What good is representation if it's a bad one or worse a dull and forgettable one. Focus on the primary and then add the secondary and flavor in the tertiary and so forth. Build a foundation first. A formula also exists for a reason too. It works. You want a story about certain cultural or ethnical background then by all means but you should also be mindful whether it will gain merits in its content than its gimmick. Proud Family could do it. Static Shock too. Xiaolin Showdown and that one has a pretty diverse main cast. If all a show has it going for is diversity then that's a rather hollow praise meant to gain attention. I always see the celebration of these aspects undermine the point of normalizing it in the first place. The day it will be normal is the day where it doesnt really matter and no one cares about what your background or sexual orientation or gender identity this or that and just go by passing through in normalcy

O_O Disney literally bought out the tickets and bribed rotten tomatoes for that movie. It probably made half a billion at most. A lot of people did not like it not just because of Brie Larson, but because the story is just so loosely written and not interesting or really makes much sense. Like the whole movie could have been avoided in the first 15 minutes if Talos just said, “hey, you dont understand. My kind is endangered and we’re just looking for a new home. We need help.” Instead of the stupid shit he said
