Couple things: - It's the 1 Line and 2 Line, rather than Line 1 and Line 2. - 2 Line will be running 10 minutes all day every day with 2 car trainsets. When the extension over I-90 opens, 2 Line will run 4 car trains and have a peak frequency of 8 minutes just like the 1 Line. - When I-90 opens, the 2 Line will go all the way up to Lynnwood City Center Station requiring no transfers. - The 1 Line will open to Lynnwood on August 30th of this year (it was just announced a few days ago which is why it wasn't in this video)
This will save so much time for Eastsiders who want to get to the stadiums, Downtown Seattle or the Airport, they won't have to worry about getting stuck in traffic or spending a fortune on parking.
The I-90 link that needs fixing the part I'm most excited for even if we have to wait until next year at the earliest to use it... Especially from a geotechnical standpoint. There's never been LRT over a floating bridge before...
I 100% agree! I am most excited about that part as well. Did you hear the expansion of the Lynnwood rail will officially open in late-August? I will also make a video on that soon. 😁

You actually won't have to transfer to go north in the International District; the 2 line will continue north to Lynnwood.
Is that right?! That would be awesome. Where did you see that? Thank you for watching :)
Hello from Portland, Oregon.... where we have had a functional regional light rail system for THIRTY YEARS
Better late than never! Thank you for watching :)

That’s right! Just about a month from now!

I totally agree! It would be so nice to grab dinner or lunch in downtown Bellevue and get on the rail before a game. Thanks for watching!
