Another mistaken is not keeping track on your investment. Keeping track on how much you initially invested, added, moved from one coin to another among other things can give you information about you personal gains and choices. A simple Excel sheet can help in this.
For me the biggest mistake is not having Dry Powder in my account as it has caused me to miss some great entry points and then while steaming with regret I might enter the market at a unadvisable point or not at all.

No1 mistake when i was a noob, buy a coin on an exchange make a 10-20% gain then sell and buy another rising star paying gas fees and exchange fees along the way that ate up most of the profit, long term HODLing has been the most profitable thing for me.

Idk i like the video I had a plan 2 years ago and an exit plan in mind but this is my first bull market. I'm up a lot the strat was just "hold till it hits its new alltime high" Because i bought at 10% of its previous ath. The long term thing isn't for everyone though.
I wouldn't necessarily agree with never adding to a losing trade. If you believe in a project and did your research then averaging down during a dip or crash is a great idea

Yeah but sometimes you’re left hanging onto a shitcoin when you know that another coin is just taking off. Sometimes you do have to just cut your losses and realise you shouldn’t have believed bitboy when he shilled doge when it was at the top of its bubble

Your story about Antshares hit home. I had a very similar incident, where I mined Darkcoin for ages on my PC. Had about 3000 Darkcoins, worth less than a few pence at the time. Lost interest after a while as it was so little money. Few years later, the harddrive packed up, and I had forgotten about the Darkcoin wallet/private key. I went to a workshop, and crushed the harddrive into a small metal cube for funsies. Roll forward to December 2017, where Dash was over $1,000 each. I didnt know at the time that Darkcoin had rebranded as Dash. Long story short, I had 3,000 Dash, worth over $1,000 each at the peak in 2017. Over $3M USD. In reality, I accept I would have never had that money anyway, as if I had remembered at any point, I would have sold them a long time ago. Still, I die a little inside each time I think of this.
When it comes to crypto option or cryptocurrency the lack of strategy is not really a problem, the challenge is finding one that is at least decent and suites you. Because the motivation to learn is just auto charged once someone else starts helping you to earn, spread some of my funds with some traders after I unsuccessfully tried to learn, Elton Stephens was the most notable, tried signing up for his mentorship course then but I was too late and it was pretty expensive for me then but thank God I finally did. I'm happy about the trend right now because people are beginning to have a clear sense why crypto exist; so happy to be born in a time like this.
Keep your paper backup copy in a fireproof safe. Otherwise you can stamp the seed on those cheap plant ID copper tags (as I did) and keep them in a standard safe.
I believe trading Cryptocurrency actually needs experience and someone that has a knowledgeable insight about Trading, that's why a Broker is recommended

No1 mistake when i was a noob, buy a coin on an exchange make a 10-20% gain then sell and buy another rising star paying gas fees and exchange fees along the way that ate up most of the profit, long term HODLing has been the most profitable thing for me.
The biggest mistake for me has been that I only hodled and had no clue how a good trading strategy works.

Idk i like the video I had a plan 2 years ago and an exit plan in mind but this is my first bull market. I'm up a lot the strat was just "hold till it hits its new alltime high" Because i bought at 10% of its previous ath. The long term thing isn't for everyone though.

Your story about Antshares hit home. I had a very similar incident, where I mined Darkcoin for ages on my PC. Had about 3000 Darkcoins, worth less than a few pence at the time. Lost interest after a while as it was so little money. Few years later, the harddrive packed up, and I had forgotten about the Darkcoin wallet/private key. I went to a workshop, and crushed the harddrive into a small metal cube for funsies. Roll forward to December 2017, where Dash was over $1,000 each. I didnt know at the time that Darkcoin had rebranded as Dash. Long story short, I had 3,000 Dash, worth over $1,000 each at the peak in 2017. Over $3M USD. In reality, I accept I would have never had that money anyway, as if I had remembered at any point, I would have sold them a long time ago. Still, I die a little inside each time I think of this.

Because the motivation to learn is just auto charged once someone else starts helping you to earn, spread some of my funds with some traders after I unsuccessfully tried to learn, Elton Stephens was the most notable, tried signing up for his mentorship course then but I was too late and it was pretty expensive for me then but thank God I finally did.
