Made this multiple times now and making it again tonight! So good and hands down I prefer macaroni pie over any kind of mac and cheese. It freezes well too -- so put the leftovers in the freezer, took out the night before I wanted to eat it and warmed it up. Literally THE BEST!

Tried it. Kid didn’t like it. Too grainy. Took almost 30 to melt the cheese sauce. Think I should have heated up the canned milk longer then turn down heat. Also maybe egg made it grainy texture. 👎
Just say that you messed it up. There is nothing grainy about macaroni pie. Literally nothing in the ingredients can possibly produce a grainy texture. Egg is not grainy. You sound like you cannot cook.

I use that too sometimes. Sometimes I do both pepper n onion. It much. Just a lil .Adds a nice flavor to the pie.

@@SamanthaBryan2877actually if the egg is incorporated correctly it can almost scramble and make the cheese seize then it comes out grainy.
