A few years back while on vacation in NY I dropped into the gallery. Anthony showed me around and was an absolute credit to both his store and Beretta. My visit to the gallery was one of the highlights of my trip. Thank you so much.
Thank you! I am very happy to hear you had a great time at the gallery! Come back again anytime or shoot me a message if you ever have questions- from guns to NYC things...I'm always happy to help!
I just visited your gallery last Friday and I was very impressed by the knowledge of the staff! The were very helpful! I’m a Beretta lover and you have plenty of shotguns to choose from for all levels of shooters! Thank you again and I look forward to visiting the next time I’m up there from my home state of North Carolina.
Oh heck yeah man, I own 3, 2 20 guage and 1 12 guage!!! All of them shoot so smoothly and accurately, I have total confidence in shooting them and I religiously clean them after every shoot or hunt.
April 2013....after 5-6 visits on the 3rd floor ...i buyit....687 silver pigeon lll sporting 12 gauge 32" OB. AFTER 8 YEARS skeet-sporting-dove hunting some thousents rounds the gun its going strong.my opinion...if you live NY and you want beretta the only place is the beretta gallery.thankyou. ΠΤ.
I have the 30" 12g Silver Pig Classic, beautiful wood. I've had to add 6oz of weight to the stock to get the balance over the hinge, it was really muzzle heavy and I was working hard to push through on fast crossers. So, now it's the same weight as the Sporter! Would I better off just getting the Sporter and the benefit of a wider rib and ventilated barrels?!
I had the Sporting model and the barrel marked 3" Mangnum 30".... serial number FXXXXXB.... it's made in Italy. The barrel seems to be no choke installed, can and should install a choke and what is the best choke for hunting small game. Thank you
I've had my silver pigeon 1 field (game) for just over a year. I use it primarily for skeet, trap, and sporting clays. I find the weight to be perfect and would not care for it to be any heavier. The factory butt pad was garbage - thin and hard. I replaced it with a Limbsaver and you can't find a better way to improve an already good gun for $25. After 4 months, I tired of the auto-safety and removed the metal tang - it's now a manual safety just like the sporting gun and it's completely reversible should I want to re-install it....but I'm pretty sure I never will. 12 months in, I have zero regrets, and I would recommend this beretta to anyone considering it.
Question, if someone who is a NYS resident and not specifically a NYC resident, would they just be able to go in and purchase a shotgun without the NYC registration steps and just complete the normal 4473 paperwork or would you need to be a city resident?
you'd just need to do a 4473 instant background check as a NY resident. NYC residents need a NYC Shotgun/Rifle Permit (plus a NY ID with a matching address). For a non-NYC resident, we do not send a registration/transfer document to the NYPD.
* Real bird hunters ( not claybird shooters ) prefer double triggers. Does Beretta offer double triggers as a factory option? If not these guns are nothing more than lighter clay target guns.
@@oldbuzzard76 * You better trade in your crystal ball for a better one. On second thought, you should shut your mouth concerning anything about me. My competition gun is a Berretta SO3 EE LL, that I used for International/Olympic Skeet.
@@cgreeneblue * Well, I'd say you have a hearing problem that corresponds to your lack of understanding, or perhaps, inability to operate a hunting/field shotgun equipped with double triggers. Obviously, you haven't mastered, or even understood, the art of bird hunting with a double barrelled, double triggered shotgun. I'm not talking about shooting pen raised birds.

Simple but informative.
That was the most informative video concerning beretta shotguns

Beautiful Guns , Great Video 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Great video Anthony - really useful info! Happen to have anything on the 686 vs 687 nuances?

Grear video. Are there any differences between them in regards to spent shell ejection?
nope. the ejectors should behave identically.
@@TonyBangs88 Field model doesn't have ejectors.
@@saltyboyfishing Yes they do. Both the field and sporting models have ejectors. The only mechanical difference is the safety.
@@saltyboyfishingFalse.
@@saltyboyfishingI have heard the field model didn't have autoejectors before. Maybe older models?
Excellent review. Many thanks
Can I use Sporting model for hunting?
Sure , just a bit heavier
@@TonyBangs88 thanks.
Great vid, thanks

Hello i have a question i have a Beretta 686 Silver Piguet with manuel safety but i would like to changed in auto safety can i have that done .
Yes! A good gunsmith can convert the safety for you!
Lindas todas as Elas
Hate that automatic safety.
Hi! I have a problem with the beretta silver pigeon ||| 687 Is the insurance manual or automatic?
This question makes zero sense.
@@colt10mmsecurity68 He must be using a translator?
@@cgreeneblue Yeah, I think you’re right. The 687 is a “break open” action shotgun. Double barrel over/under.

If weight is an issue on the field model then why aren't the barrels ventilated on it? I feel dumber for having watched this

They also hang an onion on their belt because that was the style back then...or so I heard.
I'm so sorry you can't afford them .
