Such an exotic home, worthy of this beautiful turtle. Her colors and markings are adorable, especially the flirty flipped-up hemline of her shell. Does she have a name? I'd call her Poppy. 🧡 Thanks for sharing her arrival with us.
I've been following you guys ever since the snake discovery build off (which by no surprise you guys WON!) and you never cease to amaze me with what incredible and beautiful habitats you create for your animals ❤😊
I also watch Blake,he has some awesome turtles& tortoises of his own!you always put together the most awesome enclosures, you and Casey did an awesome job,and the turtle..what a beautiful sweet shell baby🐢
That enclosure is unbelievably beautiful! What a lucky little turtle, who's own beauty will fit right in. Do you actually have the lights and sound programmed to recreate thunderstorms in there, or was that just for the sake of this video? If you do, how incredible is that?!
She is a beautiful turtle, and a truly gorgeous vivarium for her to live in until she grows too big. It would be nice to see a tree frog or two in there, just to populate the cork wall a bit more. I’m not sure how she would co-habit with a larger salamander, but frogs would be a nice touch. Thanks for sharing the wonder.🖤🇨🇦
You seriously make the best enclosures ever! The animals are lucky to have you guys. Side note : I laughed at the mega cheesy early 90s school program/infomercial background music, it sounds like something you would hear in a D.A.R.E or drivers Ed video 😂
This really helped me bc after chrsitmas im gettin my first ever tortoise Like to fully look after and super exsiced And its goin be called mango Thanks for the great talk and exsplainin when doin the cage.
I think she should share it with some bright and/ or milky forest frogs .... that would definitely thrive in a tropical rainforest! and they could stay there after she out grows it.
Thanks! Bioactive setups really do not need any upkeep. Aside from trimming the plants and making sure the water level stays sufficient enough for the pump to function is about it.
I used to keep Centeal American Ornate Woods, R. Phulcerima. Most destructive turtle ever, they poop like cows as soon you clean the water area, flip everything up side down and crush/eat any plant. I gave up and sold them😂
Hi Garden State! I love your content so much and I have a question I have been thinking about. Do all turtle species lay eggs without actually mating and most of all I'd love to know if box turtle females will lay eggs without a mate?
I have a question i saw your website about all testudo graeca species but I didn't find any info on how to distinguish each subspecie even though there are pics of each subspecie is really hard to tell. Is there a way of how to identify them in a book, pdf file, forum? I will be very happy if you answer my question. Thanks a lot!!
What's the name of the place in Chicago? I need to create something indoors because I've ruined the carpeting in Charlie's room and it is now his room so I need to do it right!
Wow This Turtle is Living the best life epic set up!
Thanks again brotha
So cool for the donation! Thanks Blake!😊
Your setups look better than most zoos I've been to, and this is no exception.
Wow thank you!!
Great set up some dart 🐸
Wow what an incredible enclosure to house such a beautiful reptile!😊
Thank you 🙏🏻
Some incredible habitat artistry on display!! Hope your Turtle buddy loves it. ❤🐢

You both always create the nicest enclosures! It was fun to watch this build come to life.
🐢❤️🐢
Thank you Lori 🙏🏻

Thank you so so much
Wow ZooMed and Blake hooked you up with enough to make a epic enclosure, great job you guys are amazing :-)
They really did 👍🏻
They really did! The turtle is super cute and the enclosure is gorgeous!
I also watch Blake,he has some awesome turtles& tortoises of his own!you always put together the most awesome enclosures, you and Casey did an awesome job,and the turtle..what a beautiful sweet shell baby🐢
All your animals are so beautiful and well-taken care of. I can ensure you your animals will live long, happy lives! Gray job.

Another absolutely incredible enclosure for sure. Thanks for sharing...
Absolutely gorgeous. One lucky turtle.😊

Very nice simulation of their native environment.
Beautiful enclosure. Wow!
Thanks!
Awesome! Blake has a great place. I've followed him for awhile!
Awesome 👍🏻
That is the most beautiful enclosure!!!
It's a beautiful enclosure!
Thanks!
That enclosure would be perfect for black breasted leaf turtles you guys did an awesome job going to have one happy turtle 👍
This came out so beautifully! Vivarium from you and a terrarium from SerpaDesign, what a great Sunday. 😊
Thank you 🙏🏻
Nice enclosure build, I can see Poison Dart Frogs live in it 🙂👍🐢
Me too and thanks!
@@GardenStateTortoise your welcome
I like this enclosure sooo much you can put in the poison dart frogs after the turtle is big enough to get out of it
That enclosure is unbelievably beautiful! What a lucky little turtle, who's own beauty will fit right in. Do you actually have the lights and sound programmed to recreate thunderstorms in there, or was that just for the sake of this video? If you do, how incredible is that?!
Haha thank you! My wife does all the editing and she created that scene on her own. The lighting does make “lightening” strikes though. Pretty cool.
Beautiful, and he looks very intelligent, too!
Edit: the enclosure is wonderful!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Absolutely Stunning 😮❤😮❤
Thank you 🙏🏻
Beautiful n awesome fabulous new turtle. You two work really well together. That's a beautiful awesome new enclosure.
Thank you!
Wow.. that is really nice !
Super cool setup

She’d probably eat it but we do have a salamander 😊
@@GardenStateTortoise Well, you can’t blame a girl for having an appetite lol.🖤🇨🇦
Great enclosure. I’ve seen you two in a competition build on Snake Discovery. Lucky turtle, Ruby.
Thank you!!
Thanks for posting. i just got an ornate wood turtle a few days ago. It's a similar species .really nice enclosure.
Really nice enclosure
Thank you 🙏🏻

Great video man, my eastern hermanns just dropped eggs yesterday and the anticipation of getting my Apulias from you is so real can’t wait for those 😍
Nice!!!
This really helped me bc after chrsitmas im gettin my first ever tortoise Like to fully look after and super exsiced And its goin be called mango Thanks for the great talk and exsplainin when doin the cage.
Wonderful!

We want an update on Mickey!!! love her ❤
How cool, you really do care a lot about your animals ❤
Thank you 🙏🏻
I love all ur videos and animals! CAN U PLEASE DO A TOUR OF ALL UR ANIMALS and THERE IN CLOSERS?? EVEN IF THE VIDEO IS A HOUR LONG!!! Please
Looks perfect for the black breasted leaf turtle.
True but he’s already got a huge enclosure. Maybe we’ll just get more!
You should, I'd have a bunch if I could afford them. :😀
Snake would love that
I love the habitat build videos!
😊🙏🏻
Wow 😀 that is AWESOME🥰👍
Thank you 🙏🏻
I’d love to see various compatible anole species go in there next
LOVE ANOLES
This is awesome, ZooMed hooked you guys up!!!. Curious, are those plants artificial or real?
Thanks! Both fake and real
@@GardenStateTortoise and there’s never an issue with the tortoises trying to eat the artificial plants?
That is a beautiful habitat! How (and how often) do you clean up turtle poop and leftover food?
Absolutely beautiful! You did an awesome job! Would a tropical setup like that also work for a small redfoot tortoise, or would it be too damp?
It's an environmental simulator. That's epic.
Epic introduction.
Thanks John!!
If you're going to snake Discovery to do the build off I suggest putting a lot of what you just showed in it
Thriller la la
I know it’s not a turtle but dart frogs would be cool in that enclosure…
My vote goes for a pink tongue skink or another type of small tropical skink, maybe crocodile skinks?
Croc almonds would be awesomeness
This is amazing... But would it realistically be a lot of work for upkeep?
Thanks! Bioactive setups really do not need any upkeep. Aside from trimming the plants and making sure the water level stays sufficient enough for the pump to function is about it.
@@GardenStateTortoise well... in theory, sure. I think it often does not work out that way
@@willfungusman8666 for us it always has maybe for some it hasn’t
Could you make a enclosure tutorial for your iguanas? I am interested in having an outdoor enclosure.
I used to keep Centeal American Ornate Woods, R. Phulcerima. Most destructive turtle ever, they poop like cows as soon you clean the water area, flip everything up side down and crush/eat any plant. I gave up and sold them😂
This is beautiful but how did ants get into the tank.?
Tropical frogs.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Garden State! I love your content so much and I have a question I have been thinking about. Do all turtle species lay eggs without actually mating and most of all I'd love to know if box turtle females will lay eggs without a mate?
Damn that would've costed $500+ For entire set up?
Damn thats cool. But, whats the day to day maintenance like on an enclosure like this??
Thanks. There isn’t any because it’s bioactive. No cleaning, just trimming plants back down the line as they grow.
This reminds me of poison dart frog exhibits I’ve seen at some zoos. Could the fake bromeliads hold water and be utilized by egg laying females?
I believe they can!
I have a question i saw your website about all testudo graeca species but I didn't find any info on how to distinguish each subspecie even though there are pics of each subspecie is really hard to tell. How do you clean enclosures?
Did you guys add the ants for the turtle? As live in snack inhabitants?
It was by accident 🤣
What's the name of the place in Chicago? I need to create something indoors because I've ruined the carpeting in Charlie's room and it is now his room so I need to do it right!
First time here. Won't tge turtle try to eat fake stuff?
Thanks for watching. No, especially since this species is primarily carnivorous but also eats fruits. We’ve used fake plants for 30 years now.
@@GardenStateTortoise ok as I said iam new so forgive me.
Great job
