solo work. Very mellow and beautiful, reminds of Javiers solowork from AAL.
This amp has stolen me away from the arms of peavey and bogner. It seems to have a dialable lead and rhythm tone in one setting. I haven't heard anything quite like this before. It's subtle but it sounds (good) different to all the other amps I've heard. Amazing work and outstanding riffage from Rabea! Awesomeness!
Wow.... Just came back here and I'm so overwhelmed by all the positive comments! Thank you all so much, I promise to use this amp to create as much music and content as possible! I really cannot thank you all enough for the kind words, it means so much :-)
+Rabea Massaad please do a billion albums on the way as well :-)
+Rabea Massaad when can we expect the ML-3 Bea's???
+Rabea Massaad Could you tell me the song you're playing at 1:11 please? That riff sounds sick
+Rabea Massaad One for the djent chappies LOL!
bea-man.....woah! i was watching this vid in the time i wasnt playing my own guitar, and everytime i picked up my guitar again, i felt inspired to try something new, to experiment. for the last year only Hebdrix has been able to do that, so the fact that u can inspire me the way he does is a testiment to your truly awesome mad skills bruh!!! :) haha. seriously tho.....i think you and rob or maybe just u alone need to do more content. i know its hard and shit with busy schedules, but i always look forward to watching a new vid from you. anyway.....cheers for being fucking awesome.

+Rabea Massaad Bea, is that Juggernaut in the ML-3 or it's regular Passive Argressive?
Great guitarist, great guitars and awesome amplifier :-)
Rob Chapman you could perhaps be accused of bias?
Sam Clarke Well considering the guitarist is his best friend, the guitars are made by him, and the company has made like 2 sigs for him, I'm willing to believe he's perfectly imparcial.

+visualdragon Subliminal....
*_>that moment when you clicked this video just to hear Rabea play his guitar_*
Everytime I see Bea play, I just start smiling and headbanging. His playing is just absolutely phenomenal, definitly one of my inspirations.
same :)
I love his playing.
One word - ooooof!!
CaptAnderton You missed the W
[Insert Roblox death sound]
The clarity of the sound while Bea plays his baritone is immense! And that PRS... One of the best guitar gear videos I've seen in a while. 11/10, would play ;)
stumbled on Gojira yesterday and Rabea today. life is good.
rapidly becoming the riff king of RUclips!
agreed
Amen.
That whole sequence from like 19:55-22:40. Good god.
I was casually listening to this video in the background and I heard him play that little ambient solo-bit and I thought it was just a soft little riff *and then the heavy riff started*
i dropped everything i was doing and found myself saying
*_"Good god, that's heavy."_*
Shivers down my spine
AWallace Productions yeah i know that's a perfect example of why i love rabea so much, hes just a fucking beastm
Amen!!
Anytime you see that guitar it'll be mental
does Bea have the kind of videos where he just plays guitar like in this vid ? Because my ears can't get enough of his playing
+Brent Claus check out his personal channel
He has a band called Toska with Dave and Ben from Dorje. When Bea says that he plays prog-metal, this project is what he's reffering to.
I just bought a Kraken yesterday! First I doubted whether it can actually sound that huge, but I tried in in the store on a 4 x 12 cab and was blown away. I can't wait to crank it up in the next rehearsal and to play it live! Incredible job guys! Cheers from Germany!
That amp sounds amazing. The way it handles low end is unlike anything "non-Fractal" I've heard. Love it.
Yeah man! It really does handle the low end. Which was one of the main criteria we wanted to achieve with this amp! To allow for extended range players to get the response they need without gates and EQ pedals
Finally got my hands on one after drooling over this video for 6 years. Damn, how time flies, but it still absolutely crushes.
This is great to hear! Thank you for investing in a Kraken! thanks Victory!
Rabea Massad is without doubt the most prodigious guitarist of his generation, if not for all time...this young man has miles to go ...and he seemingly gladly awaits the challenge..
Terrance Hill you can’t be serious
Everyone should have a humble analogue electronics wizard in their life. Lovely sound, utterly nailed it.
Rabea, I don't even like metal much but watching you play it is kick-ass. You're a great god damn player.
+boonexy thank you very much man, i appreciate that very much :-)
***** Any time, cheers!
Had the Kraken for well over a year now and I can say that it easily the best guitar amp I've ever owned. The clarity and aggressiveness of the amp

Really interesting video, Martin seems like a down to earth genius, and Bea just get's better and better. This is what dedication sounds like.
For me this amp is a total winner. The size, the sound everything in this small package. No other company comes close in this size and sound. And Rabeas setup in stereo is epic. Thank you for this inspiring video, i am definitely looking forward to get this amp. Keep up the good work, i am really amazed!
I honestly think that putting one of these alongside a V40 would give you one of the most versatile rigs ever. Great job guys!
God I love watching him play with that tone. Awesome sound, could watch it all day. Watching Rabea play just makes me smile, which is probably the best compliment I can give.
RoBEAST is a killer musician, artist, and a hella nice guy. Congrats BEA!
Wow, this type of tones is what will bring this name to the spotlight.
I was literally going to cry during the clean tones.
I normally troll videos like these but this is amazing!
Hahahaha amazing
Lmfao
One of the most unique guitars players of our time, just in my opinion of course.
:-)
I second that ,rabea is badass
Those guys across the puddle have been making superior audio from WW2, and still make great stuff. Hearing this makes me want to build that home tube preamp I never bought. And EL34 valves look just perfect.
Enjoyed the video folks, thanks!!
The young man, is just so humble. Really enjoyed this vid
12:15 JESUS HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THIS IS ALL THE TONE WE NEEE
one of the best contempary guitarists out there, not just skill , he has personality and tone also , word to the big man
Man, the riffs at 12:05 (especially from 12:30 on) and the clean section at 19:57 are just amazing!! The tone sounds fantastic.
I been wanting to check these out but never find them locally, they sound beast.
You can`t help liking a guy who is so good yet so humble with it. Bea understands dynamics, subtlety and shades - light to dark - so demonstrates both guitars and amps really well. Yup, a tremendously good guitarist and a tremendously good sounding amp.
Really nailed the ratio of talking and playing in this video. Fantastic!
I forgot to say that I love this amp and Rabea is a fantastic player, and to me he plays like a magician - ever changing!
I could not stop watching; just taking it all in. Genuinely one of the best videos I've seen, regardless of topic or time, in months! 🙏
Still come back every few weeks to watch the riff at 12:06. Absolute grail tone.
The amp itself sounds really good, however it's overshadowed by great playing. Very well done Rabea.
that Baritone sound ... WOW ! insanely cool .
I love winning and have been releasing the Kraken onstage for years. Need one of these amps. 😍
I can't get enough of your playing Rabea. You are amazing and I wish I was half as good as you are!
Absolutely one of my all time favourite videos on youtube. Tickels my brain.
so much tone! Sounds awesome, and Rabea is a superb guitarist too!
5 yeas past n i stil coming back for the 12:04, that riff is just.... uff
Same haha
8 years later and I still keep coming back for this riff. It’s just SO GOOD!
Rabea is just FANTASTIC. I love his playing. Im not a big metal guy but when he does stuff like the whole segment starting at 20:00 is juts beautiful and amazing. Love it!

It's rare to hear this... umm, hard to describe... quality of sound. That's it.
Hats off to Martin and the people at Victory for giving us such awesome amps.
Where is the tune at 12:00 as a stand-alone vid/track?
PHAT TONEAGE! Rabea is a beast and so is this amp!
Bought my Victory V30 for cover band and used my EVH 5150 and 2x12 for rock band. Took V30 to rock band rehearsal...selling 5150 :p The Kraken is a beast tho! Bea is a great player.
I would love to see a Kraken 50w Combo!
Just love Bea's feel. Can't say it enough
The amount of times I've watched this is silly. Bea you rock dude !
I'm going to be honest, I hadn't heard about this amp until a few minutes ago when it was mentioned in an EVH 5150 Lunchbox video because my heart was set on one of those so I figured I'd check it out. Holy Shit! Bea, you are a fucking beast of a guitar player.
Hahaha thank you sir!
old account And you can do better?
+Graham Pritchard It was a compliment, Graham. A compliment.
Beast of a guitar player to me is being even more than a fucking amazing guitar player.
Lysdexia That wasn't aimed at you, There was a post after yours but looks like it has been deleted saying Bea was a crap player by old account?
Bea, you are aboslutely amazing... I sat in my chair smiling like a moron when you played. Especially those clean tones were truly inspiring. Amazing sounding amp aswell, I might just add, lol :)
Ahhh thank you so much! I really appreciate that :D
+Philip Andersson man I really thought I was the only one smiling with my mouth slightly ajar. Ha! glad I'm not alone!
Great combination of punch and articulation. Really interested to try one of these out myself.
That PRS is stunning!
As I've posted before...I think you have a great imagination. And you have a great way of explaining what you think. You are a natural interviewer.
I think this is the amp for me. It pretty much checks every box I could ever want in an amp.
This amp is just awesome. Couldn´t be happier with mine!!
I'm blown away everytime . So good
This is amazing. That baritone and a kraken is now my goal! Oh yes, she will be mine!
*tips cap*
Love these vids. Informative, entertaining, intelligent. American marketers take note. Less cringy antincs and stiff sales pitches.
Such a great video. Phenomenal tones!! At around the 20:30 mark I literally got chills. Great great stuff here. Thank you Rabea. You are extremely talented at what you do.
I have one with the matching grey 2x12 cabinet, and it's incredible!
wow amazing the way you play all those diffrent riffs my ears are in love it has become the theme tune to my life ty
Congrats Bea sounding better than ever
And this is WITHOUT an OD pedal?? Good god this thing absolutely slays. Great job dudes
Go ahead and buy one of these monsters! It is a versatile tone machine. Usable cleans, great rock tones and a crushing metal head breaker.
The stereo setup is amazing!!!!
Absolutely our dream sound. Speechless!
You got a new future customer sir
Awesome! I really hope you dig!
Badly want one of these now. Bea is an immense player!
I just looove the intro so much.
Just ordered one, absolutely cannot wait!
Damn... Didn't realize rabea lost so much weight! This dude just keeps getting more and more inspiring
Bea, your playing sounds phenomenal in this video! Just watched this loud through my surround sound and your rhythmic riffage is off the charts! Definitely want to hear more! Congrats on an amazing sounding amp!
Thank you man! I really like this amp hahah! I honestly recommend them, as you can hear they're so very versatile.
This amp is probably one of the best sounding amps iv'e heard, I wish I could afford one.
That stereo rig at the end just wow
I watched this video and ordered One right away from Riff City Guitar! killer tone and a killer demo!
the gain tone at 22:20 with the bigsky and the timeline was fucking size
The part from 20:00. I'm speechless. Screw john petrucci, david gilmour and all the guitar heros. Bea is my favourite guitarist from now on. He's a pure genius.
Hahahah wow man, thank you so much! But I'm nothing in comparison to them! They're Gods
What excellent editing too.
Jesus, that sounds amazing! And that decay in stereo is simply gorgeous...damn got gotta start saving again.
Duuuude...I want me a kraken now. I was ehh about it when I saw the review by Andertons but Bea made this amp pleasant to my ears.
Sounds awesome! Great demoing. And that PRS is just wow! Thanks.
I want one. They sound wonderful.
And that Rabea laddie is some player - love it.
The ambient stuff is amazing. It sounds like a pipe organ! Stereo is great, too.
Those amps are beast ! Much tone !
Great vid, great amp, great tunes and great Bea. Whatever that passage was at 20:00 mark, I hope that makes it into your solo work. Very mellow and beautiful, reminds of Javiers solowork from AAL.
I love how Rabea's opening gain riff sounds like St Anger/A sense of Purpose type Homage. Good on you brother. 2 wiked albums from 2 great bands
