    Welcome to the kitchen! In this video I share ways of eating that are best suited for each Human Design type. Generators, Projectors, Manifestors and Reflectors! We are all energetic beings, and food is energy. From my years of living by, working with and teaching Human Design, I have seen how there are unique forms of nourishment that really serve each type.

    Great advice! I'm a generator and I've noticed that when I try to eat what science says whe all "should" sometimes my body just rejects it and I can't even finish the meal. I've been trying to let my sacral decide and it's a crazy ride 😅 Sometimes I need more fruits, sometimes I need salad, sometimes I need meat, sometimes don't want meat at all. Learning to trust that my body knows what it needs better than me.

    So interesting. I’m a generator and I noticed when I hold certain food I can feel the energy. Like when I hold anything green (lettuces, kale, etc) my mouth starts salivating. It’s the weirdest thing!

      I soooo know that feeling. It's amazing how the body can be so intelligent and responsive when we listen.

    True I’m a projector and am more sensitive to food than others. A little histamin intolerance too. Lighter foods usually go to, but sometimes also really grounding foods.

    My daughter is a manifestor, cold thirst. When she wants something she wants something lol. I find in general with a manifestor the best thing you can do is just support and encourage them to stay within their own power and to trust in their own voice. They are powerful but don't always know what to do in that power (a little imposter syndrome if you will-unless this is just a little more common for my 5/1). You make a really good point about staying away from a lot of influencers or looking so much to what people are doing and turning back to one's own power and actual wants. With me being a generator, she's actually awesome at helping me figure out what I'm going to make some nights when I'm usually happy to cook but can't decide what to make, some days it's too open or I could eat everything or nothing but she almost always knows what she'd like me to make lol. I did pick tonight though, we're having stir fry!

      So great that you really honor her S+A and provide that space for her to lead, and even teach you! That's the future right there. Energetically informed parenting. I love working with families, especially mamas and babies with HD energetics. Always love hearing shares of people who are integrating it.

      @@WhentheStarsAligned HD was the shift that changed so many dynamics in our relationship for the better. It couldn't have come at a better time either (for her, the dreaded post-covid time). It gives her a sense of footing that she didn't understand she had available to her (as well as taught me where to pick my battles). I couldn't help but teach her, she is so much "her chart" that even she can't deny it lol. It's beautiful to see it working! Thanks for being a part of our journey!

    I'm a generator and a buzzing/nervous touch type, and I love variety. And a solid midnight snack over a good book lol. Do you have super sensitive hands? Like, germs and stuff aside, I can't come home and not wash my hands because needing to touch a lot of things in public makes my hands feel "dirty", but even when I'm cooking I can't process one thing and then just move on to the next, I need to wash or rinse and dry my hands in between even chopping two veggies. It's kind of annoying lol. I'm not OCD or anything just super sensitive hands. Feet too but thankfully I don't need to cook with those or use them to select a pepper XD

    Hi Kelly.Thank you, I enjoyed the video very much ☺️ some of the points seemed true to me. I am an emotional projector and also a former pro athlete .I counted a lot of macros for a long time , that's why the mind comes into play rather than the intuitive +still success comes first 😂 I also realized that eating small and often was good for me instead of large portions, maybe it was because of the open sacral.

      Very cool! Thankyou for sharing :) I think the smaller, regular portions is so good for projectors, because yes, you don’t have the sacral definition. Little kicks of energy throughout the day to keep your nourished and resourced 🙌✨

    interesting take. in some ways, i'd figure it'd be most straightforward for Generators (and MGs), simply following the sacral response. and or perhaps those with either splenic or sacral authority, given that quick innate body guidance.
    i've also contemplated the potential disparity between such responses and PHS guidance before. like, my PHS is indirect, where apparently it's best to eat during days when light out - YET, i've NEVER been a breakfast person (even my mom confirmed was same when a toddler), with body-response to eat coming later in days, often with the most AFTER sunset. contradictory to PHS theory, but seems like it'd be following not-self to eat based on the theory rather than body's actual response. 🤷‍♂

      I agree, does feel more straightforward for the Generator folk. And you strike an interesting convo here on the overlap / disparity of PHS and Type. I feel like if there were a value placed upon them of lesser or greater influence (which I know there technically is not) that the type/response would take precedence over the determination. Even if only slightly. It feels more 'close to the core of someone'.
      I always like to remember with the PHS as well that its really about OVERALL digestion of ENERGY, yes, food. AND, could be energy, emotions, experiences, reflections... any noticing if with your direct determination you tend to process energy/thoughts/feelings/creativity more in the daylight hours?

      @@WhentheStarsAligned don't feel/have a clearcut answer to that… was a “night owl” for years so woulda previously based an answer on that, though things have been shifting recently. yet, still feels either ‘random’ or more correlated with different unpredictable waves rather than consistent timing of day/night cycles. 🤷‍♂

    I watched the video but I am still not sure what type of food I should be eating and what human design type I am. Is there a way I could find out what type I am?

      Though it seems I might be eating the wrong type. I don't seem to get a lot of energy by whatever food I eat.

      This is just 1 component of HD and health. There is also your determination type which is more specific. I believe Jenna Zoe's website offers a free quiz which tells your what yours is.
      Also, health is so much bigger than HD, too. So maybe experiment with others pathways that you are drawn to to support your physical wellbeing :)

    As a generating manifester 5/1 (type O-) I have found 90% raw plant based is the best! A small cooked meal a day or every other day w/ 2oz meat/fish :)
