Honestly both voices feel like gojo. Sometimes you'll have an anime character voiced by a japanese granny while the dub actor is god tier and other times its the complete opposite, but this is pretty good on both ends

The dub voice actors should deserve respect from everyone. They are heavily restricted by the mouth flaps of the characters because the Japanese language has words that are shorter than the english meaning of it, they either try to get it as quick in order for the voice to match the flaps or they have to slow the length of the words if the mouth flaps are more than the english version of it. Normal acting you have a ton of freedom, but voice acting? Not so much. Thinking about being one, but it’s really hard when you see the work they put in

I prefer the "little rough" because it shows he still isn't trying. If he said violent then people would think his trying really hard and it's one of the best moves he can do. So it's good it was rough and not violent imo because this means it can only be a fraction of his strength

@@ota9007 No reason? Voice acting in anime is a much bigger business in Japan, so there are a lot more people fighting for jobs there. Naturally the most talented gets the jobs. English dub is more like, we take what we can get. That's why you end up with dub voice actors like in Naruto. Gaara was the only english voice actor in god mode in Naruto. Madara and Pain had people who at least sounded like voice actors, but nothing amazing really. Just better than average. Naruto's voice actor was annoying imo in both Japanese and Dub tho, but i cant deny they both were better voice actors than the average person. However... Most talented english voice actors dont do anime unfortunately. They mostly do Disney movies, regular cartoons or video games etc. But the main reason why sub almost always feels better than dub, is because humour almost never translates well. Not to mention that most of the time, the emotions doesnt always hit you the same way. Like Erwins speech in AoT, sub gives chills down my spine while dub makes me feel nothing :(
If you hate on one because it's not the other, then you're just insecure. Literally doesn't matter what other people think, as long as you genuinely like whichever version you prefer.
Both are amazing to be honest. You can only pick subjectively from these two.. My subjective pick is the English one because his voice is a slightly more expressive maybe and has that interesting depth of his voice but that is all. That's why I like it more. Gojou is a laid back and usually calm person. Makes sense for him to have that type of voice since techniques like this and the enemies are light work for him

Some dubs are gas like this one or attack on titans, but look at one piece’s dub and then you can understand the hate.
Tokyo Revengers and Demon slayer are examples of bad dubs. Death Note and Code Geass are good ones
