What an amazing conclusion, seriously your skills as a storyteller are absolutely gorgeous. I really can't describe how good this Elseworlds trilogy was (I will admit that I almost teared up at one part). Also if I may ask are you planning on continuing this story based on the post-credits at 21:50, or is that a hint at a future story you are working on?

I can imagine that Padme would be on that same hill, looking at her kids like you mentioned earlier, then all of a sudden, Anakin's force ghost would appear next to her. She would be spooked at first, but she realized that it was Anakin and asked him how it was possible. He would tell her that Qui-Gon helped him transfer his essence into a force spirit and his love for Padme is what empowers. Though, this will only happen if Padme really needs him, and someday, their children will need him.
You said that the force would replace the timeline with something of equal devastation, and on a personal level I agree with this for Obi-Wan and Padme. On a galaxy wide scale however, Anakin removed 23 years of Sidious' rule over the galaxy. Luke's aunt and uncle never died and he never loses his hand, Alderaan remains, Ezra Bridger is never lost and Kanan survives. There's no empire for Thrawn to join. Furthermore all those who died because of the Empire's and Rebellion's conflict never have to give their lives for either cause. This is definitely the more desirable timeline. The only thing that poses a risk is Maul, assuming Maul still escapes the venator like in the original timeline. He still lives.

There's also the threat of the holdouts palpatine had and the possible contingencies he still had. Not to mention the usoong vong and Abbolath- abboloth?

I strongly believe, that even both Anakin and Obi-Wan stood no chance against Darth Sidious, but if he ignited Vader's wrath, like he did here and in ROTJ, then he is the one who's doomed. The thing is, Vader's extreme rage, hatred and determination could be fully unlocked only when someone who he loves like his son or Padme are deathly threatened. And that is why I believe only the true unconflicted Vader is more powerful than Sidious and no one else. With or without the suit, it matters not. When the chosen one decides his own fate completely by himself, as we saw in ROTJ, nothing can stop him.
Do like the ending how the force balances everything, feels right. Was surprised how much I liked this idea, great job and damn am I getting excited with these little cliffhangers
After Ezra saving Ahsoka, maybe Vader couldve found out how it was done... and after some series showing the development of that while Ahsoka finds and saves Ezra, this very story could be turned into the very last episode, of how Vader changed the timeline and created a new one.
I'll recommend you to any star wars fans i meet and tell them you're on a top teir level, especally if they know how deep the lore and the games they play tie into it.
while this was an amazing story with Vader having gone back in time to save Padme, I'm proud to see him do this while it did lead to his younger self dying much earlier while at the same time he had done what was needed to to destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force. I praise you for all the hard work into this and you've won me over as a fan and I look forward to seeing what you have next time. This is the first time I've seen time being used to alter history in such a deep way and with Darth Vader going back to fix his past in away. What I really enjoyed most about this was the realism it wasn’t your typical ending were everything is all good but if they made this real I would want the typical ending were everybody survives like a what if but this was perfect showing that a sacrifice was needed because it was a consequence from the force from time travel this was an absolute masterpiece I’m at a lost for words Disney hire this guy one of if not the best Starwars fan fiction writer on RUclips. When I approached the conclusion to this story, I wanted Vader's time travel to create a consequence in the new timeline he created, which is a rule that happens in many time travel related media. The Flash TV show is a great example. So, with Anakin being the Chosen One and all it made so much sense for him to perish early on, essentially pushing the prophecy much earlier in the timeline. Padme got to live, but Anakin needed to die for it to happen in this specific scenario, one thing happens in exchange for something just as bad, or equally worse for Anakin personally, which revolved around Padme - what better way too hit the nail on that narrative than having him miss out on having a happy ending with his wide. Unbelievable and captivating rendition of this unique storyline. It was so compelling that I could not stop watching because it even brought me to tears. A unique tale of a very plausible concept if time travel were permitted. Even though it was sad that Anakin did not live, it was obvious that his sacrifice was necessary because he could not live with the pain of what he was allowed to do through the manipulation of Palatine. This is one amazing variation of exceptional story telling, and I appreciate what you did, it is absolutely stunning. 😌👍👏

Most people would have ended the vid after the part with Anika dying because it fulfills the title and it’s enough but the was 12 minutes of extra story great vid
This is an amazing story! Especially the ending! Darth Vader traveled through time to change the course of history! Anakin sacrificed himself to save obi wan, padme and his children. The ending is a pure tearjerker! Obi wan promises Anakin’s dying wish to protect Padme, Luke and Leia! Padme lives to see her children grow up but at the cost of losing her husband Anakin thanks to his sacrifice to save everyone. Anakin is laid to rest on the planet of Naboo and is praised a hero and padme is still wearing the necklace Anakin gave to her since they first met each other on tattoine. We also got to see how Rex, Yoda, and ahsoka feel with Anakin’s death. What’s also interesting is the after credits scene where someone visited Anakin at the cemetery and the person is wearing the necklace. Who is that in the after credits scene? Is it padme or someone else? I need to know who it is. Keep up the excellent work!

Tho Ik Star Wars lore says that Vader would disappear I really wonder what would happen, If time travel was treated like it was in the MCU where your you can’t truly change the past only your current present and Vader staying after having Anakin turn back… Personally I think Vader would disappear without them seeing… going to where the duel ended… waiting for it to reach that point I still believe both versions of Anakin would die but Vader would be fighting Sideous tho brief it would be amazing but thats just me and my opinion if the ways of time travel was treated like the MCU but this is still amazing
In this continuity Aniken was much better off sacrificing himself and saving Pademe not only for the sake of the galaxy and Jedi order but for his own spiritual sake as well since he died a hero without seriously falling completely to the darkness and losing himself as Aniken.

Well done! That’s fight between Palpatine Anakin and Obi-Wan was intense. You did a great job writing and narrating what was happening. I was wondering how you were going to end Anakin story in this version. If he lived, he would either have to go into hiding, or be tried for his crimes, which would’ve definitely landed him in prison for a time if not for life. He died a victorious tragic hero. A fitting end for him.
I'm extremely interested in more details about what would happen to the Jedi Order following this. The way I see it, I think it would lead to a much more interesting version of the Jedi that we've never really seen before. They would first of do what many of them had wanted to do for a long time. For the first time in history, they would completely seperate themselves from the Rebublic. Both because they had felt used and forced to fight in the Clone Wars on behalf of the Rebublic, despite many of them having moral objections to it... and also because of the great betrayal of Order 66. The Jedi would from this point be loyal only to their own order, and to the Force. And most Jedi would welcome this change, feeling it's what they should have done a long, long time ago. Their place in the galaxy would be much different from before. They would become almost a shadow organization, both feared and respected. They would still roam around the Rebublic and bring justice wherever they saw fit, but instead of public servants or officials, they would be seen more as these crazy samurai wild-cards, almost like bounty-hunters in the public eye, but more noble. As such, the Sentinel class of Jedi would become a much more popular path, operating as either Watchmen in dedicated planets, or roaming about where ever the Force led them. Since they are no longer affiliated with the Rebublic, they could finally start being active in parts of the galaxy that had been neglected for thousands of years. Many Jedi would begin working in Hutt Space, working against slavery and often being a thorn in the sides of the Hutts. They were not able to do this before, as it might have caused a war between the Hutts and the Rebublic. Equally interesting is how the Jedi Order would be changed internally. First of all, I believe they would abandon their centralized temple on Courusant to a large degree. They would start up new academies on their other planets, like Ilum or Dantoine. With this decentralization, and the Order being in shambles, there would also be opportunity for division.. Each accademy would have their own "school" of training, different from the other to varying degrees. Some Jedi would be disillusioned and join the existing "heretical" orders such as the Potentium. Other more obscure schools of training would be adapted into the larger order, such as the Almas Academy which had always allowed multiple padawans to train under one master (due to their shortage in numbers). Some would be more pacifist, and abolish what they considered to be more barbaric, almost Sith-like, aspects of the order, such as padawan selection combat tournaments. What was formerly the Service Corps would be rebranded into actual respectable paths for a Jedi, rather than a dead-end place for failures (for example Jedi who were not "Knights" could still reach the rank of Master, if they were say dedicated Healers or Diplomats, but didn't focus on combat). Some of the new temples and offshoot orders would allow Jedi to marry, but more Orthodox Jedi, such as those under Yoda and Obi-wan would keep the Jedi Code mostly intact. The Jedi would no longer be the tools of the Senate, but serve the greater galaxy however they saw fit, sometimes acting as if they were above local laws (within limits). They would still encourage political leaders, or average people, to reach out to them to act as liasons, diplomats, healers, aid-workers, or for general protection against criminals/pirates. Now they would also be able to do these jobs with a true neutrality and objectivity which they could not do before. For instance, although the droid army had been shutdown, some seperatist planets were still holding out, and the Seperatist Parliament was still largely intact. The Jedi would attempt to negotiate for peace between the Seperatists and the Rebublic. That's about it. Just expanding a bit on the details.

I always figured padme losing her will to live is because she suffered a larger loss than her husband dying. Her husband became someone she was ashamed of. I always figured that was worse than your husband dying.
So, pretty much regardless what way Anakin would have gone it woumd end in misery and premature death. It's kind of ironic thinking about it, he did everything to escape being a slave and a puppet, but ultimately even the force used him as such, tightly having the strings in hand on a journey that will always play out the same in the end, the only difference being the amount of time it takes to conclude it. Basically like playing a videogame with a single fixed ending and finding ways to speed it up, ultimately it always leads to the same conclusion.

well future did not show ("not yet") but I think maybe Luke or Leia, because it is Padme's grave (Edit) I just noticed he have a glove, and in this timeline luke did not lose his arm. So Anakin or Vader returned. Or Luke or Leia lost their arm
I'd say this was a far better outcome than the one with Anakin's transformation into Vader. Here, the Empire is kept from becoming reality, Padme is alive, Palpatine is dead, and so on. The only thing is that Anakin dies. But even then, at least he found redemption like in the movies. So, I say it could have been a lot worse.
He will return, eh? Can't wait to see who and how, but I'm assuming it has something to do Vader or Anakin, though that doesn't seem right. Perhaps it is future Luke, and the green aesthetic feels like even more of a hint.
I think Anakin would have preferred it this way, to be honest. He never would have met his kids in life, but at least he would have saved Padme and so many others from certain death. Darth vader did try to kill himself at least once once in the suit, it didn’t work of course. But I do think if he had to do it all again and choose this ending, he would, instead of having to go through another 2 decades of suffering.
I feel this ending is pretty balanced. Anakin still must die for balance to be restored plus having pretty much slaughtered all the Jedi there's really no coming back from that (though that stinger says otherwise) and while you say it still got replaced by a bad timeline I say it's more bittersweet because on the whole it's a net positive for the galaxy. No Empire, no Death Star, Owen and Bereu are still alive, etc. Padme may be a widow but she has Luke and Leia. As for the stinger, well the necklace is a dead giveaway but it's probably going to be a Lelouche-type situation.
Yeah, it's still a bad timeline for Anakin since he died and couldn't live out the life he wanted with Padme, but good for the rest of the galaxy since there'd be no Empire.

Since they are no longer affiliated with the Rebublic, they could finally start being active in parts of the galaxy that had been neglected for thousands of years. Many Jedi would begin working in Hutt Space, working against slavery and often being a thorn in the sides of the Hutts. They were not able to do this before, as it might have caused a war between the Hutts and the Rebublic.
Equally interesting is how the Jedi Order would be changed internally. First of all, I believe they would abandon their centralized temple on Courusant to a large degree. They would start up new academies on their other planets, like Ilum or Dantoine. With this decentralization, and the Order being in shambles, there would also be opportunity for division.. Each accademy would have their own "school" of training, different from the other to varying degrees.
Some Jedi would be disillusioned and join the existing "heretical" orders such as the Potentium. Other more obscure schools of training would be adapted into the larger order, such as the Almas Academy which had always allowed multiple padawans to train under one master (due to their shortage in numbers).
Some would be more pacifist, and abolish what they considered to be more barbaric, almost Sith-like, aspects of the order, such as padawan selection combat tournaments. What was formerly the Service Corps would be rebranded into actual respectable paths for a Jedi, rather than a dead-end place for failures (for example Jedi who were not "Knights" could still reach the rank of Master, if they were say dedicated Healers or Diplomats, but didn't focus on combat).
Some of the new temples and offshoot orders would allow Jedi to marry, but more Orthodox Jedi, such as those under Yoda and Obi-wan would keep the Jedi Code mostly intact.
The Jedi would no longer be the tools of the Senate, but serve the greater galaxy however they saw fit, sometimes acting as if they were above local laws (within limits). They would still encourage political leaders, or average people, to reach out to them to act as liasons, diplomats, healers, aid-workers, or for general protection against criminals/pirates.
Now they would also be able to do these jobs with a true neutrality and objectivity which they could not do before. For instance, although the droid army had been shutdown, some seperatist planets were still holding out, and the Seperatist Parliament was still largely intact. The Jedi would attempt to negotiate for peace between the Seperatists and the Rebublic.
That's about it. Just expanding a bit on the details.

So, pretty much regardless what way Anakin would have gone it woumd end in misery and premature death.
It's kind of ironic thinking about it, he did everything to escape being a slave and a puppet, but ultimately even the force used him as such, tightly having the strings in hand on a journey that will always play out the same in the end, the only difference being the amount of time it takes to conclude it.
Basically like playing a videogame with a single fixed ending and finding ways to speed it up, ultimately it always leads to the same conclusion.

I'd say this was a far better outcome than the one with Anakin's transformation into Vader. Here, the Empire is kept from becoming reality, Padme is alive, Palpatine is dead, and so on. The only thing is that Anakin dies. But even then, at least he found redemption like in the movies. So, I say it could have been a lot worse.

I think Anakin would have preferred it this way, to be honest. He never would have met his kids in life, but at least he would have saved Padme and so many others from certain death. Darth vader did try to kill himself at least once once in the suit, it didn’t work of course. But I do think if he had to do it all again and choose this ending, he would, instead of having to go through another 2 decades of suffering.
I feel this ending is pretty balanced. Anakin still must die for balance to be restored plus having pretty much slaughtered all the Jedi there's really no coming back from that (though that stinger says otherwise) and while you say it still got replaced by a bad timeline I say it's more bittersweet because on the whole it's a net positive for the galaxy. No Empire, no Death Star, Owen and Bereu are still alive, etc. Padme may be a widow but she has Luke and Leia.
As for the stinger, well the necklace is a dead giveaway but it's probably going to be a Lelouche-type situation.
Yeah, it's still a bad timeline for Anakin since he died and couldn't live out the life he wanted with Padme, but good for the rest of the galaxy since there'd be no Empire.
