Germany looks really serious, they're really underrated but for me a podium could be possible. They have a team full of talent in every spot and some good nba players and most important they have a great chemistry on the court.

A great game would mean a complete game and victory. They had great stretches but not an entire game. USA didn’t have their best game and still won.

No. You are giving too much credit to international rules. The game looked good because they were good players with good coaching playing against one another.
The normal NBA roster lacks competent players playing for the right reasons, with good coaching, or even playing to win.
The shorter 3 makes the lane more congested. The rules allow big men to camp in the lane more which muddies the game.
This game looked good because there were good players and good coaching by both teams all playing with a cause.
@@semi6544 bro, fiba basket-ball is waaay more interesting than nba. Nba lack of defense and good coaching. Euroleague for example lack of individuals skills but the gap with NBA decrease everyday. And they play together like poetry. When im watching a NBA game im like, why are they goig under the screen despite it's a shooter, why the coach don't take a time-out and make a play despite losing the ball 5 times in a row, and other details like that. With FIBA rules in NBA, the game understanding will increase and we'll able to watch some incredibles athletes play incredible Basket-ball
@semi6544 the paint being clog is exactly why the game was nice and why you saw HIGH LEVEL BASKETBALL. The players are focused to play at a high level to score cause it's harder to. Easy defense/open lane=easy/basic buckets. Hard defense/clogged lane=hard/advance buckets.

Players adjust. There are 82 games in the regular season and you need a minimum of 16 playoff games to win the championship.
If you want to win it all, playing defense at your peak the entire time is counterintuitive.
The Euroleague is much more like college basketball in the U.S.
The coaches have more power than the players and the game is super micromanaged.
You are overestimating what rule changes would do.
Dumb players won't learn better under FIBA rules or NBA rules.
NBA players join the FIBA and fail there as well. Low IQ is Low IQ whether it is in the U.S. or Europe.
The last 2 NBA champions play amazingly watchable basketball.
In the last 15 years, it appears the only team to win the championship without playing pass-first-motion type basketball has been teams with LeBron on them.
The Lakers bubble team won with physical prowess and the Cavs team won with the strong Iso game of LeBron and Kyrie.
The FIBA rules clog the lane and make the floor smaller.
They aren't ingredients for better basketball.
Harder rules on traveling sure but that is about it.

Major comeback run by US team. For a minute I had counted them out for this game as Germany was putting up some good basketball
It was really just germany fumbling the game. They did not score for over 6 minutes towards the end, when they went up 86:77. US did not play great defense but somehow the german team has a tendency to fumble those games in the end. Same thing happened last year vs spain the the semifinal of the euro cup. If they want to take the next step, they have to fix this issue. If they can, they are absolutely level with every other contender, even the USA team.
The tank of the german guys was empty at the end. This was the 2nd night of a back to back.

Not really. He wanted too much money and he is at his best when he is the primary ballhandler. But Lakers don't really need that with Lebron. And he is a very fluky shooter.
