    I love your playing Kris, not only are you talented, but you’ve done what is the most difficult, connecting your heart to your hands, you’re the real deal. The guitars are awesome, I’d like to own one.

    I think the revolt is the most interesting model at Baum. Great video as usual !

    An other brand that I rarely see get any covering in Shergold. the new masqueraders and provocators are really good. I own a masquerader and the neck is fantastic to play, full rosewood ! they really deserve to be known more.

    Nice demo of a nice guitar! Thanks Kris!
    Also, talking about not-everyday guitars: while Paoletti guitars are more traditional (look) but it would be really nice to see (and hear!) some of them in your Gaer Corner!

    Not a big complain, just something for future Baum guitars to keep in mind: Maybe put the toggle-switch somewhere down on the pickguard, because there is a chance of hitting it while strumming.

    If I never saw the headstock I would have guessed it's a Deusenberg and I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing :D

      @@KrisBarocsi I was about to say that their headstock design seemed weird to me. I guess everyone sees something different in them. But the guitars look cool and sound great (in your hands that is not a great challenge Kris 🙂). And they are priced reasonably regarding their appointments.
      They make me think a bit of the Rivolta brand. Original but still vintage enough to appeal to certain players. I am one of them. I don't like Fender and Gibson strats or LP and connect much more with original designs / brands .
      Did you review all the Baum catalog at this point or should we expect other demos ?
      And to finish this rant, great job Kris. This is always a pleasure to watch you play. Often the gear is secondary and I enjoy very much your playing. You are an inspiration for sure !

    • @KrisBarocsi
      @KrisBarocsi  4 месяца назад

      Uhh, tough question. I really enjoyed all of them but I think I still like the Wingman most. Purely because that's furthest from any classic guitar type. Of course if you want the LP vibe, the Revolt is killer and if the strat tone is what you're looking for, the Celestor is crazy good.

      It seemed well balanced, probably because the horns of the body are placed close to the neck. Unlike on an SG. 😅

      Then I’m glad you’re asking! :-) first, all our guitars are designed here in Denmark. That’s, to be honest, the most important part, because it’s here we create the instrument and how the quality of the final product should be.
      We then outsource the production to the right manufacturer. Manufacturers are often better at some models than others, so finding the right takes time. Often a year or two.
      Some of our guitars, like the Revolt, is crafted in Korea. By SP Guitars to be exact. Others are made in Indonesia, China, and of course in our own Danish workshop.
      We are very transparent about where they’re made, but we do not find the country of origin important with today’s technology.
      It’s about partnership, communication and of course quality control with the individual manufacturer that matters most. 😊
      Feel free to ask any questions you have in mind.
      Best,
      Jeppe from Baum.

    Warum schreibst Du nicht einfach, wie viel das Instrument real wiegt? Sorry, aber die vielen Worte über das Gewicht und "light weight" interpretiert jeder anders und hilft mir bei der Bewertung einer Vorstellung überhaupt nicht. Reale Fakten, selbst wenn das Gewicht von Instrument zu Instrument streut, wäre mir persönlich lieber. Auch würde es helfen, eine kleine vergleichende Einschätzung und persönliche Wertung zu vernehmen. Falls ich diese nicht gehört habe, war meine Geduldsspanne bereits am Ende, denn es bürgert sich offensichtlich ein, eher allgemeine und oberflächlichere Einschätzungen zu hören, zumal es von Baum nunmehr bereits mindestens die dritte Vorstellung eines Modells ist. Wäre sehr schade, wenn die Nutzung für den Leser schwindet. Danke.

      Good point and it's around 3.5 KG and may vary with each guitar +/- :-) All the best, Baum.

    • @jorgpetermann1525
      @jorgpetermann1525 Год назад

      Danke für die Info. 3,5kg ist für mich ein total normales Gewicht, für eine solid Guitar, weniger herausragend für eine semi-hollow. Weinbauern 3kg oder weniger wiegen würde, wäre die Einschätzung korrekt. So bleibt meine Vermutung bestätigt, das das Review leicht zu optimistisch ausfällt, indem das Gewicht nicht direkt benannt wird. Schade eigentlich. Und ja, es gibt schwere semi-hollows. Orientiere mich nach meinen eigenen Erfahrungen eher ans schlanken Thinlines wie einigen von Fender. Ein leichtes Holz und gute Fräsung macht es möglich.
