I made this vase and everyone comments on It. I made the crushed mirror myself added some grey glitter tile smashed It all up and sprinkled some silver glitter in the mix too! Turned out so beautiful

@@parikhspiecederesistance3958 hi in Ireland we dont sell crushed anything! 🤣 so i had to do everything myself so i bought a glass vase of my choice, bought a cheap mirror, average size and smashed it with a hammer took me a long time, be very careful i smashed it inside of an old towel. When i was happy with the sizes of the smashed mirror i mixed it with silver glitter and some grey smashed tile because i wanted it a little darker grey, then as she did applied mod podge. I love it 2 years later and everyone comments on it.
I dont wash it just dust it with a cloth lightly incase the pieces come off. Its still so shiny very beautiful you will love it good luck!

Mitchalisia here. This is so GORGEOUS !!! I'm thinking I will make my own crushed glass out of old liquor bottles & jars, & even some wine bottles come in other colors, so you could mix clear glass with colored glass also ! Just need to put it in a heavy duty canvas or vinyl bag, crush with a hammer. Use gloves & safety goggles ! You could add metallic silver & other colors of milar confetti filler for extra sparkle & also after you adhere the crushed glass you could coat it with irrediscent nail polish or add jewels or old jewelry/ pearls, the ideas are endless ! & making your own crushed glass is free, & recycling, & you can have an endless supply of crushed glass without spending a fortune on it, as well as crush it how you desire it to be, from fine to extra fine ! I think if you did a lampshade with a glass base lamp, all in crushed glass it would be really BEAUTIFUL !!! Thanks for sharing, it's inspired me with lots of ideas, especially with all the round mirrors that you see on RUclips, this crushed glass would really make them sparkle ! You could even turn an old shoebox into a stunning decorator keepsake box or jewelry box ! Love Love Love !!! 💜💙💚💛💝💜💙💚💛💝😘😘

Hello Miriam, we have several video's that surrounds the application of crushed glass... we also have one on revamping with crushed glass and it shows you how to apply the bigger glass pieces onto your item but you could crush the glass to be smaller by using a hammer that would work also... we hope this answer was helpful 😊

Trina D... We imagine that you could but it's best to keep the orginal color because it naturally sparkles beautifully... if you spray it gold it would look nice but you won't have the sparkle although you can probably apply glitter for the sparkle... we hope this information was helpful 🤗

Thank you!🤗 we didn't apply Mod Podge or a Sealant. You can use Mod Podge or a sealant if you would like... we notice that placing a sealant or Mod Podge takes some of the glitz away.
