Recoil pad was definitely the reason why it kicked a bit hard, I had the black and green gel pad and I shot all day without any problem, I agree about the fore-end could have went with a more rounded one but all and all lovley gun.. great reviews 👍
I have one. Color hardening wore off in 2 years. I was carful not to use solvents on it. Nice gun but just a lot of shiny stuff compared to to the silver pigeon I.
Hi Jon, I’m in the process of buying one of these, 12 gauge with American style rounded forend, what puzzles me is why the bottom of the forend juts out as opposed to sitting flush with the action, I thought it was a fault with mine, but looking at various pictures of the gun, they are all the same.but my new 686 sp sporter is flush, can you shed any light? Cheers dan
I love the fact you give honest reviews, Good points and bad.... We'll done and keep it up!!!
The gold engravings are ruffed grouses (from USA and Canada)
Beretta’s always sound so good closing. Really like my 687.

Did you notice much difference with the weight? Know a man who had one and changed to a sp3 limited edition because sp5 was heavier
Could have done with that info about tetra a few months earlier!
Did the Tetra take off all of the color?
Do you sell that ear protection in the shop ? :)
Another good video, I think the gold on the action spoils the gun for me. Loved the ear defenders though.
Safety is always first with The Gun Shop!
Wait were you using leaves as ear plugs.
Better than no protection.
Beretta SO
That checkering is horrendous.
