Easy to make strobe light using a relay and a few other components.
Explained perfectly. You moved many people forward. Wise teacher.
Brother you're a hero this video showed me how to setup my trailer tester turn signals
I searched for days how to figure this out for my electronic blow off valve controller and I'm using this for the 12-volt solenoid to trickle and out of all of this other videos this is the only one that actually worked
Very good, especially the frequency control by capacitor. Congratulations!!!
i know I'm pretty off topic but do anybody know of a good website to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Danny Joseph flixportal =)
@Caleb Lyric thanks, I signed up and it seems to work :) I really appreciate it!
@Danny Joseph you are welcome :)
Well done, this world needs somebody like you LS!!!!!!
This circuit would be great for a old school photographic effect.
Good explanation on the oscillator and the relay. Congrats
3:03. 1khz from a relay😮
Thank you.
Peace and love from Liverpool England ✌🏼❤️
Thank you, this helped me to understand how it works!
Interesting demonstration of a RC network in action.
Great lesson about rele. Thank you for the knowledge, Professor. I really like your channel.
another great simple video. thanks a lot for the great work you do. Gracias.
Awesome Uncle, U r the BEST practical teacher on RUclips !!! Luv ur videos !
Great explanation and detail, talk about learn something new every day, thanks.
Loved the video.
Thanks you for your time and effort.
Really enjoyed the video. Thank you for sharing
This guy, you're amazing
i want to fix same for a 12v led on my car...to flash with the same speed...what i need to use?...Thank you
Once again....awsome one...
Thank you
What if we add one potentiometer in series with the cap to slow down its charging?
So the LED is directly across the battery with no series resistance?
Will that work with a solid state relay ???
I would change the duty cycle, by connecting the negative of the LED to the N.O. contact of the relay, to give briefer flashes.
maybe you deserve a nobel peace prize
Of course
So this circuit with the capcitors will work on the 12V ignition system coil as well?
love this channel!
Can you make a wiring diagram like you have in previous videos?
I've got 4 pins 30,85,86,87 now which wire connect to power ,to ground ,to capacitor, and coil high voltage,?
Hello sir,
Nice demonstration...
I have one question..
If i want same effect for my 65 watt LED....then do i need to change relay and capacitor size ?
Please guide me.
Great Videos!
doesn't the coil produce back emf to led ??
Great video ... thanks :)
You have any formula to check the frequency by capacitor
what is the size of the elco volt for a 12 volt lamp

it would be awesome if you could build similar circuit using a scr/triac
yes I´ll try
Nice video.
Where did you got the transparent relay?
Thank you for sharing master
hello, would like sine help on some project i want to do, how do i get in touch with you??
Hello Ludic science i follow from weeks your great channel. I have a question because you are passionate like me of eletromechanical devices are you able to replicate the simple nerst lamp and do a strobe light with it?
Very interesting! I would love to make one, I just need to figure out where to get the zirconia heating element
Can i use this on a contactor?
The design is pretty good, but it may cause a damage for the relay, I think that the rely will be destroyed if put at prolonged duration in this oscillating configuration.
Very juicy information I like I like
Sir which relay value need for 30 w led strobe light project ?
@Box Bi - A 30W LED at 12V DC is only about 2.5Amps. So a 12V - 5Amps Relay will be adequate!
hi you never mentioned what is the value of first and second capacitor...may i know how much the value ?thank you
2nd capacitor same only "1000uf 25V
Saudações. Muito inteligente e simples. Um relé, capacitores para controlar a frequência e resistores. O electromagnetismo está em tudo. Parabéns. Tudo de bom.
You should have used a variable capacitor for adjusting the strobe frequency
I think it will pretty hard to find a variable capacitor in the 100-200 uF range. They are usually made in the nF
that would short the relay
@@maxxiang8746 - You are right! It can be done, but with mistakes, it will short the relay!
Use a multi pot switch with different caps as options
God Bless You!
did old car blinkers/turn lights work on the same concept?!
btw, keep up the great work
bm830810 usually no - they used a bimetallic reed that was bend under the current flow to the lights, and disconnected the lights. After cooling down it bended back and reconnected the circuit. That is also why the lights blinking frequency changed when one of the blinker lights was burned out - because the current flow was different.
seems like an interesting way to do it, thanks
Jozef Lipták Thanks
@@bm830810 - The newer cars use relay to do it for LED lights :)
@@obnovec - 100% + Same principle with " old " Xmas blinking lights.
Is a diode needed for reverse voltage
Not in this case.
LED: Light emitting diode
@@snaj9989 - The question was.... " Is a diode needed for reverse voltage ". *Learn how to read + comprehension!* LOL
@The420chemist
- The Flash Rate is too fast, there is no need for a diode.
Could you use this with a higher frequency and drive a flyback coil?
No, flybacks need several KHz
Ludic Science
Okay that makes sense. Thank you very much for the fast response. Thanks for your hard work as well.
Best explain
How we can change the frequency without change the capacitor
Excellent Teacher!
i thought you were gonna make a mechanical boost converter to drive the led at 12v input
That would be awesome!
sure and couple hundred volts of induced voltage from coil. Did you ever hear about diode ?
Did you ever hear about a demonstration
Cool idea - just be careful. Please be aware that *Regular flashes cause epileptic fits*
Nice !Like !
Amazing........
Para los latinos, por favor, un diagrama de su circuito. Gracias
Interesting project though
Diagram sir
Do you have ah diagram sir
Cela doit consommer plus de courant qu'avec un transistor ou un circuit intégré je ne vois pas trop l'utilité de ce montage. Surtout qu'un relais doit coûter plus cher en plus.
But it still going to fast how to make strobe like aircrafts
como siempre amigo, buen video.like
First...
To lie about being first..
(Not my idea, i saw this from another comment in another video)
May include epilepsy lol.

That setup makes ugly elektrosmog
What the hell i just watched???
You should name it as " How to Spoil expensive Leds brutally.
they're not that expensive nowadays unless you go for a Yuji LED...
Just shut up , appreciate the creativity tans that led is at max 8-10$
he isnt really damaging it though
