Law is for everyone not just Lorry drivers. Imagine I hit someone and just run away without waiting for help from law enforcement or ambulance what they of society would we live under. Can’t imagine if we pick and choose who and what to blame or enforce.
Why should one hit and run without even considering to help when a life is at stake.? We as public support this law.. this will promote responsible driving. Punishment or Fine should be enforced however quantum of same should be reconsidered.

And the common mentality of our people is that if a lorry hits a small vehicle, the lorry driver is in the wrong and get bashed on spot.. All these things have to be looked into before enforcing the law..

Dear bro, please understand the hit and run properly or consult a lawyer, just like do not come under conclusion, hit and run is applicable only when you involve in an accident and you will try to hide, if you inform the details of accident to police or judicial magistrate with in a specific time then it is not hit and run case. Another one point we need to rise is lorry drivers need to drive 8hrs only and compulsory break, sleep etc. government why dont they tale step for finding new technology to monitor drivers that they must have tracking technology of driver running hours like abroad. So we can reduce accidents, drivers mental and physical health will be good.
