Their time travel story goes through some of their older mvs. The one which called "Find you" is a prequel and explanes how Hyungwon (he is standing in the rain) received the watch. And it's very touching story. But it's actually very interesting how you talked about a story in this particular mv without any other context. Thank you very much for your reaction!
Monsta X main vocalist Kihyun is having his first solo comeback on October 24th. Maybe you could check this out too. Edit: His solo debut was earlier this year with the song Voyager. His solo-album only had 3 songs (Voyager, Rain & ,COMMA) but I really recommend checking the two b-sides out.

As mentioned, Find You is the prequel (grab a tissue), The Connect puts the pieces together, Kiss or Death is the culmination of everything (probably only in my head lol) Destroyer, Jealousy, Shoot Out, Alligator are also loosely connected. i always thought that kiss or death is related to fantasia(+fantasia film) and they are in the same universe, but not in the universe of dramarama/destroyer/find you etc. bc it's without wonho and time travel seems to work different there? i might be wrong of course 😁

i believe its 3 different story lines! 2 for the car accident (kihyun/joohoney), 2 for the men in black chase scene (minhyuk/i.m), and 2 for the kendo practice scene (wonho/shownu) with Hyungwon being the watch maker. also it was a different member in the shower instead of the one who made the watch ☺️
Ok, so there is a lot to unpack, spoiler alert, there is an overall story line that Hyungwon got "lost" in time, due to the watch that his father created and the other members are looking for him. This MV in particular, is a bit of a parallel universe version of that story, at least that is my theory. Hyungwon is looking for the boys, just like they are looking for him. And he has found some of them, in different timelines. And though they are not "his" boys, he still feels attached to them in a way. So he gives different members watches so they can reunite with other members. There are 3 mini-stories: Jooheon & Kihyun, where as you see Jooheon dies in a car accident after dropping off Kihyun. Kihyun wants to save him, but cannot so he begs Hyungwon for help and he swaps their places, so Jooheon lives. You have Minhyuk and IM who are like brothers or childhood friends who were seperated. Minhyuk goes back to meet him, but is chased by the MIB, who shoot at them, but Minhyuk jumps and the watch is hit, and he's alone when he returns so he can't go back and has no idea if IM is safe. Lastly you have Shownu and Wonho, Wonho is from the future, he travels back and spars with Shownu. When the watch is taken from Wonho, he has no way to get back to or get a message to Shownu and so Shownu waits, knowing nothing. Other MVs that touch on this topic: Finding You (how it all starts) There is a The Code & The Connect video listed under "Destroyer" that someone put together. It explains a lot, it even shows you the Ending so you can probably watch this last. Follow Fantasia (these 2 MVs have vague references to the story line, but basically are all about becoming whole as a group again... I'll skip the irony of this statement, but that's the plot). 'Kiss or Death' and 'If with U' also heavily reference time and clues and trying to find someone. There was a lot there, sorry for the long explanation, hopefully you find this helpful. this is not helpful. why would you not want him to find out by himself, why spoiling it? one thing is saying something vague or list other mv that are connected to this one, the other is writting an essay about it with every detail. when dramarama came out, the fun part was all the theories etc. and just bc you've seen everything and understand the storyline doesn't mean that he needs to find everything from some comment under his video, where is fun in that?

So Hyungwon the original Time Traveler as mentioned in the beginning with saying don't take watches from him and it being written on the newspaper. Kihyuns and Joohoens story is pretty much the one you get the most. Then there is Minhyuks and Changkyuns(I.M) in the last moment Minhyuk and him held hands so Minhyuk wanted to take him with him but they didn't anymore because the men shot it so it turned out that he stayed alone. The one you didn't really get that much with Shownu(military + hiatus) and Wonho(former member). As you see Wonho got captured plus he was the one in the shower and I think he realised there travelling far in the back as you see by the visuals. Shownu is from back in that time so they kept seeing each other and formed a friendship. And then he got captured and they took the watch so Shownu in the ending just waited for him. Sorry the way I explained their story is bad cuz I tried to explain it for each of them. I am sorry if you got lost T-T . So yeah a lot is explained in the beginning as the voice say "don't they the watches" and the newspaper having written on it the stuff about Time Travelling.
