Having different tabs so I can switch between notes is one of the most needed features in Snotes. All other features are more or less fancy and you can do away with them.

You can keep multi tab open and your annotations are valid over any app. With apps like samsung notes it converts your pdf to image and than treats it as a image. You can't book mark, underline etc. And for note taking haven't found any worthwhile app so won't recommend but still good notes has been released to Android so you can try it, it has that feature.

All these notes should work on a common API. If one is using goodnotes, notability or Samsung notes. They can't transfer their notes. Moreover goodnotes, and notability is not available for android so even If I wanted to use good notes on Samsung tablet I couldn't do the same. Snotes is not available for any other android device or iOS. GoodNotes and Notability have good market to capture they should develop for android which eventually will become a larger market as digitization and digital notebooks become more and more common. Now Andorid tablets with stylus (Xiaomi, Samsung added Tab S8 ultra, Lenovo, Oppo) have been released in 2022, there will be more demand for the same.

I have the new Mac book and iPhone but I also have a Samsung tablet and asus zen book, it frustrates me that my note don’t sync, it’s would be great to ambave an AI note book that works for both. Not a fan of Onenote and love to use both my tablet and MacBook for lectures and note taking. There is a big empty hole in the market for Goodnotes to take on but their new goodnotes for Android is horrific

Honestly, I just had my Samsung tablet two weeks ago, and Samsung Notes is really good for taking notes. You just have to get use to the app and the pencil before going to College, so you can be efficient in class while taking notes.

If you own a samsung tab then use samsung notes with samsung internet. There is zero latency when you write with stylus add a paperlike screen guard and it will feel like a smart text book. Laser pointer is pointless.

@@jdngo you can't open multiple notes at once. Like goodnotes have tabs you can seamlessly switch from one to other which is quite useful. Also it's not useful for pdf, no bookmarks, annotations etc. basically whatever a pdf application will give you so you don't have cross compatibility.
@MrGarg10may, hey) I believe that paying $10/month is too much for a feature that can be used just once in a lifetime. I never worked on two or more notes at the same time. One task at a time to not be distracted.
Most of the unique features of GoodNotes are not useful for me. Also, please note that Samsung Notes is a completely free and Samsung's self-made app.

Spen. Its more comfortable and has a more natural feel on the screen. Apple pencil doesnt have enough friction to feel natural enough.

For multitasking you should go for a larger screen space
