England is a great football nation but for whatever reason we just stopped producing top level managers. 0 Prem Wins and 0 Champions League wins! 91/92 First Division (Howard Wilkinson-Leeds) and 1984 European Cup (Joe Fagan-Liverpool) are the last times one of our own won one of the big 2 club trophies for an English club, since then and indeed since 1966 the national team has fared no better, it's stupid and arrogant for anyone to dismiss foreign coaches when this is what we have produced.

History showed that WC winning managers manage the countries they were from. This could be different, but for starters, Tuchel hasn’t managed internationally (it’s different from club level) and the UCL run he went on was in 20/21. But also, he could be the first to win for WC like the German coach for Greece in 2004.

You made some great points but the English manager doesn’t have to be prem proven or do they have to be equal to what other nations have. Portugal and Croatia didn’t have “big managers”. Tuchel isn`t a known international manager though, all of his success is at club football.
he will have far less time to get things right, and far less time to correct it, then he would when challenging for league titles and champions leagues.

@poptraxx418 took over bayern and made them worse, made them lose their first league title in 10 years. He didn't win the champions league in a full season, it's something Roberto Di Matteo did too. He won the league with PSG but every manager has done that in the last 15 years pretty much. He hasn't done anything special. What is he known for, like what team are we like "ahh he did an amazing job with them"?

Dominated France. If it wasn't for kane missing that penalty, I think we would have won.
