Im more of a country person. But have not seen any videos that show "living in the country" For example towns like Watertown, Whites Creek, Lebanon or even Cookeville. Homes with acreage with no highway noise for example.

Good point! Some suburbs are indeed more expensive or just as expensive.
Any thoughts on Greenville area. We going to be looking around this area in July. I know it's not near Nashville but any thoughts. We don't care about schools since we are retired. Just want to be around nature and the great outdoors and not close to neighbors.
Greeneville is a small town in TN, enriched with history. If you prefer a small town living, Greeneville might be a good place for you in East TN. Feel free to send us an email and we're happy to provide you some extra pros and cons and resources about Greeneville.

Most fastest growing cities you can expect horrible traffic and higher cost of housing. Beautiful place but you will pay for it.
