The coaches didn't use the three in the time Larry bird was playing.Larry buried 649 I his career Bird scored 24.3 points per game in his career on a .496 field goal percentage, an .886 free throw percentage, and a .376 percentage on three-point shots. The rules were different defense then too! Bird did this only playing 889 games. His last sat day 6-7 yea with a back injury and double Achilles surgery and still put up stats that were great. I hate watching these guys that know less than this old grandma.solid just loved your take on this.❤

There should be an ****** next to any scoring done after they change the defense rules to no touch… what are we playing? Flag football now🤪🥴🧐

OK, I kept having to take breaks while watching this, between needing to cool down my anger at that guy's b.s., and stopping to comment because I was so excited and happy to hear you so perfectly address all of it. Man, you should be on the Harvard debating team--you'd kill!
And be funny at it, too; when you said he needs to be spending his time on things other than basketball-- like cleaning his room-- I just cracked up.
I do want to say that, imho, it isn't necessarily accurate to say you can't know basketball without having played it.
Clearly, someone like you, who's both played it and studied it, including the history of the game, is likely to be the most knowledgeable by far.
That said, there are plenty of people who've played the game, and even played it well or even greatly, who manage to be not very knowledgeable about it. There is a spectrum of knowledge, e.g., among NBA players, with guys like Bird at the top end, and...well, I'm sure you can think of some players, including some who went on to be commentators, who seem to come out with plenty of wrongheaded, illogical comments.
And there are a lot of folks who've never played, but have for years watched, loved and respected the game and the great players, who though they can't match your knowledge by a long shot, know a hell of a lot more than many of the RUclips reactors who, even though they've played the game, share this guy's attitudes and opinions-- especially, it seems to me (and I might be mistaken about this part) the younger ones, who seem to feel they don't need to have seriously watched past greats to know they weren't all that great.
And...after this I am going to shut up and refrain from commenting here for a good long while to make up for these two rants I could not hold back after all the time I've been so ticked off about this guy and all the others being so disrespectful to the players on whose shoulders these guys' heroes stand.

I been loving your reactions for ages, but this was an all-time high for me.
I've been watching these smug, arrogant, IGNORANT reactors mouth off about what they don't know jack about, dissing players they should be respecting to the max-- and in some cases, these fools even talk about how if they'd been playing the games they're reacting to, they'd have this-that-and-the-othered-- how they'd have cooked these greats-!!!-- and I practically get apoplexy, I get so frustrated, angry and disgusted after just watching the beginning of their videos.
So I am blissed out that you are taking them on, saying all the things I've been thinking (or at times, shouting at my screen), plus a whole lot more because you know so much more about the game than I do, and have even more facts to shoot these idiots down with.
Go get 'em, tiger....there's a ton of us who have been trying as hard as you are here, to manage our anger when hearing this foolishness, so it's such a relief to hear you tell them what's what, using facts, your knowledge of the history of the game, your understanding of the reasons why they are SO wrong, etc.
I'm loving your managing to hold your outrage down while you hit the b.s. with cool logic and figures-- I also love how funny you are, and like to've fell over when you explained, in a whisper, why it's all about the PER CENTAGE of shots made and couldn't restrain yourself from adding, "you nitwit!" YES, you NITWIT, d-uh-- get a clue, nitwit (and the nitwit could do with some lessons in logic, too, while you're educating him).
You also hit it right when you said these guys are coming from their ego (you didn't use those words, but I don't want to go back to get your exact quote, so I'm just saying the gist). And they all assume they have the right to an opinion, regardless of the fact that they are totally ignorant, never having seriously played, studied or loved the game enough to do either.
They have been giving me stomach aches for too long, and hearing you rebut their empty-headed, arrogant b.s. may actually make that stomach ache go away, so thanks for that as well as everything else you're doing by refuting their gross errors and foolishness.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you again, from a fan who's now an even bigger fan, lookin' forward to the cookin'...and your setting the record straight!
p.s. Sorry this is so long. I get so het up by this guys-- and btw, you picked the guy who drives me the most crazy of all I've seen-- I tried to be fair to him in one comment the first time I watched him, but got so disgusted as I kept watching him after that that I've totally avoided him since then-- that I couldn't help but comment after watching just the beginning...and then that kept happening.
So I'd watch a bit and get all aggravated at the guy's comment and all happy about your response, and have to stop and add more to this comment. This has got to be exponentially longer than any comment I've ever written, and it's that way because that's how infuriated and frustrated I've been, fuming about these guys in general and this guy in particular...and what a HUGE relief it is to hear and watch you just DROWN them in knowlege, facts and logic showing how totally wrong, and sometimes just nutty, their ignorant statements are.

7:08 OK I remember this kid now I can’t handle that voice, so I’m here to support you but I’m gonna turn the sound down maybe send something…. 14:50 actually, I blocked his videos. Yes, I’m still here of course… The thing a lot of people don’t know is there was a number of years of basketball before the NBA ever existed

Well on your first point there are outliers like Scotty Pippen who has said the 90s "wrong way to play basketball." He also got Horace Grant and Luc Longley who might possibly parrot Pippen to become relevant again holy shit its sad. How bitter some ppl have grown
