discussing architecture and urban amenity isnt a "cop out" for good design. Yes, you can have a simple and smaller apartment because you have those amenities, in the suburbs where there isnt that amenity, you need to have the big house and the double garage and the nice car to travel, because you live in the middle of nowhere and all the things you want to do are miles away. This isnt the fault of the homes in those areas, its the fault of not allowing more density in our cities. A very well designed apartment, but unfortunately, we dont see the same quality of design in the burbs, as those other factors take over instead.
