Another great video Sven!!! My forehand volley is way better than my backhand. Especially when adding slice to the shot. So this video will be a great help for me. ;) Thank you. VAMOS!!!!
Thank you @sven for considering my request for the backhand volley technique video. Fantastic video as always! One other request is the fact that there is minimal content online on tactical points (for example when a backhand player can/cannot take a point vs. his forehand partner). I know that sometimes for example a backhand player can have the priority to take a ball if his forehand partner will get out of position, but there are positioning tactical points that need covering, right? Vamoosssss!
Buenísimos consejos Sven. Me ayudan bastante a mejorar, muchas gracias por tomarte el tiempo de hacerlos. Si podrías hacer algunos videos de ejercicios que podamos hacer solo o con la pared. Saludos desde Paraguay.
Excellent video! I might need 10 weeks to digest and will for sure try to apply it during games. This is very nice extra information om top of the lessons that we are following 😀 Thanks!
Hi I’m new to the sport and find your videos inspiring and educational, well done 👍🏼. Do you have a video regarding returning the ball after the ball hits the back glass. I find my self often kind of only pushing the ball forward and not a real stroke to the ball ending in easy returns for the opponents. And by the way, I think we have to work on the Swedish for the videos 😂😘 I help you learn some new words 😉 Kind regards Andreas
Thank you Andreas! Glad you like it! I do have some videos with the backwall! You can have a look on our playlistst. Pushing is good, you don’t want to hit the ball hard. Just on the feet of the net player.
Some teachers emphasize that your left hand creates some 'pre-tension' on the racket, not just for the backhand volley but also for the normal backhand. What's your take on that Sven ?
Totally agree! Most importantly it keeps your body fully turned! When the ball is coming it helps you body to turn; and then it helps you to keep your body that way
How do you create pre tension for the forehand volley? Doesn’t it feel unnatural to have the left hand pressing the racket out (i.e. to the right) to create tension?
In my case I think they are more or less the same. I have this problem that I am finding difficult to correct, The footwork, I usually stand with both of them facing the front and I just move the arms. Any tips or drills to improve this? Many thanks and congrats for your videos, you make this sport funnier. Vamos 💪
Amazing video. My forehand and backhand volleys are quite similar, both are awful. 😂. But my forehand is progressing properly. I hope to improve also the backhand one.
From a collection of great vids, this isn’t your very best...all volleys played from the left court, what about us right courters? Our backhands are in the middle and exposed...!
@@OtroNivelPadel from the right court I can get a better shape from the middle backhand volley hitting cross court but this has flaws re positioning, it’s the backhand to the middle I struggle with, I play it too close to the body, don’t turn the body and drop the head of the racket and the ball floats up....very hard to correct!
Its absolutly possible to correct! But you have to truly believe that you can improve! Start with one item! I learned my volleys in front of mirror, because I was making the same mistake over and over again. Not anymore. You can improve Dominic. Vamos 💪🏼
Superb tutorial today... well done!
Thanks!

@@OtroNivelPadel Thanks Sven for the fast response 🙏. I will take a look in the playlist. Skitbra!!!
Great stuff, loved the input especially about the stiff wrist, I think this is the first time I’ve heard that specifically 👍🏻
Thanks! Yes super important!

Thanks Javier, I am sure you can improve the volleys soon!
Muito bom, tem ajudado a melhorar meu jogo!
Can you show when you play a serius match?
Great idea, will think of that!
Superrr Svenn !! 🔝
Grazie amigo!
Informative
Thank you!
Great video!!
Thank you!
Great video, as usual!! :)
I want to play the backhand volley like Juan Martín Diaz!!! But..., NOT WAY AT ALL!!! Ha, ha, ha!!!
Haha yes, I would like that too! Lets keep pushing💪🏼💪🏼
great video!
Thanks!
BH is more consistent , FH volley more attacking .
A very good video :)
Super! Thank you!
Niet akkoord dat je niet scoort met bh volley. Ari Sanchez... a la reja. Ikzelf naar bh kant van tegenstander in rechterhoek.
Ik denk dat we WPT geen graadmeter is voor ons. Zeker beginners/advanced spelers moeten vooral rustig opbouwen
From a collection of great vids, this isn’t your very best...all volleys played from the left court, what about us right courters? Our backhands are in the middle and exposed...!
I think there is not a very big difference because the playing direction should be the same

My backhand volley is horrible...
Keep training on it 💪🏼💪🏼
backhand better
Nice, mine as well. Do you know why your backhand is better?
@@OtroNivelPadel tennis background, my onehand backhand was pure so I mostly play slice
