    TY for making a free version ✨️ I am disabled & have a monthly budget that's half the current poverty level & started this DIY journey bc (After scraping to buy a few ingredients) it Will be less expensive than the current products I am using. The endless content available on "how to" on this subject is overwhelming to say the least & very rarely are questions, especially newbie one's, answered. I'm going to get the new one today, yay! Silver lining of having brain damage & forgetting so much is I have lotsa room for new stuff😂😂😂 not sorry for my dark humor 😜

    I signed up for the paid version immediately! I've just started going through it yesterday, taking my time as not wanting to zoom through it and miss anything that should be cataloged into my brain. I'm so excited to break out of my comfort zone of following recipes and start making my own formulations. I made a huge batch flop before by following someone's recipe and learned to start small as you suggest. I've learned so much from you already, Marie, and truly appreciate all your time, energy, and experience that you share with us! 😊

      I can't wait to hear what you think of it! ❤️
      I'm afraid selling really isn't my area of expertise; my advice on insurance is generally to join the HSCG if you're American or the HBBG if you're Canadian and purchase the insurance offered through them. The policies are developed precisely for people who sell handmade products + the pricing is much better than going it alone :)
      Happy making!

    I am excited about this and am seriously considering the expanded one. Do you cover other products (formulations) in the skincare category like cleansers or moisturizers, or is it butters only?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  5 месяцев назад +1

      All the formulations in both versions of the course are anhydrous, made from an intentionally short list of ingredients to keep things as accessible as possible (and to show you just how *incredibly* varied products made from these simple ingredients can be! Project 5 is really really cool for that 😄). That said-the broader strategies and skills you'll learn for customization, experimentation, and beginning to think like a formulator will absolutely carry through to everything else you could want to create!
      You can check out the full contents for both (including formulation titles) here: www.humblebeeandme.com/2024-diy-beginners-course/.
      I am planning on offering more workshops in the future that will cover other product types more deeply. I did one last year on shampoo bars that you might've seen (workshops.humblebeeandme.com/courses/shampoo-bar-workshop) 😊

I WISH 😅 This was a particularly good hair day (so a perfect day to film something LOL). I haven't signed up for the shampoo bar formulations yet. But I really want to. I've made a few. I have made two using your recipes. No offense, I really want to formulate my own. Or at least somewhat my own. I'm working on conditioner bars. But I find that my shower floor feels a little greasy, and I hate that. I was wondering if I added some polysorbate in the formulation. Could I get rid of the slip and slide that is now my shower floor? What do you think?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  4 месяца назад +1

      It's definitely worth a try! You could also try reducing the % of richer fatty things in the formula :)
      And absolutely ZERO offence taken-I literally created the shampoo bar workshop so you can stop following my shampoo bar formulations and create your own 😄

    • @user-cj9kl5uq8j

      @HumblebeeAndMe thank you so much...I'm working on my formulation now. I have Btms 50, cetyl alcohol, just a little stearic acid. Mango and cocoa butters, a splash of castor oil and Jojoba oil. Equal parts glycerin and polysorbate 80, but this time, I added some guar gum. If that still leaves a greasy film, I'll cut out the liquid oils. Thanks so so much.
