Then you could have a stalemate at the end of the game. When all walls are placed, the game becomes deterministic. If you are going to lose, you will have to move a wall. If you move a wall so you will win, the other player will move the walk back. Since you can only move your pawn or a wall, you just repeat until someone gets bored and forfeits. You could make another rule where you can't move it twice, but then you have to keep track and add rules. This game has some very interesting emergent gameplay from its simple rules already
How about this: Once you have less than 5/3 walls left (for 2/4 player games), you may use your turn to remove a wall and add it to your collection. This way, the opposing player can’t immediately move the wall back, unless he has spare wall. If he doesn’t, he will need to use a turn of his own to pick one up, at which point you can move your pawn through the now removed wall.
For me, the rules are perfect as they are. I just think a wider board with a proportionaly increase in number of walls available would be nice to favor a longer and more complex match.

I remember getting a copy of this game for my birthday way back when I was a kid.
Cool video, BTW.
Bro had a good childhood 😎
Yeah congrats on having awesome parents 😅
Nice improvement on talking about the rules of Quoridor.
Personally, I'd rule fences may be moved once all players are out of fences

Hmm
Fair point
Why not just you can't move a wall that the previous player just moved?
@@djthefox6762 not sure, could be a fun variant. I would have to try it out

I’d love to see Corridor Crew play a game of Quoridor
Fun Fact: "Quoridor" sounds like the russian speaking of "коридор", which is translated as "hall"
It also sounds like corridor which means hall
@@hana-ov1ju it's all about creating halls

Are you able to make a "How to play" video for the game Bamboozled: Bluffing dice game? I'm just confused on proper gameflow
Thanks! Great game!
Can I jump over opponent's pawn to the left or right in a scenario free of any other obstructions?
yes
en passant is not allowed
Is en passant allowed?
Since pawns are not allowed to perform their first two step move option, I don't think it's allowed :(.

Huh. Seems like the game Pathfinder, except the maze is created as you go rather than at the start.
