    What is in this video:
In this video training, I discuss current World Number One golfer Scotty Scheffler and PGA Tour player and how he overcame his own mental obstacles to win the Masters tournament. I highlight the importance of expanding one's comfort zone to achieve success. Scotty woke up on the final day of the Masters with a three-shot lead but felt overwhelmed and unprepared. His Small Game, which is designed to keep him safe and comfortable, took over. To overcome this, Scotty needed to bring his Big Game, the mindset that allows for success and growth. I make the point that when the stakes are high, there is a greater chance for the Small Game to show up.
However, Scotty was able to shift his mindset with the help of his wife, who challenged his belief system and suggested that there might be a bigger plan at play.
By reframing the situation and questioning what else it could mean, Scotty expanded his comfort zone and allowed his Big Game to show up. He was able to perform to his best abilities and win the tournament.
I go on to explain that the Small Game shows up when our brain perceives something as outside our perceived comfort zone, but by challenging and reframing our thinking, we can change our self-talk, thinking states, and actions.
I introduce the Winner Game, a critical part of the Big Game Performance Method, to expand one's comfort zone and achieve success. It involves questioning the meaning we assign to events, considering alternative interpretations, and finding new empowering meanings. By being our own best friend and embracing the Big Game, we can set ourselves up for success and perform at our best, regardless of the outcome.
The presenter also mentions that he uses these strategies with his twin boys and encourages others to apply them in sports and entrepreneurial pursuits.
The video concludes with an invitation to access a guide for further information.
