Crazy how both Mirror's Edge, and Battlefield 3 (both being made by DICE) are games that really tug at the heart strings with the use of these amazing, clean soundtracks. Beautiful.
did anyone else get goosepimples when this song played when your the marine and dima is behind you and he says " dont do anything stupid" then you see his face CHILLING
The title of the track is The Death of Vladmir, so it's pretty obvious he died. It was most likely either police or a special agency (CIA, KGB, FBI) at the door to arrest him. Also the little monologue he gives at the end pretty much sealed the deal.
@HTFDUDEHTF yeah, in that moment you´re playing as Blackburn, and you shoot you know who, that´s why he´s in the interrogation room since the game starts. So practically all of the missions except the first and last ones are flashbacks.
It seems like no one understands the who you play as when in the flashbacks. Yes the scene at the pool you play as blackburn and dima has you shoot your CO. Then dima goes to Paris to stop the bomb there and that's when vladmir dies. Blackburn is taken to be questioned right after the villa scene
@SuperGamerPro97 yeah, they did made an effort so that one can see that Dima got affected and sad, when you reenter the tunnel and the camera looks back, (Dima´s head turning back at Vladimir´s body) fuck. I felt sorry for them.
@megav365 I just didn't find it very compelling. The characters didn't really have much time to develop, so I didn't care when they died. It didn't help that it the game barely runs for me, so I had to deal with invisible models (which made the fist fight at the end hilarious) and constant sound stuttering.
Guys listen, there are many theories. 1)He shot himself (he was a war criminal after all and was chased by USA and Russian forces) 2)He kills the guy behind the door and try to escape the past and have a normal life (well... almost all his friends died so....) 3)Maybe the guy behind the door is Blackburn? A little thanks? 4)Or maybe it was just the gay that want him on another mission. Who knows what happened... I`m after number 3. And you?
@megav365 The music is definitely great. To me, the campaign was little more than practice for the multiplayer. Which was disappointing in and of itself, because you never get jet, chopper, or real tank practice.
@ps3isladdish Oh I'm sure but are people gonna cry if they find out some spoiler about BF3? BF3 focus isn't on its campaign, most people are buying because of its multi (including me). I doubt there are people right now cutting their wrists open just because a song spoiled a plot event...
Okay wtf people are dumb why would he shoot himself?? If he said that his friend told him to make the best of his life I think he's going to shoot the guy at the door not himself.

This is THE most epic soundtrack ever.
This captures the atmosphere perfectly, all I can say is just perfect.
The title of the track is The Death of Vladmir, so it's pretty obvious he died. It was most likely either police or a special agency (CIA, KGB, FBI) at the door to arrest him. Also the little monologue he gives at the end pretty much sealed the deal.
Awesome...
he did survived Paris but in the last cutscene you can hear him closing the story, takes his gun and blows his brave irradiated brains, thats saaad :c
Guys, when that bus exploded and this song played, i got goosebumps!! It was epic! Although sad that Dima lost his comrade..
cooles soundtrack danke :)

R.I.P Dima! R.I.P!
rest in peace comrade vladmir
Fucking awesome!
Dima is alive in BF4... just sayin' ^^
He's talking about Dima.
Vladimir isn't the guy at the end.
Oh, my bad. I get the names mixed up, but still for the most part he probably died.
@realginoyskaters You don't know if he committed suicide or not. He could have survived the nuclear explosion as well, he was far enough away from it.

He'll I'm still here lol I stand firm on goosepimples
This isnt the song that played then. It was Solomons theme
@megav365

@andresruval
No I mean at that mission where you see the death of vladimir you play as a russian guy.

Who knows what happened...
I`m after number 3. And you?
yeah i mean he could have survived fire fight i mean he's one tough bastard, i dont follow the story of bf series so much but maybe he lived idk.
I know for a fact that if Dima died it was for a good reason
Can't believe dice killed him in BF4 :/
This is not the death of Dima this is the death of Vladimir.
But yeah this music reminds Dima's death ;_;
Yeah but that person posted that a year a go man
song looks like from mirror's edge
@realginoyskaters How do you know that shot was at him, it could have been him doing something else.
@HTFDUDEHTF oh sorry, hope I didn't spoiled anything for you... I thought about that other mission because of the "don't do anything stupid" quote.
@bigcp500 well it is the same people who made Mirror's edge
Sacrifice himself or die fighting
This music was made by 3 patients with cardiac arrest (if you know what i mean...)
✞
Sounds like a song from mirrors edge
@FoggyFishburne quite a lot of people?
@megav365

it was "antispoiler" :з
@marinesusarule
You were the marine?
I thought you were some other russian guy?
Okay wtf people are dumb why would he shoot himself?? If he said that his friend told him to make the best of his life I think he's going to shoot the guy at the door not himself.
@FoggyFishburne
I do. It's the shit. But no spoiler for me.
@FoggyFishburne I do but i dont know who he is soooo its whatever
goosepimples LOL
mirror's edge soundtrack ?
Dude he is really not alive xD
the title is a huge spoiler... :(
This soundtrack is giving me the badside...
1.
@FireBenderKwyna Hahaha yeah I thought the same :) Oh well, does anyone really give a shit about the campaign? I mean really?
No its not! He is alive (think twice before dislike :P)
Such a disappointing campaign.
