I recently came across your channel, and this particular episode gave me immense pleasure to see a Non-Bengali immerse himself in the taste of Jolbhora Sandesh, Dab Chingri, Mochar Pathuri and Fish fry. Most of my North & South Indian friends don't prefer foods cooked in mustard oil. I was absolutely delighted, thrilled to bits to watch you enjoy our cuisine so much and promote the best restaurants in Kolkata. Thank you so much, Sir! I've become your true fan.

Dear Harish - we are Bengalis - stying in New Jersey, USA. We have been following each of your episodes and have seen your growth in the extent you have traveled around India. Being from Kolkata, this series of videos showed the level of detail you explored each dish. While we are very sentimental about our food, you did catch it perfectly - Roshogollas were actually from Odisha.
We cannot express enough how deeply our entire family enjoy your videos. However, I was feeling a bit ashamed of the fact that you went to areas and places to eat that we ourselves haven't been. We truly appreciate the effort you have put in each of these videos.
One more thing we saw- being a Delhi-ite, you have a surprisingly open palate. After seeing your trips to places as diverse as Sikkim, Meghalaya, Kerala, Goa and Odisha (diverse from places like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra), we are clearly impressed with how you have made extensive efforts to explore traditional foods and recipes of each and every place. In the US, we get a lot of exotic ingredients and both my wife and I are avid cooks, but seeing you going through each and every food, visiting kitchens and explaining the origins of each dish has made these videos our most sought after - and we have become your fans!
We follow a number of renowned food vloggers - Mark Weins being the foremost - and I can confidently state - you are on the way to becoming India's answer to Mark Weins. We wish you all the best and we will continue being your most ardent followers!!

Outstanding video as always. Your presentations, your comments and your love of food is so obvious. You seem so genuine; I feel like I am eating that food with you. I will never be able to travel to Calcutta and eat that delicious food; but you made me feel like I was right there enjoying those 3 desserts and other dishes with you. Bravo ! Love and respect from Pakistan.
