Tamiya releasing another French WW2 tank is cool..But I wish Tamiya would give us some WW2 Japanese tanks in a new tool.Though ICM could do a good job with small Japanese tanks like the type 95 Ha-Go..So why don’t they give the Ha-Go a go.?Ha-Go,on Tamiya/ICM.! Some stunning resin figures coming out..The other figures that aren’t female Israeli troops look alright as well.. A great new kit round up Jim and all the best
Kotare - don’t change what you’re doing ! We don’t want an engine - we want your kits with a seated pilot figure with mask on and the ability to build it with gear up. NO ENGINES !
@ yes, we. Not everyone wants to display an aircraft effectively on an autopsy bench with its guts and innards on display. It’s no accident that the box art of nearly model aircraft shows them in flight - doing what they are designed to do. There are plenty of models with engines, so, yes WE need mor models which can easily built in flight.
@MrDyhard We have all their 1/32 Spits and Mustangs, but we would like to point at that the use of the word we by the OP was what we where reacting to.
Hello Jim, As always an excellent "wish list" video. The model industry is turning out some incredible detail kits now, Someday I may just have to have a go at some of that 1/16 amour - the detailing is awesome. However, the Das Werk Me P.1101 and Meteor kind of hit the top of the list on this video. The diorama kits are interesting and would certainly appeal to amour builders, a reference to the companies that make them would be good to know - there are so many kits coming out I don't know how you keep up with them. It seems like Mitches has forgotten about the B-24 gunners - however, based on this video, 2025 is relatively booked, both kit and budget wise. Hope all is well across the pond, Cheers Bob
Hello Bob, Glad you enjoyed the video! The 1/16 armour is tempting, and the Me P.1101 and Meteor are definitely top picks. I’ll try to highlight diorama kit manufacturers more clearly in future videos, but it is on the screen, and I did say-there’s so much coming out, it’s hard to keep up! Mitches’ B-24 gunners are delayed, likely for a 2025 release-I did mention it previously, but it’s easy to miss with so much happening. Sounds like your kit list (and budget!) is already sorted for the year!
@@TheScaleModeler Hello Jim, yes definitely keeping my eye out for Me and Meteor. The diorama probably of interest to armor builders builders , the disadvantage is the extra time it would take looking for aircraft 😎 I forgot to mention, on the Kotare I'd be in favor of an engine. I remember when they came out with the Spitfire it didn't have an engine referencing it would cost more more to produce, I was kind of thinking if you mould all that detail in you might as well go all the way and put the engine in. I seem to recall that was they primary negative impression of the kit but as time went buy people accepted it. Standing by for the next update. Cheers Bob.
Yes to an engine in kotare kits! It actually was my reason for not buying the Spitfire kit. I even changed the mark I wanted & chose Tamiya. At that price point, and rising, an engine is the rule not a value added exception. But big picture the Revell 32nd 109 is Very Good+ and given the price difference you get so much more! I get it, substantial quality difference but...
That P-1101s , both 1/32 and 1/48 Really impresed me , there are a lot of 1/35 subject that not yet to be made like Faun ZRS , Tatra-111 , BR-41 kriegslokomotif , BR-01 kriegslokomotif etc
The P.1101 is definitely an impressive release in both 1/32 and 1/48-a real standout! And you're absolutely right, there are still plenty of 1/35 subjects waiting to be made-those locomotives and trucks would make for some fantastic kits. Let’s hope manufacturers take notice!
Other than seeing AHHQ's own video on his release of the M3 HT, I normally see new releases through your videos - but I only return to watch the girly dance... ;)
My guess is D Fingers crossed. Oh well. Maybe next time. Wow, what a show this week, i surely got my fill of figure release's. I wondering if Tamiya is going to release more early WWII vehicles since they released this little French tank and last year's german Pz-1 tank. Thank you for the video. Ive got to get back to the super bowl game. 😅😂
Glad you enjoyed the show! Tamiya’s recent early WWII releases do make you wonder if more are on the way-fingers crossed for some interesting additions.
Cool video. I’m going to buy a lot of Tamiya acrylics when I go to Japan this summer. Aerosol sprays, too. Any ideas on how to ship these items by sea freight?
Pleased to hear you, as usual but... M3 and M3A1... Were not but in small numbers delivered to Britain or Russia. In fact, only the M5 and M9 Half track were assigned (huge differences) to these allied countries... And also free French Brazil, Israel etc. I am also very surprised that no models in 1/35 is available in the market... Why?
The M3 and M3A1 were sent to Britain and the USSR but in smaller numbers compared to the M5 and M9. The lack of M5/M9 models in 1/35 scale is likely due to market demand and the dominance of M3 kits.
Modelling Club First rule of modelling: no engine, no Kotare Second rule of modelling: no engine, no Kotare THIRD rule of modelling: no engine...NO KOTARE!
Kotare are new on the block and the risk of a slow start and low cash flow must be high. So as their financial adviser I would say keep it simple for the first 10 models. Get the plastic out. So no engine now. Certainly for later.
Wish someone would start making Wingnut Wing kits again. All we have now is greedy collectors protending to be modellors, selling them for rip off prices on Ebay.
I hear you! It’s a shame Wingnut Wings shut down-their kits were masterpieces. The aftermarket prices are crazy, and a lot of them seem to end up in collections rather than on workbenches. Hopefully, someone picks up where they left off and brings those quality kits back to the market.

Thanks for the update on what is coming I would like to see more diorama bases please
You're welcome. I will add them as I come upon them

We want an engine with mechanic figures and open panels.

Nice to see the Mig-19 getting some love....always gets overlooked by the 15,17 and 21 in the model world
Couldn't agree more!
Great vid! When I see your content pop up, I click immediately. Always a good decision ❤
Yay! Thank you!
Might be tempted with one or two of those kits. Nice one 👍
Go for it!

Great vid, subscribed. I've waited over 3 years for the special navy kfk, i've since built it in 1/35, using the graupner 'elke' hull.
Thank you - well done!

Revell's 1/72 F-15 is a 15C, based on their F-15E from 2023(?4?)
It slipped through; they have it as a new tool listed in their catalogue
Ich denke die Me 109 K 4 in 1/48 von Eduard reicht fűr meine Sammlung😂 1/32 muss nicht sein 😅 lg

Nice viewpoint
I don't think I'll ever buy a Kotare kit - 1/32 without rivets and without any extra features for the price they charge is simply not worth the money.
Thanks for the comment!
