lets be honest sumo digital was NOT TO BLAME FOR LBP3 IT WAS SONY, SONY FUCKING STACKED THEIR DEADLINE AGAINST THEM. the only thing they did was give up at the end.
The problem is they’d have to do SSSOOO much work to stabilize the servers from hackers given the server issues just to make old levels compatible. Still they’d need to do it I don’t know man it’s like that’s never talked about when people talk about LBP 4
There are two sides, personally i am one side 1 1. lpb3 is turning 10 years old this year, so it would make sense for them to release a new entry. We also need one because hackers keep ddosing the servers. There is hope because MM is working on a new game. 2. Its been too long, the servers are broken with little notice, not much content is posted about this game anymore and some people have just gone to other franchises.
sony or giant corporate entities controlling the video game industry always set really short deadlines, if sumo had gotten a bit more time i'd say LBP3 would be worthy the title of the last game in the franchise, sumo digital is a great developer, it wasnt their fault sony set a really hostile deadline for the developers, so no wonder the game isn't finished

It isn't rocket science. Sackboy with user generated content and secure servers for a change. Money in the bank.
It's confusing that they chose not to impliment UGC into sackboy, especially if they were trying to gauge interest in a possible LBP game
MM is confirmed to be working on a new IP :(

remember that steve isbell stayed with sony until servers are back, so i think they will bring them back
